the following day after the boy's had slept over minho's, felix woke up to a lonely bed.
the night prior, changbin had fallen asleep next to him, but as he began to stir the following morning, he found that he was all alone.
part of him wanted to rise out of bed and look for the boy, but the other part of him wanted to lay there forever.
felix was grieving, in more ways than one. he had just ended a friendship with someone he thought he would have in his life forever, his high school years were coming to an end, and most of all... he lost the person who he loved most in this world, his grandmother.
felix shut his eyes again, throwing the blankets over his head angrily as his mind flooded with all he was losing or had already lost.
just as he did this, he heard foot steps coming down the hall and towards his room. he heard the doorknob turn and the the creek of the door slowly opening, but he refused to lift his head.
he heard someone let out a heavy sigh as they approached his bed. felix felt the eight of the person beside him just before the gently began to stroke his back.
"hey bokkie," a soft voice said to him, the voice belonging to none other than changbin, "it's time to get up."
"mmmmm!" felix groaned in annoyance, tightly grabbing onto his blanket so changbin couldn't uncover him.
"lix, i don't know how you managed to do it, but you've slept until three in the afternoon. we went to bed at eleven last night! you got way too much sleep." changbin explained to the boy to try to reason with him, but felix refused.
"i don't want to move." felix complained, his voice slightly muffled from being under the covers.

"but you have to move to survive, bokkie." changbin said as he laid down beside the boy.
"then let me die here." felix regretted this as soon as he said it.
changbin went silent and just sat there for a moment. it left an eerie feeling in the room that made felix want to just run away, but he couldn't, he was determined to lay in bed all day.
"okay," changbin said after a few moments, "i've had enough of this shit."
changbin ripped the blankets off of felix's bed, uncovering the practically lifeless body that was hiding beneath them.
changbin grabbed onto felixs ankles and began to drag the boy off of the bed. felix toppled onto the ground after quite a bit of protesting, but he inevitably lost to changbin's strength.
"put this on." changbin chucked a shirt and jeans at felix and left the room.
felix knew he could just climb back into bed, but seeing changbin so riled up wasn't something that happened often. felix decided he was better off just doing as the boy asked of him.
once he was dressed, he exited the room to find changbin standing right outside his door. as soon as changbin locked eyes with felix, he grabbed onto the boys arm and began leading the boy out of the house and into his car.
"where are we going?" felix asked as he looked at changbin.
"out." changbin opened the car door for felix and allowed him to climb into the car before he went around to the drivers side.
"okay..." felix just sat there as changbin drove.
"why were you so upset today? why did you sleep for so long? how dare you tell me to just leave you there to die?" changbin rattled off all of his questions, finally getting out his frustrations.

felix didn't really know how to answer him though. today he just felt heavy, and in felix's mind, no one could possibly understand.
"felix, please say something. let me in the way you used to." changbin pleaded, and felix could see the raven haired boy was really distraught over this.
"today is just... today i'm... i don't know how to explain it." felix sighed as he tried to think of a way to say it that would make sense.
"just try, please."
"okay... well i had a lot of nightmares last night. i didn't actually sleep as much as you think.
i was up thinking about chan and how he is leaving. then i thought about how my dad left me and my mom basically left me and my grandmother... although she didn't choose to... she left me before i could say goodbye.
i just woke up feeling so drained. like the day feels dark even though the sun is out. my head feels foggy and i jusy feel heavy. i don't know..."
"believe it or not lix, i get it. all of it. i understand how that feels." changbin looked over at the boy briefly before focusing on the road again, he flash a soft smile towards him to give felix some comfort.
he then placed his hand on top of felixs and rubbed his thumb over the blonde's knuckles gently.
"so what do i do about it? how do i fix it?" felix asked, staring at changbin as if he held all the answers to life's unanswerable questions.
"honestly, i wish i knew... maybe then i could help myself too." changbin frowned as he sat there, wishing he knew a way to help felix.
"oh... d-does it have to do with you sister?" felix hesitantly questioned.
"it does actually. we're in the same boat bokkie, neither one of us got to say goodbye to our loved ones."
"i wish we could..." as felix said this, changbin suddenly had an idea.
it may not be the real deal, but it would be the next best thing.
"i have an idea bokkie, you just have to trust me." changbin said as he quickly made a u-turn and began driving to the destination he had in mind.
"i trust you."

However, there are brave souls who dare to risk their lives for the allure of riches and glory. Those who rob graves and storm tombs are known as Nighthawks. Lucrio Law, the young heir of Tosa, doesn’t care about graves or tombs. In fact, he doesn’t care about much besides drinking, gambling, and womanizing. Author's Note: - This story will contain litrpg elements like Titles, Skills, and Levels. - MC will not become instantly powerful. I plan for a slower grind with a focus on the characters themselves rather than their abilities. - This is my first attempt at a litrpg story, so please leave any comments/suggestions you have!
