the boys all made it to the lunch room, one by one piling in. jeongin and felix of course walked in together, causing some to seem upset, and others just didn't care.

chan looked the most upset. he played with his food instead of eating it, and remained silent.

"alright, i've had enough of this shit," minho stated, "we're all getting drunk at my house and loosening up. our friend group has fallen apart lately and we need to just get over all the bullshit."

"you really think drinking will solve that?" seungmin asked, his tone laced with attitude.

"do you have a better idea smart ass?" minho questioned, and seungmin just stayed quiet, "that's what i thought."

"i don't like drinking though," jisung pouted as he looked over at minho.

"you don't have to drink then angel." minho stated as he ruffled jisung's hair.

"i don't like drinking that much either." felix shrugged.

"then you two can take care of those who get shitfaced." minho suggested to the two boys.

"and who here do you think would get shitfaced?" seungmin stifled a laugh as he asked this.

"hmmm..." minho looked around the table, "definitely chan, maybe hyunjin, probably changbin... that's it i suppose."

"my bets on seungmin." hyunjin chimed in.

"what? why me?" seungmin asked defensively.

"because you act all innocent and responsible, but when you finally let loose... you're a completely different person." hyunjin explained, and everyone at the table agreed.

"i'm with hyunjin." felix added. hyunjin looked up in shock, slightly excited over the fact felix agreed with him. it felt like it had been ages since the two of them were close.

"yay, lix is on my side!" hyunjin cheered as he held up his hand for a high five. felix looked up and happily collided his hand with hyunjin's.

felix had been in a much better mood lately thanks to jeongin. he no longer spent every moment thinking about all the negatives in his life, jeongin was able to alleviate that every time he was with felix.

this also made felix not miss changbin as much since he had someone else to lean on. felix knew it wasn't healthy for him to be so dependent on others, but he had gotten so use to being alone that when someone actually does help, it feels euphoric.

"you guys suck." seungmin spat in reference to felix and hyunjin who just laughed it off.

"so is everyone up for some drinks this friday?" minho asked as he wiggled his eyebrows.

"yeah, i think it could be fun." hyunjin smiled.

"i'm in too." seungmin said sounding a bit grumpy.

"i guess i'll go." chan shrugged.

"i'll go." changbin added.

"me too, sounds fun!" jeongin said happily and everyone turned to look at him in shock.

"jeongin drinking? now that's something i want to see." minho laughed as he sat back in his chair.

"what?" jeongin questioned with a confused expression on his face.

"you've never had a drop of alcohol on your tongue, it'll be interesting to see how long you last." minho explained to the boy.

"oh you're evil min, give the boy a break." changbin cut in.

"i don't need you to stand up for me." jeongin snapped, not wanting changbin to be the one to defend him.

"but innie, i thought you didn't like the idea of drinking." hyunjin said softly, feeling slightly afraid to speak to the boy.

"people change." jeongin said as he looked hyunjin up and down. it was his way of not so subtly implying that hyunjin had changed.

"they do, but sometimes people don't stay to find out the reason why." hyunjin mumbled before excusing himself from the table.

"what was that about?" jeongin questioned angrily, feeling as though hyunjin had no right to be upset with him.

"you don't know everything jeongin." changbin whispered into the boys ear before following after hyunjin.

"why the fuck does something always go wrong? can't you guys get along for five minutes? i'm so sick of this shit." minho said angrily at the remaining boys at the table.

"min, it's okay." jisung tried to relax the boy, but it was no use.

"no, it's not okay. our friends are tearing each other apart and it's not going to stop until they ruin their friendships with one another. would that make you happy jeongin? to lose changbin and hyunjin? what about you chan? would you be happy with changbin out of the group?" minho looked to the two boys who both just remained silent.

"felix is the one who got hurt here and he has zero hard feelings towards changbin. jeongin, i know you like hyunjin and are mad he chose changbin over you or whatever the fuck you think... keyword... think happened, but you never even told him how you felt. everyone just needs to get over themselves. fuck." minho said as he let out a heavy sigh.

"i hate when you're right." jeongin pouted as he folded his arms, and began resting his head on felix's shoulder.

"chan," minho looked over at the boy who was still playing with his food, "i wish you heard jeongin's remark from earlier because if i was the one to have said it, it would've been aimed directly at you."

"what are you talking about?" chan finally looked up.

"people change, and you are the one who has changed the most."
