lunch came and felix finally felt ready to leave the nurses office. she kept on questioning him on why he insisted on staying if he was sick, but he explained to her is was just a mere stomach ache and it was quickly passing.
she finally allowed to boy the leave, making him a bit late for lunch, but wasn't really in any rush to be around his friends anyway.
felix walked through the empty, quiet halls and made his way to the cafeteria. he had a lot on his mind, but he tried to keep the monsters at bay for the time being.
he walked into the room with his head down, and was completely tuned out. he was far too focused on his own thoughts to really pay attention to his surroundings.
as he was making his way over to his table, he heard some shouting beside him, which finally caught his attention. however, before he could even look up to see what was going on, a boy crashed into him and sent him crashing down to the floor.
he felt his body skid against the hard surface, his jeans catching on his cuts, causing him to shrill from the pain.
he hated the involuntary noise he made. felix caught the attention of many, which was always the last thing he ever wanted.
all his friends saw what happened for their table and went rushing over. chan was the first person to make it over to felix, and saw the look of pure pain spreading onto his face.
"felix, are you okay?" chan asked worriedly, and felix just nodded his head yes.
"i'm so so sorry, my friend here is a complete fool." a boy in their grade name hyunjae apologized.

"that's okay." felix laughed slightly to hide his pain.
"i'm sorry!" another boy named eric chimed in with a look of guilt plastered on his face.
"i said it's okay, i'm fine, really!" felix assured the boys as chan helped him to his feet.
"felix..." chan trailed off as he stared down at felix's legs, "you're bleeding." the red was seeping through his light wash jeans, earning the intense stares of his peers.
the anxiety felix thought had passed all came rushing back in, he looked around the room, searching for some sort of help.
he checked his pulse as he clenched and unclenched his fist. changbin noticed his behavior and instinctually ran to the boys side, taking felix's hand in his own as the two of them ran out of the cafeteria together.
"where are we going?" felix asked as the tears began to fall from his eyes.
"away from here." changbin responded, dragging felix out of the building and to a place where he would be safe from prying eyes.
"do your leg's hurt?" changbin asked once they made it out of the building.
"n-no..." felix lied, they were burning like crazy as he felt the blood continue to seep through his jeans.
"come here," changbun squat down, insinuating felix should hop onto his back, "just do it bokkie."
felix was hearing the nickname for the first time since the two of them broke up. he got onto changbin's back as he tried to process what he had just heard.
changbin carried felix to his care, and carefully place the boy into the passenger seat once they got there.
the car ride was pretty silent.
changbin had a million thoughts about what happened to felix's legs circling around in his head. he knew the floor would not just cause something like that to happen, but he hoped it was not what he thought it was...

"felix," changbin spoke up, and felix couldn't lie, he wished he heard changbin say the nickname again.
"yeah?" felix responded, but refused to look at changbin. instead, he kept his gaze fixated on the houses they were passing by.
"what happened to your thighs?" changbin questioned, dreading the latter's response.
"i felt onto the floor and slid across it, must be floor burn or something." felix shrugged as he mumbled out his answer.
"floor burn doesn't cause you to bleed." changbin scoffed.
"sometimes it does."
"it doesn't bleed like that!" changbin gestured toward's felix's legs as he grew frustrated from the boy lying to him.
"why do you want me to tell you then? the floor is what caused me to bleed." felix responded, being just as frustrated as changbin was.
"it might have been what caused it now, but what was there before that reopened because of the fall?" changbin knew what was there, he just wanted felix to be honest with him.
"can we not do this? i'm not your responsibility anymore changbin, you broke up with me." felix stated, his tone expressing how hurt he was.
"you were never my responsibility felix, you were the love of my life." changbin corrected.
"nice to know that's what i was to you." felix rolled his eyes, as he tried not to let more tears come crashing down.
"you still are..." changbin sighed.
"what?" felix questioned, not sure if he had heard changbin right.
"it doesn't matter, we're here." changbin said as they arrived to his house. he threw the car in park and stepped out quickly in order to avoid felix pressing the question any further.

A Dungeon Tested
Its a hard life balancing all the things a successful dungeon should be doing. Will our newest addition to the dungeon race even survive let alone make it to the top where dungeons such as the megafauna roam? Or will our main character suffer in the dust till some inauspicious and ignoble death at the end of some F-rankers sword? Note this is me having some fun while I wait for new releases of dungeon stories. Feel free to comment on that basis. I will be keeping the first few chapters slow so as to give me plenty to build upon later. I have tentatively given this the gore tag for now. With that in mind "Let the games begin".

Oublivant
Oublivants: a category of dungeons characterised by the antithesis of life, necrosis. "Dungons as a whole tend towards the lethal side when it comes to exploring them; however, an oublivant actively seeks out destruction on a grand scale. No greater example of their deep hatred for life exists than the very first discovery of an oublivant. It was a massive dungeon spanning miles in all directions. It continuously expanded along the surface, so fast you could see it, and left nothing but a scorched, withered wasteland in its wake. Wherever the oublivant resides, nothing but the undead exist, as all living life has been eradicated. Why it is, exactly, the oublivant seem so against life so as to break the passive rule dungeons have is unknown. What is known, however, is that they're a threat that, upon discovery, is to be immediately eliminated." - Archomagus Addiom Onero, Court of VascilNote: This is my first story on royal road. It'd be nice if you were nice... nicely.
