*beep* *beep* *beep* *be--*
Izuku groaned and stretched, he was about to get up until he noticed something.
'Dammit! It's the third time this week!'
Izuku began to sweat as he stared down at his burnt pillow.
He figures that the burn was caused because he sleeps with his mouth open, and from time to time, he would have unconciously been breathing out small sparks of flame.
Izuku sighed and went down the stairs with an annoyed expression.
Inko giggled at her son's expression so early in the morning.
"Sooo, I'm guessing you need a new pillow?" Inko teasingly asked.
"Mooooommm" Izuku groaned out.
"Oh, grow up, Izuku. It's time you decide which college you're gonna attend." Inko changed the subject.
Izuku was silent for a while. He contemplated.
The past few years of his highschool life was pretty much normal at -- High. He wanted to attend to UA High, but his dreams were pretty much crushed when he had met All Might, not that he could blame the guy.
~~~~•• FLASHBACK••
Izuku had just melted the sludge villain who had attacked him not so long ago into smitherins just before All Might came.
All Might looked shocked at the scene.
Toshinori Yagi was terrified.
What the hell? This kid...
Is dangerous.
The greenete looked at the hero and his eyes sparkled as he took his notebook out and frantically bowed and begged All Might to sign it.
All Might sweat dropped and attempted to calm the boy down and sign his notebook and they talked for a bit, Izuku explaining how much he wanted to be like All Might and how he's gonna attend UA.
"Listen, kid. I know you want to be a hero." All Might stopped and looked at the boy, eye to eye.
"You have a powerful quirk, i'll give you that. But.. your quirk is also dangerous." All Might explained.
"I'm sorry. But I can't allow you to enter any prestigious schools without having full and proper control of your quirk."
"B-But-" Izuku was cut off.
"I know the reason why you want to enter UA High, to improve your control of your quirk and progress to another level to become a hero."
Izuku looked down.
"I'm sure it will be hard, but i've seen a quirk like yours before, and let me just tell you, it didn't exactly work out well. This is for your own good and for all the other innocent people who are much weaker than you, young Midoriya."
"I-I understand..."
"Don't worry, you won't be alone. I'll train you."
Izuku looked up at All Might with shock in his eyes.
All Might gave his signature smile and thumbs up.
From that day onwards, Toshinori had decided to pass on One for All to the kid if he thinks the kid can already handle it.
It's only a matter of time.
He began to realize Izuku didn't have just one quirk, but a small portion of another quirk too, just like one of his students at UA, Todoroki Shoto.
~~~~~••END OF FLASHBACK••
A loud yawn was heard from the couch.
"So you're finally up." The owner of the voice stood up from the couch and finished his coffee.
"Eat your breakfast, we're starting after you suit up."
"Waahhhh!!??? Already??? But it's still 7! Ugh.. normally, you'd wait until 9! So cruel, Yagi-sensei!" Midoriya whimpered.
"Oh stop whining and start eating, young Izu." Toshinori crossed his arms.
"You two shouldn't be arguing early in the morning." Inko spoke up.
"Sorry Mom..." Both boys said in unison.
"Waaaahhh!? YAGI-SENSEI!?" Inko flushed.
"WHA-NO WAIT I DIDN'T- AGHH!!" Toshinori became a tomato.
Izuku stared at the scene and couldn't help but laugh along.
He was happy.
~~~•••
Guess what age Izuku is right now??? ^w^
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
Law of Divine Gates
What is transcendence? There are those on countless planets who believe creation ended with them. The notion that they are God's chosen people, and nothing else existed beyond them became a firmly rooted ideal. An arrogant assertion you say? Well there you have it, ignorance is something mortals never have a lack of. This is not transcendence, to transcend is to explore the limits of existence, to constantly grow, and lay claim to all the universe has to offer. Transcendence is to not be constrained by ideals, or the planet of your birth, to transcend is to leave behind your Mortal shell, to challenge heaven's law, and formulate your own. Heaven would see mortals bowed in servitude until the end of their days, to reincarnate, and begin another lifetime of worship, giving praise to the gods. A young demon accidentally stepped through the gateway of endless possibilities, will he succumb to heaven's authority?
