Sora x reader
||AU where (it's taken place in the keyblade graveyard) everyone is trying to fight xehanort but Sora ends up falling into darkness.||
Y/n's POV
I panic and defeat the group of heartless. i panted softly and turned to sora fighting his own group of heartless. "sora!" i shout and toss him a potion of healing. he smiles at me and uses it before going back to fighting the heartless. i go to the different groups of people fighting different heartless and helping out in any way i can until the heartless stop spawning.
before i knew it yen sid showed up and created a barrier around us all, shielding us from the heartless. i sigh from slight relief but rush over to sora.
he smiled at me basically letting me know he was fine. donald and goofy rushed over to yensid to help him with the barrier.
"you all must go! defeat the darkness!" yen sid said, we nod and run through the path.
~~skip to the part were riku, sora and mickey are fighting the xehanorts~~
Sora and i fought through xehanort. the old hag barely put up much of a fight from what it seemed like, he just kept moving around, i was glad that we didn't have to block so many hits. we panted softly seeing the ghost of eraqus talk to his old friend. with a soft smile i thought o the hope that could come with xehanort, maybe he'd change? oh i thought wrong.
the two were just about to leave until xehanort looked back at sora with an evil smirk. he raised up his keyblade and struck sora in the heart with it, releasing all of the darkness into him, shadow monsters such as heartless started to escape from sora, sora himself looked as if he were turning into his rage form but for good. i gasp and take my keyblade, hitting it against xehanort's, he pulled away and i knew i was ready for round two. but what was to come was something id never be ready for.

sora joined the battle, but i fought xehanort first and moved my direction to sora, in slight hopes i can save him without xehanort interrupting.
i pinned sora down and panted, looking him in his solid colored eyes "sora... sora don't give in! don't let the darkness take over!" i cried out.
he stopped struggling for a second, i let my guard down just a small bit and he kicked me off of him. he got up into a fighting position but didn't attack, the real sora shook his head before the darkness tried taking over again. this continued on for a minute before sora took complete control.
his eyes were watery, he was... crying-
"sora!" i drop my keyblade and run over to him
he backs up "y/n- don't come any closer- i dont want you getting hurt-"
"sora i don't care if i get hurt i need to save you"
the darkness started to get stronger. he shook his head and reached his arm out to me but before i could take it. he cried out
"i love you y/n"
the darkness gained control and when i tried grabbing his hand he vanished into thin air. i stood in utter shock before dropping to my knees. i held my chest and cried loudly. leaning over in a fetal position. i couldn't stop crying. i couldn't stop. i couldn't save him.
i didn't get to say what ive always wanted to say
i love you too sora..

A//N: hehe well? hope it was a lil okay. i might give this a second part where y/n finds sora. but whether it be a good ending or a bad ending is up to how it all goes down. :) have a good day or night.

And when it happens it wont be overly explicit. Gore and traumatising content: It wont be at the level of nauseous but it may be too so just to be safe.
