Riku came to the house, he had a key to my home and I always knew it was him because we had a secret knock code to tell each other that it's us. I sat on the couch red puffy eyes and tears streaming down my face. Everything about this day was complete shit and to think that someone finally wouldn't cheat on me was obviously false hope.

Rikus POV

I walked into the house with a soft smile, I loved this little lady that invited me over and I'd do anything to see her smile, I'd never hurt her, even if it meant a life or death situation I couldn't bare seeing her cry or sad. But that's exactly what I walked into and I would never walk out of it unless it was fixed.

There she was, sitting on the couch crying her eyes out mumbling things under breath. I walk over to her and sit next to her pulling her into a tight hug.

"Y/n what happened? Sora did something since he's not here, tell me and I'll make him pay" I say caressing her hair, now wasn't the time to think of how much I'd smother her in love, it was the time to comfort her and tell her things will be better.

"That bastard cheated and.... it doesn't surprise me but god it hurts so bad" she cried

I hesitated and made a small joke but cleared my throat after it backfired.

"Here, tell me about it"

She spilled every little detail and what she did the the girl and Sora, I couldn't help but to think 'that's the beauty i know'.

She finishes and continues to cry. I needed to tell her something caring.

"Y/n listen to me, you are a beautiful kind loving independent woman who doesn't need a jerk like Sora, you need someone who will stick by your side and love you, kinda like me" I chuckle with a deep blush 'Riku you're fucking up badly right now'

"You're right Riku."

"I know I am. Look y/n.... I know now isn't the best time... and it probably won't be for a while. But I love you and love can wait, I want you to be truly happy with any decision you make and I support you in each and every decision you decide to make."

"Thank you Riku..... just..... give me a bit of time and things will be different... for now, let's think of some good things and watch movies"

I smile down at her, she always knew how to hide her emotions but I could see right passed it. Hold her close and watch movies with her.
