Aqua X Shy!Reader

Shy water

You were a soon to be keyblade master, after the trio left to hunt each other down, Eraqus focused on you, taking you under his wing. He trained you every day that the trio was gone, and even at some point you were able to meet Aqua, at first you were shy and you still are (because Reader is bottom x3 don't kill me) but you were comfortable around Aqua. Whenever she did come back to check up on you and Eraqus she fell in love with you more and more and soon your own feelings for her blossomed.

Terra came home one day and fought Eraqus, you were told to stay inside the castle and hide but through your room window you watched it all happen, you watched Terra take your masters life; but you knew that it wasn't the Terra you knew it was the darkness gnawing at his heart and ripping it into darkness's strong hold. You ran down to the main room where you all met Ven but the man you despised most stood in front of you: Vanitas. You didn't hate him you just really r e a l l y didn't like him.

"What are you doing here?" You asked summoning your keyblade and getting ready for any form of battle.

"Calm down princess, you and I are just gonna go for a little ride. Aqua will be there" Van knew exactly how to crawl under your skin, the thought of Aqua being "there" scared you, you also having no idea where "there" is you assumed it was something bad. You are indeed shy but you'd do anything to save your friends.

"Fine... but tell me- is Aqua and Ven safe?" You ask lowering your keyblade but still guarded.

"They're Fine But if you don't come now they won't be for long." Van smiled through the blacked out window hiding his face. He took your hand and used his keyblade throwing it down to create a motorcycle like ride, he had you stand behind him as the keyblade ride zoomed off into a portal.

The keyblade graveyard was no place to mess around, there were horrid memories of the brutal past and soon present if you were to fight Xehanort alone. You knew you didn't have to fight him alone but if you managed to ware them out the trio would have a better chance of winning than you would ever.

Aqua had gotten to the keyblade graveyard quicker than Terra or Ven, she returned home to find you missing and came here, it seemed like the dark bubble that covered it broke and that was the first place she went to, lucky for her here you were fighting Xehanort and Vanitas alone. She ran by your side helping to take out one enemy at a time.

"Aqua! You're really here!" You exclaimed. Since you were both battling there was no stopping for a hug or more talk.

Xehanort disappeared into smoke and was gone for a good while, meaning you and Aqua just had to finish off Vanitas before you could talk. You all fought though it wasn't easy with another person it was a little harder but you two managed to find a way to defeat Van. Aqua turned to you and pulled you close panting heavily "y/n you're safe." She held onto you tighter, hey you weren't complaining but being this close to Aqua made you blush madly. "I'm okay Aqua. I'm glad you're safe aswell. I assume you hid Vens body well, and Terra? Where is he?" You ask looking around for any form of life other than yours and Aquas.

"Ven is hidden well and I'm not sure where Terra is but right now I don't care about anything but you. I love you y/n and if anything happens to me or you I hope you know I love you so much" Aqua seemed as if she already knew that something bad were to happen... she was was right too.

Terra managed his way to the Keyblade Graveyard, rushing to where you and Aqua were fighting he got there in time to catch you. Your heart had been frozen and Aqua tried to stop it from killing you but it was too late. This wasn't the time to be shy so you let your emotions pour before death did you part.

"Aqua I love you too. When I first met you I thought of you a lot and sometimes shrugged it off as a silly feeling but getting to know you made me think that I love you and I always have. Don't let my death be in vein and destroy that bald headed bastard" you laughed and clenched at where your heart is.

Aqua smiled and leaned down to kiss you deeply wiping away tears in the process. After the kiss you were gone, eyes slowly closed and body fell limp.

Terra places a hand on Aquas shoulder and frowned seeing her love die before her eyes.

The galaxy is a cruel place.
