"Y/n!" His voice scares me, making me drop my blade. I panicked hoping he didn't see the small pools of blood on my arms.
"What's that?" He asked.
"O-oh uh nothing." I reply quickly. He caught on to my actions and took the blade from my hand. It was drenched in blood that slowly dropped onto the floor. His face grew pale.
"Y/n? Let me see your arms" he spoke kindly. I oblige and just show him. With the amount of blood I've lost I'd pass out within the next five minutes.
"Why?"
I remained silent
"Y/n please"
I shake my head feeling light and dizzier.
I feel him attempt to pick me up but I stumbled and fell a bit. I look around the room trying to find a focusing point on cloud "I'm sorry.... I love you so much" i whisper before my vision went black.

She.... hurt herself... I picked her up in haste and took her to Aeriths house, where I knew she'd help.
-at Aeriths house-
I ran in with y/n still in my arms. Aerith jolted up.
"Cloud what happened?"
"She hurt herself and I didn't know what else to do, so I just came to you knowing you wouldn't send her off to some asylum" I speak softly while telling exactly what happened. I notice her eyes grew with fear and worry, she rapidly nodded and took y/n into care. I went outside to try and clear my head. I couldn't, al I could think about was what happened to y/n. God I love her so much and if I lost her. I'd loose any bit of light I'd ever known....

Aerith soon came out with her usual peaceful face "she'll be okay. Just give her some time"
I nod "can I see her?"
Aerith nods and leads me to y/n. I tried to hold back my tears as I saw her figure laying in a bed.
I walk up to her and gently hold her hand. Rolling up her sleeve to see the cuts. They were all gone. I smiled softly and kissed her head softly "I love you so much.... please never do this again..... I couldn't loose you... you mean so much to me" I stand up and began walking away.

What happens after you draw your last breath? Gerald never did. It didn’t even cross his mind on the day he died for his country. But now he’s there. Now he’s living it. Death wasn’t the end, it was only the beginning. I’m on TDY from Hell is a Dark Supernatural Fantasy from the mind of BeamMeUpScotty who brought you the superhero fanfiction, A Change of Pace. Northwoods Trapper
In the wild places of our planet, dark vestiges of our paranormal past yet cling to twisted life. In the past, the hunters and trappers of the world were tasked with removing such blights from society's fringes - legal assassins, enlisted to enforce the will of civilization against those unnatural, otherworldly hosts. Nowadays, we're not so lucky. With the idea of proper monster-hunting fading from public perception, the once-prestigious mantle is donned by amateurs, hobbyists, and self-taught warriors. It pays poorly, it's dangerous, and people would rather do something that gets them rich or famous or drowning in attention. Most often, new-age monster hunters are born from tragedy. They lack the tact, training, and funding of hunters passed. Instead, they have only their wits and brawn to carry them through. So it is with our hero. In the woods of the American Midwest, foul creatures lurk. Tabitha Varna, a young college drop-out scarred by her past, is determined to uproot them or die trying. Sometimes she hopes for both.[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
