His Grace

"I win!" His voice filled the quiet room, the sun making his golden eyes brighter than anything I've ever seen.

Eraqus huffed for a second before looking at his friend "the game isn't over yet"

He paused "what? Yea it is!" He said playfully.

The two argued over the game, I sat on one of the comfy sofas reading books. I begin giggling at their nonsense. I guess they heard me.

"Y/n! Darkness or light!?" They say together. I sit up closing the book, I was the balancer, so my sides were always the same. I had scale like armory that held both the moon and the sun, each representing the light and the darkness.

I walk over to the two boys and lean down "hmmm.... I'd say..... I win" I laugh, the both gasped as if they were hurt "but! You didnt play the game" Eraqus groans "oh but my dear friend. I did play, I played out who won, which was neither, for you will always have darkness" I say looking at Xhenort "and you will always have light" I look over at Eraqus "But, hidden in both light and dark there will always be the opposite, one casting the dark and one casting the light." I say.

"You're quite the riddler" Eraqus jokes "indeed, you should make riddles one day" Xehanort springs up and spoke cheerfully. I laugh and shake my head "I think I'll remain keeping you two in check.." I say "sunset.. I'll see you guys later!" I say and run out of the room. I loved this time of day. The sun hitting the water creating such beauty of reflections. I ran to the beach and sit in the sand. I stare into the ocean and the suns warm glow. I smiled.

I watch y/n run out of the room. I smile at her "come on man. We'll be late if you keep drooling over a goddess like her!" Eraqus' laugh chirped. I smiled "I think I'll skip this training out." I blushed softly, placing a hand on my neck and rubbing it trying to seem normal. "this is the seventh time you've skipped" "I know... it'll be the last. I promise" I say with a tint of excitement "you say that every time" Eraqus cries out. I laugh and run off, summoning my keyblade since it'd be getting dark out in a few. I run to the beach and see Y/n casted in a dark shadow. I began to panic "y/n?!" I call out. But she did nothing. It looked as if she was just frozen. I walk up to and touch her shoulder. I bolted back in a bit of pain. I hissed at the electricity.

Slowly she began to turn around. Her eyes filled with fear and worry. But empty and dull...

"Y/n?" I say again reaching out to her

"You should've stayed away......"

"What?"

"You could've been saved"

"What are you talking about?"

"Your future ends in loving pain...."

"My what? Y/n what are you talking about?"

"I love you"

She was gone...

Vanished

Turned into nothing but air.

I stood in complete silence, gripping my wrist tightly to try and stop the pain.

I face down to see if there were any remains when I found my hands covered in black. Just black... I panicked and ran to look for Eraqus.

"Eraqus!!" The young boy yelled running into the large ball room. The boy who's named Eraqus turned around in haste, instantly noticing the situation Xhenort was in.

"What happened to you?!" He asked rushing over to his friend

"I went to see y/n.. she was casted in some shadow and- and I went to touch her shoulder then this happened then she said something about my future then she just vanished" Xhenort cried out and held his hands together, the black stuff began to spread quickly.

Eraqus looks at his friend in utter shock, slowly taking in the information he just gained "She... vanished? But how?"

"I don't know!!" The young pained boy yelled and soon dropped to his knees screaming in a horrific way. He unclenches his hands and goes to grab his head as if something were happened inside his mind.

Eraqus hasn't any idea what to do. Y/n was the only person they trusted to help with tragedies like this..

"I love you"

I was gone this time.... I was really gone... and I had no way of getting back.... I hurt him bad... he'll never be the same ever again and it's my fault....

"Nothing is your fault child. Things happen for a reason. It's called destiny" a dark voice came from behind my body. I faced down "DiZ..... I.... I really hurt him.... it wasn't supposed to happen like that.... it wasn't supposed to!!" I cry and summon my keyblade. It's gray glow lit up the dim room.

"Maybe not at this time no.... but their destiny was written like this. It was written for them to have this conflict and become who they're supposed to be....."

DiZ's voice echoed in my mind... I know he was right about but I couldn't help but feel like I've ruined everything.

"I can send you back to Balance they're powers... but you have limited time"

I perk up. I nodded rapidly "anything to apologize and fix this.."

I know I chose my destiny... it was to save them, they deserved to live longer than time, but somehow I couldn't help but to love them both, Eraqus like a brother and Xehanort... like something else. I shook off my thoughts and watched DiZ open a portal to The World That Never Was..

A beautiful place in fact. But it's not the main concern at the moment.

I step threw letting my body tense up as I begin my search for my friends.

I hadn't any idea of how long it had really been... 14 years have passed.... just in about 14 minutes..... I couldn't believe it... yet I still ran around aimlessly looking for the two. I'd found Eraqus, older and different. He had two little apprentices by his side. I greeted them with gifts and looked up at my old friend.

"Where is he?" I asked looking into his sorrowful eyes "... where he's always been... where you'd always be when the sun would set and the moon would rise and the colors of the sky would fade into each other..." he riddled, I smiled and thanked him and ran off to the beach.

}{}{}{} NORMAL POV [][][][][

"Xehanort!!!!" A feminine voice calls from behind the older man, he turns around and looks at her with shock. He was much more different and grown up from the incident "you're.... alive?" He went up to her and pulled her into the tight hug.

Giving a soft and kind nod she hugged back "listen. I don't have much time. I'm sorry for what happened years ago and I wish you could forgive me one day and I wish I could've been here for you to help you control what you're going to become and.... what I said before I left... I meant it and I'm going to admit it now in case If i may never Come back.." she spoke looking up at him.

"I'll always forgive you..." he said, kissing her softly. Holding her by the waist, he summoned his keyblade, and whispered "I love you too".

Xehanort held back any sort of vulnerable emotion and shot the keyblade in her back. Sending her to be weak and stumble.
