"come in." the man said after hearing a knock on his door.

"boss... i think you want to see this." a younger male said as he hurried into his bosses office.

"what the hell is this?" the man shouted.

as this was happening, another young man happened to be walking by. the boy stopped upon hearing the yelling and decided to eavesdrop for just a moment.

"he came out? he must be with minho... get minho and bring him here. let's try some... helpful therapy for that boy." the man, minho's father, said to his assistant.

"therapy? by that do you mean... c-conversion therapy sir?" his assistant asked.

"i pay you to do as i say, not to question my actions." mr. lee spat at the young man.

"right... sorry sir. i will get someone to find minho." the boy bowed before quickly exiting the room, and the eavesdropper made sure to hid himself.

the boy who had listened in on the conversation went off to his practice room, getting there before the rest of his members, which gave him some time to take care of something...

he pulled out his phone and quickly searched for a contact. he brought the phone to his ear and anxiously awaited an answer.

"hello?" a deep voice said on the other side of the line.

"hey felix, it's me... chenle."

"oh, hey chenle!" felix greeted excitedly.

"listen, i don't have much time and neither will you once i tell you this, so please act quickly..." chenle began, making felix's heart begin to race, "minho's father is searching for him and jisung. once he gets minho he plans on forcing him to go to conversion therapy. please find them and get them somewhere safe... it's my fault this is all happening in the first place."

"chenle, this is not your fault. what are you talking about?" felix asked.

"minho's father saw what i commented on minho's post. i didn't even realize they were related. so many people have the surname lee... i'm so sorry felix." chenle said sincerely.

"stop apologizing. i'm sure minho does not blame you for this. i'm going to find them and get them somewhere safe... but if i may ask, how could minho's father force him into conversion therapy? minho's an adult now."

"mr. lee can be quite creative with his threats... trust me." chenle said and before felix could question it, he spoke again, "i have to go now, i'm sorry. text me once you find minho and jisung!" and with that chenle hung up, leaving felix to sort out the issue on his own.

felix froze for a moment, the pressure feeling like it was weighing on his chest and slowly crushing his lungs.

felix was technically meant to be working, he was lucky he took his lunch break at the time he did. he wanted to just leave work and find minho and jisung, but he also wanted to keep his job, so he called the one person who he knew would always be there to help.

"hello?"

"channie... do you know where minho and jisung are?" felix asked the latter.

"i do, why?" chan responded, the worry in felix's voice concerned him.

"get them and bring them back to our place, okay? don't open the door for anyone. changbin and i have keys, we can get in on our own. just pretend like no one is home, okay?" felix said, his voice shaking a bit.

"felix, what's going on?" chan asked.

"minho's dad wants to send minho away... just please find them and do as i asked."

"okay, okay felix. you can trust me. i will protect them." chan said hoping to ease the boy's nerves.

"chan, why would minho's father do this to him? how can he control him this much?" felix asked, his voice slightly breaking in the process.

"he's a man with a lot of power in the industry of which we work... he can do whatever he wants to any of us technically. one bad word from him about us and we'd be done for." chan stated truthfully.

"so, for just being friends with minho and helping him, we're putting our own careers on the line?" felix asked, the anxiety creeping back up on him.

"i don't think minho would let anything like that happen to us. he's a great guy and an even better friend, he puts us and jisung before himself always." chan explained, and felix just hummed in response.

"ah... stop talking to me, go get them before it's too late!" felix said and abruptly ended the call.
