minho woke up early on saturday, packed a bag for an overnight, and prepared himself mentally for the worst.

he still hadn't told jisung where he was going for the weekend, and as he checked his phone that morning he realized now he needed to.

🖤✨

i miss you

come over

i can't today jisung

i have to go home for the weekend

why didn't you tell me sooner:(

because i don't really want to

go so talking about it would only

make me upset

i'm sorry...

it's not your fault ji

what if i went with you?

my parents are homophobic jisung

they won't really approve of that

you can just tell them we're friends

they always see right through me

i don't want to risk it sungie

they told me they want to introduce

me to someone and i really don't know

who it would be so that's another

reason why it wouldn't be a good idea

:(

i understand

i'm sorry kitten

minho finished getting ready and headed to his car. he took the hour drive to his parents house and blasted his music as a way to drown out his thoughts.

minho was terrified of his parents to say the least. he had no idea what they were planning, but he knew it couldn't be good.

it seemed as though the car ride to his parents house got shorter, he arrived in what felt like minutes.

he took a deep breath before stepping out of his car and walking up to the door.

he dusted himself off, trying his best to look presentable for them, and then knocked on their mansion door.

his family's butler answered the door and allowed him inside.

"hello sir, it's been awhile." his butler, mr. kim greeted with a kind smile.

"it has not nearly been long enough... sorry, that's not towards you mr. kim." minho apologized sincerely.

"i know, your parents haven't seemed happy lately... did something happen?"

"i guess that's what i'm here to find out." minho shrugged as he went further into his house.

"im home!" he shouted. his parents appeared out of nowhere and greeted him with half hearted smiles.

"at least you look somewhat presentable." his mother scoffed.

"we tell you you're meeting someone and this is how you dress?" his father rolled his eyes, "at least it isn't anyone important."

"then why am i here if they're not inportant?" minho asked under his breath, but his father still heard him.

this angered his dad in more ways than one. he walked towards minho, gripping tightly onto his shirt, and getting in his face.

"because we told you to be here. dont question it boy." his father said through grit teeth before shoving minho away.

minho stumbled backwards as he lost his balance, falling flat on his butt.

"get up." his father insisted angrily.

minho got up in a rather annoyed way and just walked up towards his room.

"where are you going?" his mother asked.

"to change since it's clearly not good enough." minho yelled towards them.

"it's good enough, but it's not good." she said with a disgusted face, "just stay down here. our guest will be here soon."

"fine." minho walked back down the stairs and in towards the kitchen. he grabbed himself a glass of water and tried to calm his nerves.

he hated that his parents had this affect on him, he wished he could just be the person he wanted to be.

instead, minho was living under their control, always worried of what he would do next to cause them to be disappointed in him.

minho knew they were less like parents and more like dictators, but he couldn't help but still listen and care what they think. they were still his parents after all.

there was a knock on the door after a few moments and minho felt his anxiety spike.

"he's here." his mother said to minhos father.

minho tried to figure out what her tone meant. it didn't sound happy nor excited... it just seemed more matter of fact. it didn't help minho figure out who he was meeting in the slightest.

a.n.

who he is meeting:)
