Raymond Smith x Reader
⚠️Warnings: Angst (if you squint), fluff, language, slight smut
You pull into Raymond's driveway and excitedly get out of the car. Your heels clack against the pavement as you climb the two steps and ring the doorbell.
"Hm." You say after a couple of seconds. He usually answers the door fairly quickly. You press the button again and wait. "What is he doing in there?" You get ready to knock, when the door flies open.
"Y/N." He says. You smile.
"Hi sweetheart." You press a kiss to his lips. You pull away and look at his face. "Why do you look so confused?"
"Because I am. What are you doing here?"
"Are you serious? We were supposed to..."
"To..." he says, trying to remember.
"Fuck Raymond! We were supposed to fuck."
"Oh shit." It hits him.
"Oh shit is right. How could you forget? It was your idea to do this tonight. You think I wore this..." you open your trench coat to reveal black lingerie. "For fun?" Raymond looks you up and down and licks his lips. "You know what, fuck this. I'm coming in." You push him aside and walk in. He grabs your hand.
"Y/N." You snatch your hand away.
"What? Fucking what?" He shuts the door.
"Now's not really a great time."
"Why not?"
"I'm working love." You sigh in disappointment and shift your weight to your left leg.
"It's always work innit? And it'll always be work." You shake your head and look down. Raymond hates to see you hurt but this is serious.
"Fletcher's here." He confesses. You look at him.
"Fletcher?" He nods and pushes his glasses up against the bridge of his nose. "What the bloody hell is he doing here?"

"It's nothing. Just some... bullshit. He'll be out in half an hour. Tops. And then..." he wraps his arms around you. "Then we can do whatever you'd like." He goes to kiss you but you turn your head and he kisses your neck.
"You promise?"
"Don't I always keep my promises?" His hands slide behind you and he grabs two handfuls of your ass and you sigh deeply, already feeling tension between your thighs. "There's my girl." You roll your eyes. "Just wait up for me and I will rock your world tonight. Alright?" He kisses your cheek causing you to giggle.
"Alright. Knob." You step away from his embrace. "I guess I'll just go... masturbate in your bed or something." You suggest as you take off your shoes.
"Keep it warm for me darling." He winks. You passionately kiss him and bite his bottom lip.
"Don't keep me waiting long." You stroke his beard. You walk past the living room to go to upstairs to the bedroom.
"Y/N." Fletcher says. "Always a pleasure."
"Fuck you Fletcher, you waste of human skin." You say as you strut past without stopping.

After his meeting with Fletcher, Raymond climbs the steps to the bedroom. He opens the door to find you laying back on the bed.
"Half an hour." You say. "Good job. What was the meeting about?"
"That's a discussion for the morning. Tonight..." he slides onto the bed. "Is all about you." He says in between kisses that trail from your ankle to you thigh.
"Isn't it always about me?" You smirk. He scoots up further onto the bed and gets ahold of your lingerie.
"Let's get a look at you." He rips it open and takes both breasts in his hands before kissing them.
"I want them off." You look at his pants.
"But—"
"You kept me waiting long enough. I want it. Now."
"As you wish." You bite your bottom lip in anticipation as you watch Raymond strip down to nothing but his glasses. He goes to remove them but you stop him.
"Leave them on." You lean up and kiss him.
"Next time we have a sex date, I'll remember."
"Promise?"
"Promise." He flips you over so you're on top. "Now get on me."
"Yes sir." You smirk.

Dungeon Ship (Ash Rising)
What do you get when you mix together an uploaded human brain, two different sources of alien technology, and a love for video games? My name is Ash. Thats the only thing about me I'm still sure about. I've been having a rough time of it lately. I used to be human, but I'm definitely not human anymore. For awhile I was a weapon, then a space probe, and now... Well, now, I'm a kind of dungeon core. A space-traveling, alien-hybridized, freaked-out of my artificial mind Dungeon Core. Everyone that might have known human me is long dead. Anyone that finds out what I am now will almost certainly want to make me join them. I'm all alone. And I'm hungry. The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized
