Sam's POV:

'She hasn't left her room in days.' You think to yourself. I mean it makes sense that she told Bucky to get out, but it's taking a toll on her.

"How is she?" Steve asks outside my bedroom.

"Not better. She refuses to do anything." I sigh. "I don't know what to do."

"She's traumatized." I scoff.

"We're way past that..." I don't want to say it, but I know I have to. "She misses him."

"But she told him to leave."

"And now she regrets it." I say. "Well I'm not gonna go get him."

"Fine."

Bucky's POV:

3 weeks. That's how long it's been without her. I know she told me to get out, but I miss her desperately. At times like this, I'm supposed to be with her, holding her in my arms, having her head rest comfortably on my chest.

I love her.

But she wants nothing to do with me and it's all my fault.

"Bucky." Steve says.

"What?"

"You have to come back."

"I can't. She doesn't want me there."

"She can't say it, but we all know she does. She's just... scared. She's scared that you may do it again. But she loves you."

"I can't Steve. Ok? I'm afraid of hurting her too... I can't take that risk. I'm sorry. I love her so much that I need to stay away." I sigh and leave my best friend.

"Did I ever tell you how beautiful you are?"

"Every chance you get." You smile.

"Well I mean it... every time."

"I know."

"Did I ever tell you how much I love you?"

"Everyday."

"You know I'll never stop loving you right? No matter what?" You nod your head.

"I know."

"Never forget that. Never forget how much I love you."

You pull yourself out of the memory, trying forget it. But you know you can't. You can't forget him. You can't forget how much he loves you.

But if he loves you why isn't he here? He should push what you said aside and be here anyway. Because he loves you...

Bucky's POV:

I get to the apartment and knock on the door. The door opens and Steve is standing there.

"It's about time." He steps aside and I walk in. Sam walks in front of me before I approach her door.

"You hurt her again, I'm gonna kill you."

"I'm not." He steps aside and I open the door. Her back is facing me. "Hey." She turns around. "Sorry I'm late." She gives a sigh of relief and her face relaxes. I climb onto the bed next to her, and my eyes immediately go immediately to her neck. "I'm so sorry baby. I would never intentionally hurt you."

"I know." She says barely above a whisper. I lean in and kiss the slowly fading bruises on her neck.

"I... love... you..." I say in between each kiss. She sighs softly. I pull her into my arms and she rests her head on my chest. "You know I'll never stop loving you right?" She nods. "No matter what, I love you with all my heart and soul Y/N. Never forget."
