《His New Instinct "An August Walker And Mission Impossible Fallout fanfic"》Interview

Natasha woke up the next morning. Emily was getting ready to go to her university. She was packing her bag.
"Waky waky my friend. Looks like you had a peaceful sleep." Emily smiled while closing her bag's zip.
"Oh! Jet lag. That's all I can say." Natasha yawned while climbing out of her bed.
"The breakfast will be ready in half an hour. Go get yourself freshen up because if you don't reach the mess in time you won't be getting any breakfast." Emily said.
"I have an interview today. Thank God I woke up just in time." Natasha said to her and on this thought she ran towards her suitcase. She opened it and took out her three piece business attire which she brought for her interview which was going to be held in CIA headquarters.
"Are you serious? You didn't tell me yesterday that you have an interview." Emily said while she came to stand with her.
"I just forgot to tell you. I have an interview at the CIA headquarters in Manhattan." Natasha said while closing the suitcase.
"Then you must hurry up girl." Emily said.
Natasha went to the bathroom and took a shower. She hurriedly threw on her three piece dress. A dress shirt, blazer and a skirt perfect for an interview.
She reached the mess when it was only 15 minutes left. All the girls had finished breakfast. She went to the buffet and got herself a croissant and orange juice.
Her eyes looked for Emily and thankfully she found her.
"Here you are." She pulled out a chair and placed her breakfast tray on the table.
"You're late Natasha." Emily said.
"I know but I won't be late for my interview." She said.
Emily introduced her to her friends Kate, Gemma and Kayla. All were younger than her and were studying with Emily in the same university.
"I gotta go now. All the best for your interview Natasha." Emily hugged her and left the mess.
Natasha went out and waved herself a taxi. She told him the address of the venue.
Upon reaching her she realized there wasn't any specific building for CIA headquarters and it was probably for safety purpose. It was a huge office building comprising of various company's offices. She entered and told her name to the receptionist. She was already shortlisted for the interview so the receptionist checked her name in the list.

"It's on the 10th floor and you will have to submit me your ID card before proceeding to the office." She said.
Natasha submitted her ID card and went towards the lift. The lift came empty. She stood inside and pushed the button for the 10th floor. The lift started to ascend.
She took out her cellphone and started to check her emails when the lift stopped on the 3rd floor. The door opened and someone came inside. She didn't notice it. She was busy in her cellphone.
The man claded in a three piece suit stood beside her and the lift started to ascend again.
"May be he was also there for his interview." She thought. While focusing on her cellphone's screen.
When the 10th floor came and the door opened the man went out. She also came out and went to the reception to introduce herself.
"Hi! I am Natasha White. I am here for an interview." She said.
"Yes! I know. Just go straight from there and take left and wait in that room. You will be called shortly." She replied.
"Thankyou!". Natasha went to search for the room. It was spacious. Many candidates were waiting for their turn. She could see the nervous -ness on their faces and could feel the tension in the air. Half an hour had passed. It would take half an hour more for her turn to come so she decided to go out and get herself a cup of coffee from the coffee vending machine.
She took her folder and her bag and went out. The vending machine was in a corner.
She entered the change, pressed the cappuccino button and took the disposable coffee cup filled with coffee.
As she turned to go she didn't see the man coming infront of her. She hit his chest.
A squeal escaped her lips as the coffee spilled on both of them. Her folder hit the ground and her papers were scattered as well.
"Oh my God. I am so sorry! I am really sorry." She was apologetic while the man kneeled and collected the papers in the folder. He stood and handed the folder over to her.
While she stood there intimitaded by his killer looks.
"Here you go." He said as his eyes met hers.
He was quite tall probably more than 6 feet and incredibly handsome. With sharp features and a moustache. He had dark blue piercing eyes with a brown speck in the left one. She had never seen a moustache looked great on a man before. She was beautiful too but It was like she was lost in him.

"Hello!" His voice echoed while he snaps his fingers infront of her face.
"Oh! I am really sorry I didn't see you." She suddenly came out of her daze.
"Its ok. The coffee spilled more on you than me." He said and took off his coat. He brushed the unabsorbed coffee off the fabric of his coat. He was right. The coffee had spilled only on his coat and the rest of his clothes were fine.
"My badluck. I am here for my interview and then this happened." She looked at her clothes.
"Don't worry. The ladies room is over there." He pointed behind her.
"Thankyou!" She said.
"I am August Walker by the way." He extended his hand to shake.
She took his hand. Her tiny hand vanished into his big muscular fist. He was quite intimidating.
"Nice to meet you Mr Walker." She smiled.
"Nice to meet you too. I have to go now. See you later." He smiled and turned around to go. His smile was contagious and she blushed.
She recognized him. He was the man from the elevator.
"Shit! He works here. Natasha! What have you done you stupid girl." She thought to herself and went to the ladies room to clean herself up.
It was a headache for her to stand infront of the sink trying to clean herself up. It was a huge coffee stain on her white dress shirt. Her shirt became wet and she had to close all the buttons of her coat to hide it.
"Shit! Its your bad day. You are done." She talked to herself.
She went to the waiting room again. All her mood and her morale was down because of that incident.
After 15 minutes a girl came to the waiting room and called her name.
Natasha followed her to the office where her interview was going to take place. Her feet came to halt as she reached the door and the girl turned the knob for her.
The door swung open revealing a middle aged black woman sitting on the revolving chair in the office. The name slab of "Erica Sloane" was placed on the table. She was probably the boss. But she wasn't the only one there.
There was a man sitting infront of her across the table. He turned around, smiled at her and she was frozen in her steps.
He was August Walker.
She felt miserable and embarrassed. She couldn't muster the courage to step further.
"Come in!". Sloan's voice echoed.
Natasha came out from her trance like state. She smiled and went inside.
"Have a seat." Sloane said.
Natasha pulled a chair placed beside August and sat there.
She noticed his eyes glued on her. It was really awkward for her but she brushed it away.
"Miss Natasha White. Am I right?" Sloane asked.
"Yes ma'am." She replied.
"Why do you want to join CIA?" She asked in a friendly manner. Her hands laced up and placed on her lap.
"Because I think I am suitable for this job." She replied confidently.
"And what makes you suitable for this job?" She asked.
"I am really interested in studying and evaluating criminal minds. I am fond of solving mysteries and I am a black belt in martial arts too." She confidently replied ignoring the fact that Walker's eyes were still glued on her face.
"Hmm! I see. You passed the written test. Leave your resume here. We'll get through your resume later and I will call you if I think I need you." Sloane replied.
"Ok ma'am." She nodded.
"It was nice meeting you." Sloane said.
Natasha rose from her chair thats when she felt free from Walker's gaze. She turned around to leave. As she closed the door she heard Sloane .
"What do you think Walker?" She asked.
"I think we should give her a chance." He replied.
Natasha smiled to herself and left the office. She was really hopeful.
But August's piercing eyes were bothering her.
"Why was he looking at me all the time?" He thought to herself.

Midthalion Saga
+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.

Once you go Wuxxia you never go back. [Not a Parody but moreso a revised wuxxia.]
Robert Nord wakes up from a deep sleep, one he regreted to ever take. Instead of waking up to his well-known, stark, eggshell-white ceiling, atop his luxurious 800€ mattress with down feather duvet and fluffy cushions, he finds himself staring at molden planks of wood, a stench of sweat, blood and iron mellowing in the air. A world of swords that sunder oceans and fists that crack mountainsides. This is a world known throughout the dimensions, a world of wuxxia and xianxia. (This fiction will be parodying many a wuxxia and hopefully do a good job with it. Not only will I try and stress the most ridiculous down-sides of wuxxias but I will also take a shot at making it enjoyable while I'm at it. And don't be fooled by the Lit-RPG tag, after all, every MC needs his secret weapon, regardless how much they try to deny it.)
