When my friends left with Blake to the city I went to library hoping that I will find some answers. When I arrived I saw rest of Blake's team sitting around a table playing some kind of board game. Ruby then noticed me.

Ruby: "Hey Noelle.."

Noelle: "Hey girls, don't mind me I'm just going to look for something to read."

Yang: "Alright. Weiss your turn."

Weiss: "Prepare to lose Xiao Long."

Yang: "Oh you're on."

I left their sight and continued searching. After going through countless of bookshelves I was met by team JNPR.

Pyrrha: "Hello again Noelle."

Noelle: "Hello Pyrrha."

Ren: "Can we help you?"

Noelle: "Actually yes. I'm looking for a book about Remnant being connected with other worlds."

Jaune: "Can we ask why?"

Noelle: "Isn't it obvious? We want to return home."

Nora: "You must miss Mondstadt dearly."

Noelle: "Not only Mondstadt but Teyvat in general."

???: "But this world isn't bad if I can say." We looked around and saw Lisa holding a pile of books. I noticed that one of them had title 'Ninjas of Love'.

Noelle: "Oh hey Lisa where are you going with these books."

Lisa: "Some students left them on tables so I'm returning them to their places."

Noelle: "I didn't know they have section with smut."

Lisa: "Oh that's my personal book."

Pyrrha: "Isn't 'Ninjas of Love' one of the books Blake reads?"

Jaune: "Yeah but the content is for someone with strong will." We all looked at him shocked. "What? She left it open on a table once so I had a look."

Nora: "Wait, Blake is reading smut?"

Ren: "Not so loud Nora. I'm sure she wants to keep it a secret."

Noelle: "How did you get that book Lisa?"

Lisa: "Well as librarian I get to be paid with Lien here so I bought it."

Pyrrha: "I'm sure Lisa can help you with your search Noelle. Let's go guys." They left and I looked at Lisa.

Noelle: "Why did you buy such a book?"

Lisa: "So when I see Y/N I can ask him to make a scene from it with me~"

That made me irritated. She knew very well Y/N and Amber have a crush on one another and still she kept flirting or even seducing Y/N.

Noelle: "Lisa you very well know he has crush on Amber. Why do you keep trying?"

Lisa: "Because if such a cutie like him will take too long to confess I'm not going to hesitate to make him mine."

Noelle: "Lisa....! He will confess soon. I can feel it." I know I shouldn't be forcing them to confess but it seems that I have to force Y/N at least to ask her out.

Lisa: "Now Noelle. How do you know about that book."

Noelle: "Before we got to Beacon we were living in an old building. Amber found it there and started to read it. Not only she told us what's it about but she also wanted to burn it."

Lisa: "It seems I have to hide it from her. Anyways let's get looking for the book you were looking for."

We searched more through the library. After an hour when we couldn't find anything we asked team RW*Y and Velvet who just arrived for help. The result was.... nothing. There was absolutly no book about connetction between Remnant and other worlds.

I gave up searching and started to think there was no way back.

Noelle: "I'll go back-" I couldn't finish as there was annoumcement heard.

Announcement: "Would Ms. Noelle and librarian Lisa come to Ozpin's office."

Lisa: "I guess we should go."

Noelle: "Let's see what they want us for. Do you know the directions?"

Lisa: "Follow me." I followed Lisa to the ascending thing and entered it with her. After a while of ascending we reached the top. The doors opened.

Ozpin: "Oh you finally arrived."

Noelle: "What do you want from us?"

Ozpin: "One of our hunters came across some strange looking grimm. He tried to fight him but the grimm was too strong. He had to retreat."

Lisa: "And what do we have to do with this?"

Ozpin: "Maybe you can recognize it." He put a paper on the table and we came closer. What we saw made our eyes wide. It was a picture. On this picture there was a Ruin Guardian but something strange happened to it. Instead of his typical wooden parts there was a pitch black skin, bones instead it's mechanisms and the light from his "face" was red.

Noelle: N-N-No way. It can't be."

Lisa: "But how?"

Ozpin: "So you recognize it."

Noelle: "That thing is called Ruin Guardian but it's... you call those creatures grimm?" He nodded. "... well it's grimmified."

Ozpin: "Grimmified?"

Lisa: "Yes. On Teyvat Ruin Guardians are made out of wood though noone knows who and why did they make it."

Ozpin: "Hmm... since it's grimmified as you say why don't we call it Grimm Guardian."

Noelle: "It's up to you how you call it. I'm wondering about how it got here and how is it grimmified."

Ozpin: "Is this Ruin Guardian dangerous?"

Lisa: "Hard to kill without ranged attacks."

Ozpin: "Why is that?"

Lisa: "You see the red light on it's head?" He nodded. "There's also one on it's back. That's their weak spot. If you hit it twice in a very short time it's disabled for some time."

Ozpin: "Well then. It seems your team will go on your first mission as huntsman and huntresses in training along with Lisa. Please tell your teammates when they return from Vale."

Noelle: "Yes! Wait a minute..... how do you know they're in the city?"

Ozpin: "Everyone has secrets Ms. Noelle." That's totally not creepy.

Lisa: "There's no time to lose time. We gotta tell others."

Noelle: "Right." We left the office and got to my dorm room. "Now we have to just wait."

Lisa: "I heard there's this device called Scroll. It allows you to speak with people far away from you. We can ask some of the girls in RWBY to call Blake."

Noelle: "How do you know she's with them?"

Lisa: "First of all she's a bookworm and secondly I didn't see her with her team. Plus where else should she be. She's with her crush after all.

Noelle: "Now only friend."

Lisa: "What?"

Noelle: "You see she confessed to him but he rejected her. Now they are friends."

Lisa: "Oh I see. Well let's go." We left my dorm and went to team RWBY's dorm. Lisa knocked and after a while Yang opened them.

Yang: "Hey Noelle.... do you want something?"

Noelle: "Can you call Blake?"

Yang: "She's not here right now."

Lisa: "She meant on your Scroll."

Yang: "Oh yeah sure." She pulled out white rectangular like device out of her pockets that extended. The space between the white parts was transparent light blue. After a while she spoke. "Hey Blake... no nothing's wrong....... Noelle wanted me to call you." She then gave the device to me. "Just put it to your ear and speak."

I nodded and took it.

Noelle: "Hello Blake."

Blake: "Hey Noelle. What do you need?"

Noelle: "Can you somehow make this device so others can hear it?"

Blake: "Yeah..... guys Noelle is calling."

A*FB + You: "Hey Noelle. How's the research?"

Noelle: "Nothing much but Ozpin called me and Lisa to his office because one of his hunters found a new grimm."

Amber: "And what should we do with it?"

Noelle: "Well.... the grimm is somehow grimmified Ruin Guardian."

A*FB + **BY + You: "What?"

Blake: "What do you mean grimmified?"

Barbara: "On Teyvat Ruin Guardians are made out of wood that for some reason can't burn...."

Noelle: "..... but the Ruin Guardian Ozpin showed us was black with bones same as those grimms are."

Blake: "That means.... it must be more dangerous."

Noelle: "Yeah and he gave us and Lisa a mission to kill it."

Fischl: "For some reason I'm not surprised."

Blake: "When are you leaving?"

Noelle: "As soon as you return."

You: "We're on our way back right now."

Blake: "You should wait for us at the landing pads."

Noelle: "Will do. Bye."

A*FB + Blake + You: "Bye." I gave this Scroll to Yang and noticed Ruby standing next to her.

Ruby: "You have a mission?" She pouted. "No fair."

Yang: "Come on Ruby we will go on another mission soon too."

Ruby: "But..... but new grimm.."

Yang: "Ruby.... soon." Ruby sighed.

Ruby: "Fine.."

Lisa: "So what now?"

???: "Team RWBY can accompany you on your mission." We looked around and saw Ozpin there.

Ruby: "Really?" He nodded. "WEISS WE HAVE MISSION!!!" We heard a pencil dropped on the ground.

Weiss: "But my studies."

Yang: "You don't need them Ice Queen. Come on let's wait for them at the landing pads." We nodded and waited for them. After a while we were going to the landing pads where we waited.

Then one of those steel birds landed and my friends along with Blake came out.

Blake: "Good luck on your mission."

Ruby: "You need it as well because we're going with them."

Blake: "Does Ozpin know about it?"

Yang: "He told us to accompany them."

Blake: "Well... let's wait then."

We waited at the landing pads for our second bullhead.

Barbara: "So where exactly is it?"

Lisa: "No idea." Then a ring was heard. Ruby reached to her pocket and pulled a Scroll as Blake called it on our way back out. She looked at it.

Ruby: "Ozpin just sent me coordinations of this Ruin Guardian's location where it was last seen."

Weiss: "And that is?"

Ruby: "M-Mountain G-Glenn."

Yang: "Not there."

Fischl: "Why not?"

Blake: "Well first of all that area is infested by grimm... secondly we had a mission there.... I'd rather not get to details."

Amber: "Did something bad happen?"

Weiss: "Well..... almost."

You: I guess the mission was succes so that's all that matters."

Ruby: "Y/N's right girls. Let's not think about that mission and focus on this one instead." Then a bullhead, this time it was larger landed. We got on and Ruby went to the guy who controled it.

Control guy: "Where to?" She showed him her Scroll and he nodded. The bullhead then took off.

Blake: "Can you tell us how Ruin Guardian's attack?"

You: "They are always alone though there is one place in Liyue where you can find 4 at the same time...."

Amber: "The best way to destroy them is with ranged attacks...."

Fischl: "There are two weak spots glowing orange. One on it's head and one on it's back...."

Lisa: "The glow is red now.. Now attacks. It's attacking with it's hands mostly. Swinging them twice and then jumping on the place you are..."

Noelle: "Or it starts spinning making a whirl. It's better to keep distance. You can try to shoot it's weak spot but the chance is low...."

Barbara: "If you get too close to it it will try to stomp you to the ground..."

You: "And lastly it also has one ranged attack. If it turns it's back towads you homing missiles will be after you. Though homing only for a second or two."

Ruby: "You sure know how to fight it."

Amber: "Well it's a machine from Teyvat after all."

Weiss: "Is it difficult to destroy it?"

Lisa: "No. If you hit it twice to their weak spot in a short time it will disable and collapse on the ground for some time."

Control guy: "We're almost there. Get ready to jump."

You: "A chance to glide? Oh yeah."

Amber: "Count me in. I'll never miss such opportunity."

R*BY: "I wanna try!!"

You + Amber: "Sorry. No gliding license means no gliding." We both looked at each orher and I saw pink on Amber's cheeks while I felt my own heat up slightly as well.

Control guy: "Jump!!!"

The doors opened and we jumped. Me and Amber started to glide together once again. I always enjoyed gliding but with Amber it's much better. After we landed Weiss spoke.

Weiss: "Let's get hunting."

Yang: "Was that a pun? You know since we're HUNTers..." We all groand at Yang's stupid joke.

Ruby: "Yang, your puns are the worst."

You: "Yeah Yang. I mean I know you only for a while but why do you have to be so punny?"

Weiss: "Please stop encouraging her."

Blake: "Ugh... guys the guardian?"

We listened to Blake and got on our way. We were walking through a destroyed city.

Amber: "What happened here?"

Ruby: "Grimm. A lot of them."

Weiss: "Yes. This place was Vale's first serious expansion. At first it was okay but then grimm attacked and people living here had to move underground."

Lisa: "Underground?"

Blake: "Yes. There is an underground city right below our feet."

Ruby: "But that wasn't enough so people had to leave it too. They ran to Vale and the entrance to Mountain Glenn was sealed."

Weiss: "Look who learned something."

Ruby: "I know I'm smart."

Suddenly as we were walking we heard some movements in front of us. Barbara stopped us.

Barbara: "Did you hear that?"

Yang: "Finally! An action."

Fischl: "Be on guard guys. It might be our Ruin Guardian."

You: "Fischl can you send Oz to have a look at whatever is in front of us?"

Fischl: "Sure thing Y/N. Oz reveal yourself." He appeared in front of us. "Go look what's in front of us."

Oz: "As you wish mein fräulein" He then flew off to the front while we waited.

Ruby: "How did he get that name..... Oz"

You: "Fischl gave it to him because she read it in her favourite novel."

Oz returned to us.

Oz: " There is the Ruin Guardian we are looking for. He cornered someone in white cloak." Both Ruby and Yang gasped at that.

Noelle: "Alright. Lead the way Oz." We followed Oz to the Guardian and indeed saw someone in white cloak slowly standing up but stumbled back to the ground.

Blake: "We gotta help her or him."

Yang: "It can't be.... m-m-mom?"

Amber: Go go Baron Bunny." she threw him towards the guardian.

You: "Barbara when we get it's attention go to that cloaked person and heal them."

Noelle: "Nice and clean." Geo shield surrounded us.

You: "Ice shower." Ice spear appeared in my hand

Fischl: "I summon thee." Oz appeared yet again

Lisa: "Don't enjoy this too much~" A lightning ball appeared in her hand.

Ruby: "Y/N said it has weak spot on it's head.... girls shoot it!!!"

Team RWBY shot it to it's head gaining it's attention but it was redirected once it saw Barron Bunny. We rushed to it and started to attack it. Noelle slashed at it. Amber and Fischl were shooting flaming and electric arrows towards it and I was swinging with my spear at it.

The Barron Bunny exploded and then the Ruin Guardian jumped towards me. I luckily dodged but when it landed not only I heard a scream but also saw some black goo on the ground. More and more grimm comming out of it.

Weiss: "Grimm incoming."

Blake: "Let's kill them." I looked over to the one who screamed and saw Amber slowly standing up. I quickly rushed to her. Meanwhile Lisa was shooting Electro orbs towards the incoming grimm.

You: "Amber are you okay?"

Amber: "I-I'm fine Y/N y-you don't have to worry."

Ruby: "Y/N take care of Amber we have this under control."

Noelle: "I NEED SOME HELP HERE!!"

Fischl: "BLACK NIGHT FALL COME SEVEN NIGHTS TO DAY." I saw her turn into an Electro hawk as she flew towards Noelle who just somehow blocked a strike from that Ruin Guardian.

Barbara: "Let the show begin..." Notes surrounded us all.

Yang: "What are those notes doing?"

Barabara: "They are healing you."

Me and Amber were looking at the fight as she used me as a support though the notes healed her but I didn't mind.

You: "RWBY, Lisa focus on the grimm only. Noelle, Fischl you know what to do."

Blake: "Let's get this over with already."

Ruby" Freezerburn."

Weiss made an ice on the ground and Yang punched it making a fog. With Lisa's Vision it became electrical.

Weiss: "Ice flower?"

Ruby: "Yes and Bumblebee."

Ruby changed her weapon to some kind of ranged weapon and some snowflake in a circle appeared in front of it. She shot something like ice shards. Meanwhile Blake threw her weapon to Yang who caught it and Blake started to spin around while Yang kept punching every grimm that got to her way.

On the other side of battlefield Noelle and Fischl were fighting against our target. Geo shield surrounding them and Oz shooting Electro orbs towards their enemy.

Noelle: "Y/N we need your Anemo."

You: "Amber can you stand on your own?" She nodded. I got to Fischl and Noelle. I created a wind current and we all spreaded our gliding wings that got us into the air.

Noelle: "TIME TO CLEAN UP!" Her sword got longer as she started to fall down rapidly. She was so fast her sword decapitated one of the Guardian's hands.

Fischl: "Electric spear?"

You: "Yep."

You + Fischl: "ELECTRIC SPEAR!!!"

I sent an ice spear towards the grimmified Ruin Guardian. While it was in the air she shot it with her arrow that was made out of pure electricity making my spear superconducted. It hit our enemy right to the head. It made the Guardian fall to the ground disabled. Now we were slashing at it until it disappeared to nothingness.

Noelle: "Is it over?"

You: "Yes." We turned around and saw those grimms dissolving and the girls standing there still with their weapons drawn.

Blake: "The grimms won't stop comming from the pool." Suddenly a bright white light was everywhere. When it died down we saw the pools petrified same goes for the grimm.

Barbara: "How did you-" we turned around and saw that white cloacked person revealing hersolf to be a lady looking like Ruby standing there but I still could see the pain in her eyes. She was looking at Ruby and Yang mostly. When she spoke her voice was weak.

???: "R-R-Ruby, Y-Yang...." Then she passed out.

R**Y: "MOM!!!" They rushed to her to check if she's okay.
