《Kantai Collection: Two Front War》Not So Friendly Fire

Today was a watchful kind of day as the admirals and the Kongou sisters found themselves out on the docks simply admiring the calm sea, for it probably wouldn't be very calm for long.
"Maybe when the warring is all over, we can take a little more time to just do this." Jack says to Kongou as they sit on the edge, letting their legs idly sway around and occasionally brush against one another. "Just admire the peace that we have helped bring."
"I wish we could." Kongou replies as Jack slings an arm around her shoulder and she rests her head on his. "In this time of war I'm not sure if I could see us growing old together, but at least we can tickle that thought." As the two continue to look out into the glorious sea they are oblivious to the various compliments and teasing from passing seamen and more teasing from Vinh and the others as the outside world simply falls deaf to their ears. Unfortunately this peace doesn't last long as the couple look out into the distance and spot a few familiar looking black specks in the distance.
"I think we have more Abyssal activity." Jack says as he and Kongou stand up and the former gets into his ship.
"Loud and clear." Felicia and Vinh reply as everyone else gets ready for another fight. The four main ships quickly move out alongside the Kongous, and it's not long before the rest of the fleet slowly follows suit, and when they reach the Abyssals a familiar face is picked out.
"Well, if it isn't the admiral!" Miss Lycoris chuckles. "I never thought I'd see you out here!"
"I didn't think I'd see you out here so soon Miss Lycoris." Jack replies. "I still haven't quite gotten over what you did to me the last time we fought, but that's in the past! I'll be the one to chase you out!"

"Over my sunken body!" Miss Lycoris laughs as she looks to the Ru and Ta battleships she's commanding. "Show these girls no mercy!"
"Right!" The Abyssal battleships shout back.
"All cannons! Fire!" Jack and Kongou shout simultaneously as another fight breaks out in the sea, with both sides trading blows. "Tonbo! Kuwaga! Focus fire on the supporting battleships! Hachi, focus fire on the princess!"
"Roger that!" Felicia and Vinh shout back as they begin focusing fire on the Ru-Class while Kirishima and Hiei take on the Ta-Class. Meanwhile Kongou and Haruna take on the princess as she attempts to dodge covering fire from Jack and Felicia. The battle almost looks like it's going to turn in Jack's favor as the Abyssals struggle to find a vantage point- until everyone hears shots coming from a distance.
"Who shot that?" Kongou asks as everyone stops fighting to try and home in on where the shots are coming from.
"My hands are up, yet I can still hear cannon fire." A Ru-Class girl says. "Did you call for reinforcements?"
"If I did, then they would have arrived by now, but this sounds like it's coming from down there..." Miss Lycoris mumbles, but the princess' thoughts are cut off as a salvo of shells strikes Jack's ship, splitting it in half and sending the admiral flying! "WHAT THE?!"
"GAH!!!!" Jack screams as he gets sent flying by the explosion.
"TEITOKU!!!" Kongou screams as she catches him. "What in the world was that?!"
"Oops! Sorry~" A familiar voice calls out as everyone turns to see none other than Bismarck. "I think you were in the way."
"IN THE WAY OF WHAT?! YOUR DIGNITY?!" Jack shouts.
"You shut your mouth! As a matter of fact I'll make you!" Bismarck yells as she fires another salvo, and not being able to react in time, Kongou and Jack take direct hits.

"ARGH!" Kongou and Jack yell.
"HIEEE!!!!"
"KONGOU!"
"BIG SIS!" Kongou's sisters scream as they see gaping holes in Kongou's chest, and she slowly begins sinking!
"Teitoku... I'm scared..." Kongou whimpers as she looks at Jack, who's just barely alive. "I don't want to let go..."
"I... Love you Kongou..." Are Jack's last words as he uses the last of his energy to hug Kongou tight, and she does the same as they sink to the bottom of the sea. Everyone is in absolute shock at what Bismarck had just done- even the Abyssals found themselves struggling to comprehend what insanity must have been going through the battleship's head to murder one of her own kind, along with the very human admiral.
"I... I don't understand..." Miss Lycoris says, realizing she can speak. "What treachery must be going through your mind Bismarck?" But the princess gets no response as Bismarck booked it while everyone was staring in horror.
"The admiral... He's dead..." Felicia says frailly.
"Kongou..." Haruna whispers.
"We are all just as shocked as you are..." Miss Lycoris says as she attempts to recompose herself. "We'll try and locate the bodies and bring them to you for a proper burial... It's the least we Abyssals can do while you mourn..." The Ru-Class next to her nods in agreement.
"We would like that... Thank you..." Felicia replies as both sides head back to their docks.

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…

Forbidden Destiny
Two troubled teens, raised as siblings, try fighting their attraction to one another, while struggling to uncover the truly unexplainable and unimaginable reasons why their entire lives were a lie. Sky and Star were raised as brother and sister. As they got older they began to realize that there was much about them that was completely unexplainable and deliberately being hidden from them. Struggling with the feelings they were raised to believe they shouldn't have for one another, and all the pain that causes them, the two search desperately to uncover the truth about who... or what they really are. (This book is completed, so the plan was to post 1 chapter each day until the end) *This story does deal with difficult issues such as suicide, abuse and rape. Though I try to do so in the most realistic, sensitive and sympathetic way possible. So be advised that these themes are included in the book. And I hope you'll give it a chance nonetheless.* *Yet another disclaimer: Yes, there are teenagers involved in consensual sexual relationships with other teenagers in this book. Which is also a more than common occurence in hundreds of other books, shows and films, (not to mention a common occurence in real life, even though this is a fantasy story with characters who may or may not even be fully human), so if you have a problem with troubled teens behaving like troubled teens, then you probably shouldn't read this book.*

Hero
Kuren is just your average boy. He's just been asleep for one thousand years. Heroes and grand epics. Kuren doesn't have the time to think about things like that, nor does he really care. Join Kuren as he wanders the fantasy land of Alurca in search of his lost memories and the reasons behind his lengthy slumber. This is sort of a reboot of Anomaly, the first novel I tried to write. I gave up Anomaly after going to college. I thought about going back to it, but... when I look at it now, it's not very good. It was very edgy and not much substance behind that edge. The story wasn't quite going anywhere since I hadn't given the main character a goal. I had planned out a story, but I forgot to to plan out the details between the beginning and end. So this one's for real. Hopefully you won't be disappointed.

CEO Garrett Wyland, once a darling of both Silicon Valley and Wall Street, is indicted by a federal Grand Jury for insider trading the day before his company files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
