Jesy hugged the girls tightly as she dropped them at the airport, reminding them she would either drive or hop on a plane up if they needed and support or just anything in general. She held Jade at arms length, smiling softly.
"I know you are nervous, but your Mum would agree that it's about time you visited Shields... Love you, Poopey. Take care of each other."
"Jes, you're sure Jake's sister can handle the horses?"
Jade thanked Perrie silently for changing the topic of conversation, however she knew they needed to be entering the airport if they were going to catch their flight in time. Jes bid them a final farewell as they walked hand in hand into the airport.
It was only 5am. They were due to catch the flight in an hour and would roughly arrive in the Tyneside Airport at 6.45am. It was a warm morning considering it was only mid-May. After an anxious month of conversing back and forth with their social worker, it was agreed that they would spend a week in South Shields having visits with Skyla before allowing her to stay a week with them in their hometown before travelling back down South with them, if everything was successful. Jesy and Leigh were staying at their house in order to ready the room Perrie used to stay in for Skyla. They'd been sent photos of Skyla from a baby to recently and Jade's heart had burst with pride as she looked at a morre tan, brunette version of Perrie. Perrie was incredibly lucky that they were in the position where they could take her in as their own because she was sure someone would have adopted the toddler at any given chance due to her natural beauty.
As they sat on the plane, Jade and Perrie looked at each other, sharing a look of sincerityand love. Perrie caressed the side on Jade's face softly with the palm of her hand, smiling delightfully but nervously at the same time.

"You have no idea what you are doing for me, Jadey... It's probably the most selfless thing I've known anybody to do..."
"Pez... I'd do anything for you, you know that. It's called love, Baba... Anyways, why wouldn't I want a Mini Perrie in my life? I honestly can't wait..."
"Are you nervous about going back?"
"Of course I am... It's been so long..."
"I'm with you every step of the way..."
"I know it'll be alright... I just might get a little emotional."
"Then I'll be right by your side, Poopey..."
"Pez... We're going to be Mammies... Together."
"Do you think she'll know who we really are?"
"Three is a young age, I doubt it... We'll see though right?"

The two women had spent their first few days back in their hometown letting Jade adjust to her surroundings after such an emotional return. The first day back had been spent at her mother's place of rest, The Angel Of The North. She'd cried in Perrie's arms, sobbed her heart out. They'd then visited Jade's family before spending the next day doing the rounds with Perrie's family, settling into her old room at her Grandmother's house where they'd reside until they headed back South.
It'd been a quick few days and soon they were finding themselves at a beautiful house near the seaside. A care home for children waiting to be either fostered or adopted. They were ushered in from the breezy weather, being introduced to Penny, their social worker/Skyla's social worker as well as Fin, the main foster carer for the children at the home. They were settled into a large room with toys and comfy seating, a cup of tea each on the coffee table as they shed their jackets and cupped each other's hands nervously. Penny smiled as she sat down opposite them.
"So... Skyla loved your book you made her so she would get to know you before today... She actually seems to believe that Jade, you're her Mama... She says your hair is the same colour and she has the same tan skin as you."

"Well, she kind of does I guess... Should we let her believe Jade is?"
"She knows neither of you are her bio mother. However she still insists on Jade being 'Mama'. Obviously she's acknowledged that you are Mammy, Perrie too, she- Oh look... Hey Skyla."
Jade let out a little gasp of air as a small girl walked through the door, beaming a smile just like Perrie's. She smiled wide at Perrie, noticing how she had let a few tears slip out, smiling at the small human being that had walked through the door, gripping Fin's hand as she played with her hair, a little nervous. She let go of Fin's hand, walking to the two women.
"Mammy! Mama, you came for me!"
Perrie nodded and opened her arms, letting the child climb into them and place her tiny hands on the blonde's cheeks lovingly.
"Mammy... You're crying... Why you crying Mammy?"
"Because Skyla, Mammy is SO happy to see you... Mama and I have been waiting for today for like, ever. We love you so much..."
Skyla wiped Perrie's tears away and kissed the tip of her nose before sucking her thumb gently as Perrie held her close, the two of them sharing a moment. Perrie saw herself in her biological sister, but she could see the reasons to why Skyla had thought Jade was her biological mother. They had similar traits, especially when it came to their hair, skin and eye colour. Jade watched from the side, getting a preview of their future as Perrie cuddled the child that they'd from now on call their daughter. She smiled faintly to herself, only to be caught by the two girls. Skyla giggled and climbed onto Jade's lap, laying her head on her chest.
"Hi Baby Girl..."
"Mama..."
Skyla played with the buttons on Jade's checked shirt before reaching out for her golden, chocolate locks that fell past Jade's breasts and rested on the shirt. She twirled it between her fingers before sitting up and snuggling into her neck. Jade giggled slightly and Skyla copied.
"Skyla... Did you want to do anything with your new Mammy and Mama?"
Penny looked over at the three of them and could tell it was going to be a happy ending/beginning for them. The toddler shook her head and snuggled further into Jade, reaching for Perrie's arm as she set it round the two girls, kissing Jade's cheek softly.
"I'm going to give you a few hours together alone. We'll be about in the house is you need us. She is due to go down for a nap, which could be the reasoning for not wanting to do anything..."
Penny smiled at the women and Jade nodded to her, Perrie thanking her verabally before the social worker shut the door as she left the room.
"Mammy? Can you sing?"
"You want me to sing?"
Perrie felt her cheeks go a slight shade of pink. Both women had heard the other singing to themselves before but neither had openly sang to the other or in the presence of the other yet so it came as a surprise to both of them as Jade lovingly smirked at her Blonde beauty.
"Are you tired, Skyla?"
The toddler nodded against Jade as she played with the child's soft hair. Perrie giggled slightly at how overwhelming it all was, sighing softly.
"Close your eyes Baby and Mammy will sing to you..."
Jade placed a soft kiss on her forehead and then on Perrie's kips as the toddler's eyes closed on them.
"Heart beats fast... Colours and promises... How to be brave... How can I love when I'm afraid to fall... But watching you stand alone, All of my doubt, suddenly go away somehow..."
"One step closer..."
The two women looked into each other's eyes as Jade joined in on the harmonious moment of a lifetime. They were lulling their daughter to sleep as she snuggled in their arms.
It was surreal.
Emotional.
But Perfect.
Indescribable.

How will the world fair when no one even knows its doom is one barred gate away? Fortunately, the traitor has a plan. Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
