《Namasté (Jerrie)》Chapter 3

It took a total of 5 days for Jade to find her perfect home. She'd opted out of having an apartment when she'd come across a modern farmhouse with 10 acres of land, including a hot tub and a home cinema room, that she thought would be perfect to watch all her Disney favourites - plus more. She'd no problem with affording the place and moving in had been no trouble with the help of Jesy, Jake and Leigh. It was the beginning of February and Jade had fully swung back to herself, before he'd manipulated her. She was on top form and felt amazing because of it. She'd decided to cook for the girls in order to say thank you to them for all they'd done for her. They'd just finished eating a hearty lasagne and had moved to the living room, each with a glass of wine in hand.

"Leigh, what's on your mind?" Jesy asked as she sipped her wine. Leigh chewed at her bottom lip and frowned.

"Sorry girlies. I was just thinking about my friend. She's moving down from South Shields, she asked me to keep an eye out for cheap places to rent because she won't be starting work until a month after she gets here... She's meant to be here in 3 days and she still hasn't got a place."

Jade frowned slightly, looking at both the girls before smiling sweetly as she scrunched up her nose.

"She can stay here, I have the room. It'd be no problem."

"Jade-"

"Leigh she can stay here, okay? Rent free. She can just help me out when I need her to. I have four spare bedrooms. Call it my good deed for the year." Jade smiled, proud of herself.

Jesy giggled and winked at Jade because giving Leigh a look as if to say 'don't argue this one, you won't win'.

"Call her, now. Let her know!" Jesy emphasised as she gulped down a large portion of the wine in her glass.

Leigh rolled her eyes at how Jesy had become tipsy quite easily, making Jade giggle at the antics.

3 days passed quick and Jade passed them by ensuring the largest out of the four spare bedrooms was ready for Leigh's friend, as well as cutting more keys to the place and filling the kitchen with foods that Leigh had mentioned she'd liked.

"Hey Poops, just round the corner from yours. Open the gate! - Lee-Lee xx"

Jade smiled nervously and switched to the app on her phone, opening the electric gate that created so much privacy for her. She had car sensors on order for Jesy, Leigh and her friend. It meant she wouldn't have to open the gate on her phone for them - they could simply drive up to the gate and the car sensor would open it.

She ran her hands through her hair as two cars pulled into the drive, stopping near the garage. She pulled her cardi closer round her and popped on her slipper boots as she opened the front door, gasping inwardly at the blonde beauty standing before her. She blushed profusely as Leigh's friend smiled sweetly at her, almost wearing a cocky grin. Leigh rolled her eyes at the interaction between her two friends.

"Jade this is Perrie. Perrie this is Jade. Hey girls I have to leave... I'm needed at Badwi's. Specials menu and all that."

Jade and Perrie boy turned toward Leigh and smiled at her, telling her goodbye before Jade started to help Perrie get her stuff in the house and settled in. She took her on a tour of the house before they landed in the kitchen for a midweek roast dinner that Jade had been cooking for the best part of the afternoon.

"So Jeed-"

"You make me miss South Shields Perrie..." Jade pouted sweetly before realising she'd interrupted the blue eyed blonde.

"You're from South Shields? Leigh never said..."

"I grew up there... With my Mam. I used to come here every Summer to stay with my Dad. He lives next to Leigh's parents and our friend Jesy's parents. My Mam got sick when I was 15 and passed away... I moved in with my Dad... I haven't been up since..." She bit her lip and sighed, spinning to face away from Perrie as she realised she'd talked too much, letting Perrie know part of her that she still hadn't come to terms with. She busied herself with checking the pork in the oven and turning the apples stewing in the saucepan off.

"My Dad died when I was 11... He um... died saving me... He was driving me home from my guitar lesson and some drunk dick tossed us into a ditch... My seatbelt was stuck... He cut me out with his pocket knife and told me to take my guitar and wait for him ten feet away... Next thing I knew I was watching the car blow up..."

Jade gulped as she turned back to Perrie, Not a tear had been shed between them but she knew they'd wanted to. She smiled at her softly.

"Ya know Pez, normal people share these important factors of their lives months into a friendship..."

"Well I've got a feeling we aren't normal and we're going to be fast friends, Jade... Now, you want me to do anything for tea?"

"Don't be so silly. You've been driving for hours. What ya can do is open the fridge and share the half a bottle of wine in there between us. Glasses are in the cupboard to the left of me." Jade winked at Perrie and in return she heard Perrie chuckle to herself.
