Arizona takes my hands into her's and continues starring at me

"What?" I ask a little laugh falling from my mouth as I ask

"nothing, just you're beautiful and I can't help but wonder if this whole thing is too good to be true"

Now Arizona has a sort of sad glaze over her bright blue eyes

"hey, hey, hey, no, this is not too good to be true, this is happening, me and you. You told me you fought for me, and you stayed alive for me, and i'm never ever gonna let you go. You're stuck with me now my love" I say with a little wink

"Calliope?"

"yes?" I answer

Arizona POV;

"Calliope?" I ask

"Yes?" she answers

before I can say anything else our meals come to the table and I just tell her to forget about it, it can wait till later.

What she doesn't know is that I was about to tell her I love her, and we still have yet to say that to each other and that was a perfect time to say it, but the waitress had to ruin the moment and bring our food. Callie looks at me confusion in her eyes. I think she's trying to figure out what I was going to say.

Callie and I eat our lunch and talk about everything, we get the check and then we pay and leave.

As we walk out the restaurant I intertwine our fingers together, we get to the car and she asks me what I want to do, and I ask her to go bowling.

"You wanna go bowling?"

"Yes Calliope"

She rolls her eyes and drives us to the bowling alley, I'm pretty sure she really didn't wanna go bowling.

Callie POV;

I hate bowling. There's germs and so many people and its just terrible, but Arizona wanted to go and I'll do anything for her. So bowling it is.

We get inside the bowling alley and get a lane and start our bowling.

"you're amazing at this" I say looking at my score compared to Arizona's

"you could say that" she winked at me

We finish up our bowling and then Arizona notices the arcade in the other room.

"Can we goooooo pleaseeee" she says grabbing my hand

I laugh and we walk over there

Arizona is such a child, but she's my child. I really do love this woman.

I am planning a nice romantic night for us because I am planning on telling her I love her tonight and I want it to be a romantic time not just some random place. I know she likes the fair so I'm probably gonna take her there.

"Calliope" Arizona snaps me out of my thought

"yes love"

"what are you thinking about?"

"nothing, just you" I say and pull her into a tight hug

Arizona POV;

Callie was thinking about something just now and I want to know what it was. I have a feeling I know what she's thinking about but I don't want to say incase i'm wrong.

I finish up playing the games I want to play and we pay and leave and go back to Callie's place.

Calliope's house is huge. I'm in awe as we pull up to her house

"are you a millionaire or?"

she laughs and says

"no, but my parents are, and they are the people who bought me this house"

it's crazy big, like huge. I can't wait to go inside. I can't stop thinking about what the inside looks like and how big the rooms are. How big her bedroom is. I wonder if she has any animals.

"Arizona!"

I am snapped out of my thought as I hear her yell my name

"are you coming or what?" she says a hand stretched out for me to take.

"Oh, and I should mention I have 3 dogs, I hope you don't mind"

"no! I LOVE dogs!"

She opens the door and I am shocked. I thought the outside was big and then she opened that door and the inside is massive.

"you're such a child" she chuckles and then she takes my hand and shows me around her mansion. I want to live here. I can imagine living with her and having kids here someday and maybe some more animals and I can imagine growing old with her in this house.

Callie POV;

Arizona has not stopped smiling since she stepped foot in my house.

God she's cute. I am so in love with her. I can really imagine us in this house together. Having kids, maybe a few more animals, I can imagine growing old with her in this house. I mean I am going to wait a while to ask her to move in because I don't want to rush things. I really do love Arizona and I don't want to scare her off.

I take her hand and lead her around the house. Showing her bathrooms and bedrooms and my swimming pool and everything else I have to offer in my house. We pass a room in my house that I call the ballroom. It's the place where I would dance if I had someone to dance with, and well now I have someone to dance with, so I figured we'd test it out. I lead her into the ballroom and walk over to the radio thats in there. I turn it on and it's playing the song "secret love song" by little mix. This song has become such a huge part of my life. My mom and dad don't approve of my life style. I haven't even talked about my parents have I? Well, my dads name is Carlos, and my moms name is Maria. They are the people that bought be this huge mansion I live in. I'm surprised I still have this house really, when I told them about what I was, and who I am, and who I love they were not okay with it. They pretty much disowned me. They told me they would let me keep the house, i really don't know why, but i'm thankful they let me keep it. But anyways, thats enough about my parents. Lets get back to more important stuff like Arizona and dancing.

I extend my hand to her and she looks at me with confusion in her eyes.

"come on" I say my hand still extended

"no, no Callie I don't dance" she says looking into my eyes

"for me?" I ask "please" I say looking at her with reassurance.

"I don't know how to dance Calliope" she says taking my hand

"so, i'll teach you" I say smiling at her.

I place her hands on my waist and I place my hands around her neck and guide her through the slow moves. Secret Love Song is still playing in the background as Arizona stares into my eyes and I stare into hers. It get's to the part where Jesy sings her high note, you know the i'm yours note? Well, Arizona throughout the song had been inching closer and closer to me until she was pretty much on top of me. Her head was on my chest and her hands were still on my waist and she looked up at me after the big long note was over and slowly kissed me. Not a long one, but a simple, cute one.

"Calliope?" The way she says my name makes my heart melt

"Yes darling" I say looking into her beautiful blue eyes

"I love you"

Arizona POV;

Oh no, I just told Callie I love her. I just I got caught up in the moment and just it slipped out.

Of course I meant it but what if it's too early? What if she doesn't say it back? I can't help but think of all these what if's and as I'm caught up in my own thoughts Callie must have said something because the next thing I hear is

"did you hear me?"

"yeah, mhm" I lie looking into her eyes with worry in mine

"What did I say then?"

She caught me.

"Um well you see I kind of wasn't really listening because I'm a little worried and scared and please don't leave"

Callie was taken back at the things I just said

"What?" she was clearly very confused

"I just told you I love you, and yes I meant it but I'm worried it was to late and I'm worried you don't love me back and you're gonna leave and like you are important and I-" I'm cut off in the middle of my tangent by soft tender lips on mine.

I take my hands off her waist and place them on either side of her face as we continue to explore each other's mouths. We slowly pull apart and she looks back into my eyes.

"I love you too" She smiles softly

Callie POV;

Arizona just told me she loved me and it was in the cutest way and then she went off on some tangent about me leaving. Where that came from I have no idea but I shut her up the only way I know how, I kissed her, and then told her I love her too. I'd be crazy not to say it back because I really do love her. You know from that moment on we decided that Secret love song was now 'our song' because it was the one we said our first I love you's during.

"You don't ever need to worry about me leaving, or me not saying it back or anything like that. I am never going to just up and leave you. I love you to much to do that to you. You are a huge part of my life and i'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with me forever. I hope you don't plan on ever leaving me."

Arizona POV

"Of course not sweetheart. I'm yours, I'm not going anywhere" I say

"Calliope, thank you. I'm not so sure how I got so lucky with you. I don't know what I did to deserve someone as amazing and sweet and caring and loving as you. You are the light at the end of a dark tunnel. You are my sunshine in the midst of a storm. You are everything to me, and I'd be lost without you. I believe it was destiny that put you as my doctor and surgeon the day of my accident, and I couldn't be more thankful that I got you as my doctor because look where we are now." I must have been crying because Calliope wipes away tears I did not know were there.

She didn't say anything, she just pulled me into a tight hug and we continued to dance to the song that we decided that day was 'our song'
