"Oh my god, show it to me already!" I stated.
"Can you not take so much of time?" I spoke again, very irritated this time.
I shook the pregnancy kit a few times, before the result came.
Two red lines.
Oh my god.
I'm pregnant.
OH MY GOD, I'M PREGNANT.
"Oh my god!" I shouted, excitedly, with a huge grin on my face.
"I'm going to become a mom. Oh my god." I giggled, keeping a hand on my stomach.
I walked out of the washroom and into the kitchen.
Rahul was still at his practice session and would be back at around 8 or 9, and it was still 6.
I decided to cook to kill time.
Picking my phone up from the couch, I also ordered a cake, instructing them on how exactly I want it to be decorated.
A chocolate truffle cake, with a pregnant stomach shown on the cake and 'coming soon' written on it.
I can't wait to tell Rahul.
He's going to be so happy.
We've been married for almost 3 years now, and I think it's the right time to welcome our baby. I've seen Rahul play with Ziva, Gracia, Zoravar and Samaira, and he's just so happy with them. I can actually picture him playing with our child.
A blush crept on my face.
Shaking my head, I walked into the kitchen to prepare dinner.
"Hmm.. let's make egg biryani and, uhm- broccoli manchurian. Okay, sounds good, I guess." I said, talking to myself.
I got the ingredients and started chopping the vegetables.
Almost forty-five minutes later, the doorbell rang.
My cake was here!
The man handed the cake, and I paid him.
I opened the box to see the cake.
It was just like how I wanted it to be.
With a smile on my face, I clicked a picture of the cake, and then kept it in the fridge and got back to preparing dinner.

Just as I finished setting up the dining table, the doorbell rang.
I opened the door, and a very tired Rahul walked in.
I closed the door behind him.
The minute I turned around, his lips landed on mine, pushing me against the wall gently.
"I cannot get used to your lips whatsoever." He said, pulling away.
I giggled and pecked his cheek.
"Go take a shower, the dinner is ready." I said.
"You made dinner?" He asked, surprised.
"Yes, I did." I said, with a proud look on my face.
"Why? Is Akshit bhaiya on leave?" He joked.
Okay, so the thing is, I rarely cooked, because we have a cook at home.
"I let him go early today." I said, pushing Rahul towards the bathroom.
"Atleast give me a kiss, before I go." He pleaded.
"You're going to take a shower. Stop acting like you're going to some other country." I said, chuckling.
"Please." He pleaded again, this time with puppy eyes.
Oh god, cannot resist this.
I leaned towards him, giving him a quick peck on his lips before pushing him away.
"I'll get you back for this."
I heard him saying, while in the bedroom.
I chuckled, shaking my head.
After a good fifteen minutes, Rahul came out, wearing a fresh tee and a pair of shorts.
We sat at the dining table, and I served him.
"Aaj itna pyaar?" He teased.
"Shut up." I said, rolling my eyes.
He chuckled in return.
We talked, ate, talked and ate more.
After we were done, we sat on the couch watching some show on the T.V.
"So, Rahul....." I started.
"Hmmm?" He responded.
"I don't know how you'll react to this but...."
"What did you do now?" He asked chuckling, thinking it was another set of my mishaps.

"Okay, wait here." I said, getting up from the couch.
I got the cake out of the fridge and kept it on the table.
"Why did you get a cake?" He asked, reaching out his hand to open the cake.
"Wait wait!" I said, hitting his hand.
I took my phone out to record this.
When I started recording, I told him to open the box.
"Why're you recording? Is this another prank you're playing on me?" He asked, while opening the box.
He saw the box and looked at me.
"Stop playing the pregnancy prank again." He said, laughing.
"I'm not, I swear to god." I said.
"Not falling for this again, Shy. I remember what you did last time."
He was still laughing.
Ugh! Shyra, you fool! Why did you even play the pregnancy prank? Now he thinks you're not pregnant and pranking him again.
"Okay, wait, look at this."
I took out the pregnancy kit from my sweatpant's pocket and showed it to him.
He looked at it, eyes wide open, and then turned to look at me.
"Are you serious? Please don't tell me it's a prank again." He said, his eyes begging me.
"I'm serious Rahul. You're going to become a dad." I said, smiling widely.
"Oh my god." He broke into a wide grin.
He ran a hand through his hair, a huge grin still on his face.
I stopped recording and kept my phone aside, looking at him expectantly.
"I love you." He said, engulfing me in a tight hug.
"I love you too." I whispered.
He kissed my forehead and then my lips.
"I'm so happy, I can't believe this." He said, chuckling.
I smiled at how happy he was.
Nothing else mattered to me at this point of time, other than him.
He looked at the cake and then at me.
"Shall we?" He asked, taking the knife in his hand.
I nodded, and held his hand in which he had the knife.
We cut the cake, and he fed me a bite.
He kissed my forehead again.
I stuffed one huge piece of cake in his mouth; laughing.
"Wow. I have to handle two kids after a few months." He said, gulping down the cake.
"I love you." I said, giggling.
I kept the cake back in the fridge and joined Rahul on the couch again.
I shared the cake's picture and the video with Rahul.
"Did you tell our parents about this?" He asked.
"Long back." I smiled.
I was watching Rahul's video and laughing, when Rahul clicked a picture of me.
"Rahul!" I groaned, hitting his arm.
"Okay, this is cute." I said, giggling, while looking at the picture.
I saw him posting my picture and the cake's picture on his Instagram and Twitter, captioning it,
Can't wait🤰
I laughed at his caption.
I turned back to my phone screen thinking what to caption.
Never prank your husband about being pregnant because when you actually do he won't believe you😂
I love you, cutie❤
I posted the cake's picture as well as Rahul's video.
And instantly we were showered with wishes.
"Well now I can definitely say here's the," Rahul started, and I looked at him.
Touching my stomach he completed,

Vooooote!
Wooohooo! So here's another bonus chapter.
So, I don't think I'll be able to write another book, seeing I've got online classes and chores at home.
But I'll be updating bonus chapters to this book and my previous books too.
Read my previous books, if you haven't already.
Much love♡

Braindead - A Zombie LitRPG
In a world where zombies are trash mobs that children kill for easy exp, what hope does one little zed have? Zed was minding his own business when his master's domain was invaded by a plucky young heroine looking to make a name for herself. An unlikely turn of events allowed Zed to come out on top, and gave him enough experience to rise above the life of a mindless minion. Unfortunately, it also left him with no body to share it with... literally, not figuratively! This story contains: Some 'jokes' containing questionable humour. An inhuman MC who has no interest in pesky things like romance or growing a conscience. Blue boxes, and a DnD style system messily mashed together with several other systems. Gore, but nothing too gratuitous. The main character is a severed head so what do you expect? Kingdom/base building, because what good is a zombie without a good horde behind them. Releases planned for each Sunday until I build up a decent backlog.

Displacement
or, Deux Navires Passant dans la Nuit If you wake up in a new world, with only your memories of home to guide you, you have to trust the first people you meet. The first people Leah meets seem to know her - but not her. Leah is thrust into a fighter's role that does not quite suit her, and those who 'rescued' her do their best to help her fit in. They hint at a world that Leah can only vaguely understand without serious research and exploration, but how to do that research, when everyone believes her to be a local of this place, and too many questions might draw unwanted attention? And what about home? The more Leah learns about this world, the less she believes that she woke up on the right side of the bed - or more accurately, on the right side of the conflict. With magic being strictly regulated in her current "home," maybe it's time to uproot and look for a new set of allies... -- Displacement is a queer / lgbt bodyswap isekai: Leah Armande falls out of a Quebecois city into an unfamiliar fantasy world, and Leah Talesh falls out of her adventuring party's homeland and into an unfamiliar industrial world. The story follows both women as they navigate their new surroundings, trying at times to find a way home, at times just to pass for a local, and at times to actually make a life for themselves in their new world. Expect in-depth politics and worldbuilding, sapphic moments, foibles, and far too much time spent either in libraries or convalescing (or sometimes both).
