It was a cold day in Bastogne like usual. You where writing in your journal. You had written a few in there across the time when you had different places.You hadn't shown anyone what you had written.You didn't think you where the best at it but you enjoyed it.Your hands where shaking they where that cold. You where working on a song.You looked at your hands and watched them tremble in front of your eyes.You sighed and kept writing.You then heard someone jump into your foxhole. You looked up and saw Eugene sitting there."Hey , y/l/n" he said lighting his smoke." Hey doc how's it going" you said smiling softly."Yea it's going good , what you writing there" he said."Just some stuff I've been working on , it's not the best but It takes my mind of things" you said writing a few more words down."Didn't know your liked to wright" he said exhaling his smoke."Yea , I'm just writing a song , don't think it's going to go anywhere" you said."What's it about" he asked."It's about love , about someone i know actually" you said." 'That was close' you thought.you then flicked over to the next page. You where going draw Eugene of your mind because you enjoyed to sketch too. You drew soft lines onto the page and drew a soft outline of him.It took time but you started with his eyes.They where dark and often hard to read or tell what he was feeling but oh how you loved them.

Time went by and you then heard soft foot prints behind you.You turned your head to see Eugene get into your foxhole and sit next to you.He saw you drawing him and smiled softly."Your so talented yet you doubt yourself , why is that" he asked."Well my parents think art and writing are a waist of time , I disagree with them but over time they broke my confidence" you said."Well I think your writing and art is really good" Eugene smiled.

he then softly leaned in like he did before and you met him in the middle and kissed him softly.It felt so right , so loving. Your lips where in sink. His hands wrapped around your waist."Please be mine y/n" he said."Gladly Eugene , I'll be yours" you said kissing him again.
