Beca woke up that morning, a little startled at the weight on her right side before remembering the events of last night. She smiled down at the sleeping redhead before slowly removing herself from the bed and heading to the bathroom to shower.

About fifteen minutes later she emerged from the bathroom dressed and ready for the day. She laughed at the sight of Chloe sprawled out on the bed like a starfish. She had made her way onto Beca's side of the bed since the brunette had left. She smiled before leaving the room.

When she made her way downstairs she smiled at all the Bellas sitting and laughing at the table.

"Hey Bec" Stacie said as she made her way over.

"Hey guys" she said said as she sat down.

"Hey do you know where Chloe is? I went to her room this morning and she wasn't there" Emily asked.

"Yeah she ended up with me late last night. She had one of her nightmares and ended up staying with me." Beca told them, not noticing the smirks placed on her friends faces.

"She still sleeping then?" Emily asked.

"When I left yeah. Sprawled out like a starfish" Beca said with a chuckle.

"That's the Chloe way" Stacie chuckled along.

"What's the Chloe way?" Chloe asked as she emerged from the staircase.

"Sleeping sprawled out like a starfish" Beca said with a light smile.

"I do not!" Chloe protested.

"Keep telling ya self that Red, we all know you do" Stacie said smiling.

"Shut up" she grumbled before heading to the kitchen for some coffee.

Beca got up and followed her to the kitchen and at down on a stool in front of her.

"How ya feeling?" Beca asked.

"Hm?" Chloe asked as she turns with a spoon hanging out of her mouth.

"How you feeling after last night? I know sometimes you not really you after one of those." Beca says as she plays with her rings.

"Oh, I actually feel pretty good this morning, thanks Bec" Chloe says with a small smile.

"No problem Chlo" Beca says as she stands up and grabs her jacket.

"Where are you going?" Chloe asked.

"I've gotta meet Mike and talk about my life after graduation, then I've got to meet some of my professors because they want to discuss my education whatever that means. Then I'm meeting up with some friends I haven't seen for a while. I'll probably be gone all day." Beca told her and Chloe's smile faded.

"Oh okay" she said as Beca left.

"Hey Red where's shorty going?" Amy asked.

"She's got meetings and people to see" Chloe said before turning and heading up to her room.

As Beca made her way to the hotel Mike was staying at, she couldn't help think about Chloe. She doesn't know why, but Chloe hasn't left her mind since last night. As she reached Mikes door she sighed before knocking.

"Hey Bec" Mike said as he opened the door for her.

"Hey dude" she said as she walked in.

"Here's a the necklace, hope you slept alright without it." He said as he handed it to her.

"Well I didn't need it cause I had the real thing" Beca said with a slight chuckle.

"Huh?" Mike asked.

"Chloe came into my room last night after one of her night terrors. She slept with me for the rest of the night" Beca explained.

"Oh, how'd it feel sleeping with her again?" Mike asked.

"Dude you make it sound like we had sex" Beca told him.

"Did you?" He asked.

"Dude no!" Beca yelled.

"Sorry" he said putting his hands up.

"You really think I'd just sleep with her again after she broke my heart the way she did." Beca said sadly as she sat down on his bed.

"Have you guys talked about what happened yet?" He asked.

"No, I caught up with the Bellas last night and I left this morning after she woke up." She told him.

"Why'd you leave so soon? You have nothing to do today?" He asked.

"Because I might have lied and told her I have a bunch of things to do today" Beca said sheepishly.

"Beca you idiot. Just spend some damn time with the women. We all know you want to" Mike said.

"What do I do? Just show back up so soon after telling her I'd be gone all day?" She asked sarcastically.

"You just say that our meeting went quicker than you expected and that everyone else had to reschedule" he said as if it was the smartest idea in the world.

"That just sounds stupid." Beca said.

"Then tell her I told you that you needed to pack your stuff so we could ship it off to LA as soon as possible. Actually that's a good idea, go pack so we can have your stuff in LA." He said before shooing her out the door.

"Fine" she grumbled before leaving and heading back to the Bellas house.

Once she arrived she headed straight up to the room she's sharing with Amy to get boxes.

"Knock knock" she heard.

"Come in" she yelled before finding more boxes.

"I thought you had meetings and stuff to go to?" Chloe asked as she stepped in.

"I did but my meeting with Mark went by quicker than I thought and he told me to pack my stuff to send to LA so it would be there. My old friends canceled last minute so I just canceled my meetings with my professors and decided on just packing today." Beca told her.

"Isn't most of your stuff in my room?" Chloe asked.

"Yeah unless you moved it" Beca said.

"Well come on, it's all still there. I'll help you" Chloe said before grabbing some boxes and leaving.

"Okay" Beca said following.

Once they made it down to Chloe's room Beca smiled. Chloe had left it the exact same since she left. Chloe placed the boxes down in the room and turned to Beca with a smile.

"So what do you want to start with?" Chloe asked.

"You said you didn't move anything correct?" Beca asked confusing Chloe.

"Yeah why?" She asked and Beca smirked.

Beca headed over to the bookcase before pulling a book of and opening it. Chloe's jaw dropped when she noticed that the book was actually a hidden storage box thing.

"When did you do that?" Chloe asked.

"When I first started writing music we had just started dating. I didn't want to share any of it but I knew that if you found it I wouldn't hear the end until you heard it so I made this little hidden thing to hide USBs of songs in." Beca said with a smile.

"Do you remember whats on them?" Chloe asked.

"No, none of them are labeled to, except for this one" Beca said pulling out a USB labeled My Girl.

"Can we listen?" Chloe asked hopefully.

"Sure" Beca said walking over to Chloe's laptop and plugging the usb in.

A single file popped up named Steal My Girl. Beca pressed play on the audio and immediately started laughing when she heard the opening cords.

"I remember this song" she said still laughing.

As the song finished Beca hit pause and caught her breathe from laughing so much.

"Who the hell made you so jealous that you wrote that song?" Chloe asked with a slight chuckle.

"Mr. Tom O'Riley. I remember writing this after he wouldn't stop flirting with you. I took my jealousy from all those guys flirting with you and made this song." Beca told her.

"That guy always meant nothing to me ya know" Chloe said sitting down on the bed.

"Yeah I knew that but it didn't stop my from being jealous." Beca said.

"Can we talk about what happened?" Chloe asked shyly.

"Sure" Beca answered nervously.

"When I read your letter I regretted everything. I should've just listened to you but I didn't and I ruined our relationship." Chloe said.

"We both fucked up chlo, I should've told you sooner and you should've listen to me when I tried to tell you. We both messed up but it's in the past now." Beca said softly.

"I missed you so much. I need you back in my life Beca." Chloe said.

"Chlo, you've been my best friend since I was two, nothing is going to replace the spot in my heart with your name written on it." Beca said.

"How are you so calm?" Chloe asked.

"21 years ago I met my best friend. We were inseparable. When I was fourteen I came to you crying because I was sexually confused. You helped me accept myself. That same year I had my heart broken my Brittany. You were there. When we were fifteen you got with Tyler. I thought I was going to lose you but when he asked you to choose between me and him and you chose me, I was the happiest I've ever been. When we were sixteen I took a leap of faith and asked you to dinner, with Aubrey's push. I thanked my lucky stars you said yes. For six years of my life I was the happiest person alive because I got to call you mine. My whole life up until this tour, I've had you by my side. The only way I know to live is with you around." Beca told her.

"Can we try our relationship again?" Chloe asked hopefully.

"No, at least not yet" Beca said and Chloe's face fell.

"Wh-why not?" Chloe asked, tears brimming her eyes.

"You were able to throw the six years we spent together away so quickly, I'm afraid you'll do it again and I'll have a broken heart all over again. I want us to be best friends again, but not lovers" Beca told her as she pulled her into a hug.

"But I love you" Chloe cried.

"I love you too, and because I love you we need to stay friends for now" Beca told her.

Beca laid them both down as Chloe continued to cry into her chest. Beca leaned down and kissed Chloe's temple.
