After weeks of staying on Mt. Aozang and honing my abilities, it's finally time for me to arrive in Liyue Harbor.

I wanted Xiao to come with me but he said he didn't feel welcome in the human world. Strange since he did get some things from Liyue Harbor for my birthday but oh well. He did say he'll watch over me though so I guess it's not too bad.

I wake up bright and early and cook myself an egg. If only Bennett were here... I loved eating the eggs he cooks. But nonetheless, I'm no culinary amateur so I whip up a tasty breakfast and head out to Liyue Harbor.

Xiao told me to leave without saying goodbye so I wouldn't be so attached or something... but I just can't find the strength to leave without saying goodbye at least—

I try entering Cloud Retainers domains sine that's where Xiao slept last night so I could leave without a trace. But Cloud Retainer shows up and blocks the entrance...

"Uh can I say goodbye to Xiao ?"

"Xiao asked one to not let one in under any circumstance but... I feel it is only right for you to say farewell to your lover so... I must betray ones wishes and let you in."

Thank god Cloud Retainer absolutely loves me and Xiao together—

I walk in to see Xiao already awake and pacing the floor. He looks up and sees me. I see him hesitate for a bit but he quickly dashes over to me and plants a kiss on my lips.

"I thought I told you not to say goodbye to me."

"Well it didn't feel right to just leave without a word and... you wanted to say goodbye to me too right ?"

"......... Is everything you need for the trip packed ?"

"Nice job changing the subject but yeah, I've packed everything."

"Clothes ?"

"Check."

"Adpeti Seeker Stove I had Cloud Retainer make ?"

"Yep."

"Weapon and spare clothes in case it rains and your clothes get dirty ?"

"Packed all of that."

"The heart locket I bought you that has your first initial and my first initial on it ?"

"I'm wearing it right now."

"Ah, you're right. Sorry I was too focused looking at your eyes. They're so pretty and—"

I hear someone cough behind us.

"One only let this traveler in to say goodbye to you Xiao. It's time for them to go."

Xiao looks down and pulls me into a hug.

"I'll miss sleeping next to you..."

"I will too. But we'll meet again right ?"

"Of course ! I would never leave you Y/N. "

I laugh at the seriousness in Xiao's tone and leave the domain. Xiao escorts me down the mountain so I don't have to walk all the way down and before wave back to him as I walk away.

The initial camp we set up was in Guili Plains and was much closer to the harbor but since... that place got incinerated we had to move to Mt. Aozang obviously, and now it's a much longer way to get to ye harbor.

Xiao offered to just get me over there in a minute but I declined since I needed to do some foraging along the way anyways.

Xiao was able to map my route out a few days ago and basically, I need to get past Huaguang Stone Forest and then get through Natiannmen rather easily. He told me that Tianqiu Valley and the path from Dunyu Ruins to Lingju Pass is very dangerous so instead Xiao mapped out a route for me to take in order to arrive at Liyue Harbor safely.

I look at my route once more and then I take my first step towards Liyue Harbor.

I'm immediately met with a few treasure hoarders. They seem rather weak so I took them on and obviously, won't the fight. I took some of their stolen goods since it's not stealing if your taking from the thief... right ?

I make it past Natiannmen very easily but as I reach Tiangqiu Valley, I see a few Fatui Memebers around the entrance to the 3 towers. So in order to avoid them I just swim across the pond in hopes the don't see me.

I make it across but of course I just had to run into another Geo Vishap on the way. I try avoiding it but it notices me and digs underground. I know it'll try appearing next to me so I heat up the ground beneath so it doesn't show up right next to me.

It emerges and tries to jump at me, but I step out just in time and have a fire pillar burst out where it landed, effectively killing the Geo Vishap.

I sign in relief and continue walking. It's almost night and I do NOT want to set up camp next to Dunyu Ruins, so I climb up the mountains next to the path and try to not engage in any fights in the meantime.

I finally see Dunyu Ruins and saw more Fatui nearby. So I decided to try to glide over them in hopes they don't see me. They don't, luckily and I make it past Dunyu Ruins.

The sun starts to set right as I get to Mt Tianheng and right before I was able to set up my tent, I saw a few treasure hoarders pass by.

How many of those thief's are around here ?? Like with the last few Treasure Hoarders I finish the fight rather quickly and before heading back, I decided to get a glimpse of Liyue Harbor.

After living in Mondstadt for so long and getting used to the houses and walls, seeing Liyue Harbor for the first time is breathtaking.

I can't wait to finally make it there.

But exploring in the night is dangerous so I set up a tent and go to bed. Missing the warmth that used to lull me to sleep.
