When you say it
It sounds sweet
Rolls of the tongue beautifully
'I love you.'
Sounds amazing doesn't it?
Makes you feel appreciated
Makes you feel like you have a reason to live
But when you add one simple letter to it
Everything changes
Love changes to loved
'I loved you.'
Sounds totally and completely poisonous
Stings so bad
Because you realise
you're no longer enough
And suddenly,
you don't really feel like living
Things changed
Heartbreak happened
All smiles fade
"Does anyone love you?"
