Head in her hands
She's on the floor
Her back's up
against the wall
She's not crying, no
'Cos her tears dried
a long long time ago
She didn't realise
that she was shaking
Didn't know
that her fingers were trembling
as she started to write.
Didn't realise
that when she stopped writing,
it was dark outside.
Didn't realise
that the darkness
took away the light in her eyes
She didn't see
that she was losing herself
piece by piece
She wasn't holding on to anything
And those pieces ,
were slowly fading,
Those pieces
were falling
Piece by piece,
she destroyed herself.
And at the end,
there wasn't a single piece
left
