When people ask If you're okay,

normally, they wait for the usual reply of 'I'm fine'

and that's exactly what I'll do

I'll give an awesome performance

with the laugh

and the jokes

I'll put on a great show

with a skip,

and a dance

make up some story

of my newest romance

Maybe I'll sing a little too

But when the curtain drops

I'll drop my act too

No more forced laughs

and stupid jokes

No spring in my step,

and instead of dancing,

I'll lay here on the floor

Because infront of myself

I don't need to put on a show
