So while the story isn’t full of gore for the sake of gore, it can get a little too descriptive.-The MC is a necromancer, so corpses and decay, and all the things that come with it, will be mentioned from time to time.-I’m a huge fan of Egyptian, Slavic, and Greek mythology, so expect quite a bit of that. That said, so much is altered, you’ll be hard-pressed to guess how exactly it is being used.-Despite being ‘immortal’ the MC can die. In the event he does, the story doesn’t end, simply time skips forward. Which in some cases is going to be worse than just dying.-I love plot twists, as much as I love red herrings and Chekhov guns. Call of The Dragons
In a continent called Hiphon, it sits separated from the rest of the world, reality slowly surrendering to fictional forces, be it creatures not found on the other continents or people coming down with a case of magical powers, fiction meshes with reality almost fruitlessly. However, even in this world there are creatures that are an unknown. One of those creatures, being the almighty dragon, told only through children's books and fairy tails. Oculus has found a dragon. In a cave outside his village, in a mystical part of Hiphon known as the Exxen Rings, he finds a crimson dragon resting in the deepest part of the cave. Oculus asks for the dragons power, but it swiftly denies that wish. It isn't until years later when a mysterious carriage popped out of nowhere with an interesting guest that he finds an opportunity to gain that power. The dragon will grant his power for one last request. Oculus will have to prove that there is more dragons living in the world. Will Oculus be able to find a dragon with the help of his new friend, or will he come up with nothing, leaving the dragon to die a lonely death?

Adding in [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Sean was a chemist on Earth with a lovely family life. Everything was going well, until a group of gods decide to summon him to their world. An unfortunate appearance by the trickster god derailed a normal summoning, and now Sean finds himself in a pickle. Content warning: There will be profanity and quite probably some gore, though the point of the story will not revovle around any gory scenes. I'm also including traumatising content as there will for sure be slavery and rape. The rape will be alluded to and not described, there are other places for that. I think this also explains the grimdark tag.
