《Only you can make me feel better... (Calamity x Drift)》Chapter 26: Eternal sleep

I was slowly waking up and felt like my head was dying. A light groan escaped my lips as I was opening my eyes. I saw I was in our room in bed and that I had my clothes on that I was wearing when Drift and I were at Lucky Landing. I wanted to stand up but I couldn't because my hands were above me, tied to the headboard. I got a little anxious because I didn't know why I was tied to the bed and what was going on. I tried struggling in the ropes to get free but it was no use. Just a second later, the door of the bathroom opened so my head shot to the left side, and I saw Drift walked out.
I asked nervously yet anxious, while Drift was walking to my side. He sat down on the edge of the bed next to me and removed a strand of hair from my face. Drift asked. I asked a little shaky. He explained everything of what happened this midnight and also that the team was looking out for me because of the bloodstain that was on my glove.
I asked in shock. Drift explained. I asked nervously but he just stayed silent and looked to the ground. I whispered and had a tear in my eye. Was he really thinking that I would murder someone? Drift said a little sad. I asked and Drift nodded. I said as more tears were leaving my eyes.
Drift said while wiping my tears away with his thumbs. Drift said holding my cheeks. I asked looking Drift in the eyes. Drift said a little guilty. I was thinking about the thought of me spending the entire day in this room, which made me even more sad and shed another tear.... It also depends on how fast Plague can make that potion.
Drift kissed my forehead and stood up. I asked. Drift said and left the room. And there I was left alone in the room again, unable to do anything. I couldn't hold it anymore and just let the tears out that my eyes were holding back. I just didn't understand why I had to go trough this... Eventually, I just cried myself to sleep.

When I went to John, is answer was unfortunately a no. I was still not allowed to untie Calamity, which did make me sad. And so, the day passed on but it didn't feel the same with Calamity being in our room for the whole day, not able to do anything at all... I felt really bad for her. The only moment I untied her was when she had to go to the bathroom. For the rest, she had to stay in bed... I would also sometimes give her something to eat or drink but for the rest, there was nothing that I could do but leave her in bed with her wrists tied.
Currently it was 21:38 and I just finished changing into my pajamas, so I left the bathroom and laid down next to Calamity, who had her head turned to the right, probably looking outside through the window. I put my left arm around her waist and wanted to kiss her cheek but noticed tears were rolling down her cheeks. I removed my left hand from her waist and wiped her tears away with my thumbs. I asked softly and she turned her head to me. She responded slightly sobbing. That just hit me. I exactly knew how she felt. Not that I ever experienced such thing but I understood how she felt. I said sadly. Calamity didn't say anything and just turned her head away again, looking out the window. I said and then gave her a kiss on her cheek, putting my left arm around her waist again. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
Sunshine was shining in our room, which caused my eyes to slightly open. I saw my hand was still around Calamity's waist, but she was asleep. I stood up and went to the bathroom doing my morning routine and put my stage 2 clothes on. I walked downstairs and saw Raptor and Brite just began eating breakfast. I simply said and walked to the kitchen counter and just grabbed an apple. Raptor said. I said and just ate the apple while on my phone. I finished the apple, throwing it away in the trash bin and walked towards the stairs.

Brite said concerned. I stopped walking and just stared at the floor. I soon felt a hand on my shoulder and saw it was Raptor and Brite was behind him. Raptor asked. I said letting a tear out. Brite said with a reassuring tone. I said with a fake smile and continued walking back upstairs. I entered our room, closing the door behind me. Calamity was awake and she turned her head to me while I was walking towards her. I said sitting down on the edge of the bed and removed my black mask, giving her a kiss on her lips. She simply replied with no emotion. I asked and she nodded slightly. I untied the ropes and she stood up. She grabbed new clothes from the closet and walked in the bathroom, locking the door. I decided to wait for her by sitting on the bed, while she was taking a shower.
I pulled my phone out and was just minding my own business until I saw a notification on the top of my screen from Plague! I quickly opened the message and read his message. A smile formed on my face after I read it. He was finally done! That would mean that the spell will be broken completely! As I was in my happy thoughts, Calamity walked out the bathroom, dressed in her stage 3 clothes. She walked to the bed and sat on the bed with her legs on the bed. She was used to lay down again, because she knew I had to tie her wrists but before she could even lay down, I pulled her into a hug with my arms around her. I felt her arms immediately securing around my back and she snuggled her head in my neck, with my chin rested on her head. We just stayed like that for almost a minute, not letting each other go. Then I broke the silence. I said softly. Calamity asked as she jolted her head up. I nodded and I could see a smile on her face. Just then, the doorbell rang. I heard Brite yell from downstairs.
After 10 seconds, Plague opened our bedroom door and walked inside with a small bottle. Plague said and closed the door behind him and walked to the side of the bed where we were sitting. He was now standing in front of us and handed the small bottle with dark blue liquid in it over to Calamity. Plague mentioned. Calamity first looked at the bottle as if she didn't want to drink it, but she then removed the cork of the bottle. She asked before she drank it. Plague nodded simply and Calamity then began drinking. It put my right arm around her shoulder and watched her drink it.
Soon, she drank all of the liquid and put the cork on the bottle again, handing it back to Plague. We waited for a small 10 seconds and I could see it started having effect on her. Plague asked as he also noticed the effect started to show. Calamity slightly nodded in response and she tried to keep her eyes open whenever they would close. Plague said softly and put the bottle on his belt, which could carry bottles. I pulled her closer and her head now laid on my shoulder, with my arm still around her shoulder. I looked at her face and saw that she gave up on keeping her eyes closed and was now sleeping. Plague said. I said smiling. Plague said nicely and left the house.
I gently laid Calamity down on the bed and kissed her forehead. I stood up and left the room, closing the door. I walked downstairs and saw Brite and Raptor were on the couch cuddling with each other while watching TV. I asked as I sat down with them. Raptor said pointing at the TV. I decided to watch along since Calamity was asleep/unconscious and I had nothing else to do. After an hour and an half, the show was over so me, Raptor and Brite ended up talking and laughing the rest of the day. I did enjoy it though. I could clear my mind a little so that was good.
