《Only you can make me feel better... (Calamity x Drift)》Chapter 20: She hurt my feelings...

I watched Calamity's body drop to the floor as Brite knocked her out, by giving her a punch on her temple. Brite quickly kneeled down and held her in her arms with a worried look on her face. I also kneeled down in front of them and held her face in my face, happy to hold her, even though she was under a spell and knocked out.
Suddenly, a faint explosion was heard. Me, Dire and Brite looked towards the direction of where the sound came from. Dire said shocked. I didn't know what to do for now, but came to a solution. I commanded. They nodded and Brite handed Calamity over to Dire, because he was stronger and could carry her. Dire carried her bridal style and left the villain base with Brite.
I went towards where the explosion just came from. As I turned the corner, I saw Omega and Oblivion were fighting against Technique, Abstract, Raptor and Sunny. John and Carbide were trying to break something with their pickaxes that looked like a big, magical orb. I decided to join them and went next to John. I asked as I just randomly started pickaxing this orb with my rift edge, trying to break it. Carbide explained. We continued pickaxing it as I came to an idea.
I randomly mentioned. John looked at me with a weird confused face. I said to make it clear. John said. I said just like John said that earlier to Brite. John looked defeat and grabbed his sword. Omega looked at John and widen his eyes. He yelled but it was too late. John had already sliced the orb and it suddenly disappeared in thin air.
Omega and Oblivion stared at the vanished orb in disbelief. Because they weren't on their guard now, Sunny and Raptor pinned Omega down to the ground, and so did Technique and Abstract with Oblivion. Silence fell as John started walking to the pinned villains, with his mighty sword in his hands. Omega said. John said and stabbed Omega in the heart. Oblivion yelled as she started crying. Then John stabbed Oblivion in the heart too. Seconds later, their body's vanished, going to the dimension... Or something idk. John sighed and closed his eyes. John murmured. I sighed in relief as I heard that.

But then I remembered... Calamity! I said panicky and started running away.Sunny asked. I yelled back and continued running. I heard multiple footsteps behind me so the team was following me. I ran and ran, not bothering to take a break. I had to continue running...
After some time, me and the team arrived at the HQ. I went down and searched for Dire and Brite. I yelled. I heard Brite yell. I ran towards the cell area that we had in our own HQ. But here, it was a short hallway with cells on the left side of the hallway.
As I arrived at the hall way with the rest of the team behind me, I saw Dire and Brite. I looked inside the cell they were in front of and saw Calamity in there, still unconscious and on the ground. The rest of the team also noticed it. I sat down on my knees and held the cell bars, looking extremely worried at Calamity. Dire mentioned. I softly whispered. I felt a hand on my shoulder but didn't bother to look who it was. I heard Abstract say. I slowly nodded but still had my gaze fixed on Calamity. I hoped she would wake up quick and that the spell would be broken...
Later on, some of the team members left, because John told them to. John said it would be too much pressure for Calamity if she woke up and saw the whole team staring at her. Now only me, John and Brite were waiting in front of the cell, waiting until she would wake up...
I started waking up again and slowly opened my eyes. I heard some faint talking in the background. I groaned as I tried sitting up because I had an annoying ass headache. I heard some gasps. My vision cleared up and I saw I was in a cell. 3 people were outside the cell staring at me. That Drift boy was sitting on the ground, right in front of the cell. Another man in a black suit was just standing, next to Brite. Oh that bitch... Drift said softly. I asked in anger grabbing the cell bars still sitting on the ground, too weak to stand up. The man in the black suit murmured. I was getting more furious because of them. All they talk about is that I am under control, or under some kind of spell and that I forgot who these people are. But I know they're just lying.

The man in a suit said, sentence by sentence. I shot back, glaring at that man. Brite said putting a hand on John's shoulder. I said, giving a death glare to Brite, who also looked at me. I said with a low voice, looking a her with an intimidating look. I could see Brite was getting angry, but tried to calm her self down by taking a deep breath. Brite said, with tears swelling up as I, Drift and John looked at her walking away.
Drift looked at me with a disappointing look, yet worried. Drift asked. I shot back. Drift asked looking at me with sad eyes. This Drift was really getting o my nerves now. Drift now had a tear in his eye but I ignored it. I mimicked Drift. Drift said sadly. I raised my voice out of anger.
I mean, come on! Why do these people keep saying the same thing? I could see more tears started leaving Drift's eyes as he started sobbing. He was truly hurt but I couldn't do anything about it. I just stared at him coldly, not caring about him at all now. John walked to Drift and put a hand on his shoulder. John said and Drift slowly nodded and got up. Just when Drift closed the door behind him, a evil smirk appeared under my black bandanna.
You guys are a bunch of dumb fools...
I was still hurt after what Calamity said. About me not being her boyfriend. Those words kept repeating in my head. I ain't your girlfriend! I ain't your girlfriend! I ain't your girlfriend! It felt like my heart sank to the deepest bottom of the sea that there was. I know that the real Calamity would never hurt my feelings. Even though I knew the spell controlled her, it was still hurtful when she said those words.
When me and John were in the cell area waiting for Calamity to wake up, he mentioned someone named Plague I think. But he was cut of by Calamity waking up so he stopped talking about that Plague guy. But right now, me and the team are talking about it. Drift asked. John said. Sunstrider said. John hesitated. Brite asked in disbelief as she heard John say no. John said. Dire asked curiously.

Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.

Demonic forest fires, consumption of souls, rivers of blood and rampant carnage; none of these can get in the way of a dedicated effort to think positively.Newest chapters at: https://manatankmagus.wordpress.com/This location is likely to stay a bit behind. I am very lazy. :DDISCLAIMER: My primary purpose here is Comedy rather than badass skills and righteous adventures (although there's some of that too). The main character can be a little bumbling at times and has a much higher opinion of himself than justified. If you really dislike that kind of thing, this is probably not for you.
