《Only you can make me feel better... (Calamity x Drift)》Chapter 18: Who is Drift?

It's been a month and a half of my pregnancy and to be honest, it's not as I expected it. I would feel nauseous all the time, throw up or have a lot of pain in my back every single time. And it wasn't the best kind of pain. It felt like needles were in my back. So I would be in bed all day and just complain and whine about it. But lucky for me, Drift would be by my side and sometimes give a massage that would ease the pain for a bit. His massages were like angel hands working as some kind of medicine. Just a 5 minute massage and I could just relax for the upcoming 2 hours or so.
Right now it was evening and me and Drift were on the couch, alone in the house. Raptor was out with Dire and Abstract I think, just chilling somewhere. Drift sat next to me and was on his laptop and I watched along, as we were searching boy and girl names because we weren't really good at thinking of a name our self's. We had a small list by now with names. I say as I point at a girl name. Drift got cut of by Calidas rough neigh sound. I asked worried. Drift said and we both got up, walking outside, but we didn't see anything.
I walked to Calida and tried to calm her down by caressing her forehead. I said softly and Drift came by next to me. But she wasn't calming down for some reason. I suddenly heard a male robotic like voice. I jumped and looked around, and so does Drift as we have no idea who just said that.
Suddenly, a portal opened up in front of us. My eyes widen and secure my arms around Drift and he puts his arms around my back. I was really scared by now and didn't know what would happen next. Then, a woman and a man appeared out of the portal and the portal then disappeared. The woman said, who also sounded sort of like a robot. I asked in fear. Omega said, making it obvious they are together. Omega said. Drift asked suspiciously. Oblivion said. Drift asked, getting a little frustrated.

Oblivion said as she looked at me. I shot at them. Omega said and he threw a smoke grenade, and in a matter of seconds there was smoke everywhere. Drift and I lost each other in the smoke, and I was trying to find him again.
As I was walking around in the smoke, I suddenly felt 2 arms were wrapped around my arms and waist. Because this person was close, I could see who it was and saw it was Oblivion. I yelled on top of my lungs. Oblivion pulled me out of the smoke and Omega was waiting there, with an open portal. I tried squirming out of her embrace, but it was no use. I heard Drift yell. Just when I wanted to warn Drift I was outside the smoke area, Omega covered my mouth with his hand and muffled my screams. Oblivion dragged me closer to the portal and I got really frightened now that I started crying. When Drift noticed my muffled screams, he yelled for my name again. He yelled as loud as he could. I looked in front of me and saw we were entering the portal. But as we did, everything went black...
When the smoke disappeared, I saw no one. I was alone outside the house with Calida in the dark, under the moon shine. They took her... They fucking took her! I panicked and looked around me to see if there was anything left, but no. Just the cold breeze touching my body. I dropped on my knees on the grass and covered my face with my hands as I started crying. I let all my tears out as I felt heart broken.
I heard Dire yell. I looked up, lowering my hands from my face and Raptor, Dire and Abstract running towards me. Raptor said and he kneeled down next to me and put a hand on my shoulder. Raptor said. I sobbed. Abstract asked curiously. I answered. Abstract said. I got up and we started walking to the big house. Because it was pretty close, we arrived there pretty fast.
We arrived at the house and I burst inside, receiving Carbide and John's shocked looks. I shouted. Everyone else in the house was in their room, so they left their room and all came downstairs. Technique asked worried. I said looking at Technique and everyone widened their eyes but John gasped. John asked looking at me. I slowly nodded and John widened his eyes. He said. I asked looking sternly in his eyes.

John sighed and opened his mouth to talk. John explained. I asked stressed. John sadly shaked his head no. I formed my hands in a fist and banged them against the wall and yelled in anger. I yelled.
Sunny came next to me and put her hands on my shoulders. Sunny tried to calm me down and turned me around, making me face her. Dire mentioned as he came next to me and Sunny. I just nodded and left the house with Raptor, towards our own house.
I went straight to bed, changing into my pajamas. I just laid there, and looked out of the window, staring at the stars and the moon. I just didn't understand. Why was it always her? Was she so special that every evil person wants her or is it just bad luck? Calamity... Where are you? I'm so goddamn worried. I don't even know what these strangers can do to you now... I tried sleeping because I need all the energy I can have to search. I managed to shove my thoughts away and closed my eyes, falling asleep.
I slowly started waking up and opened my eyes. I looked around and saw I was in a dark room with a simple lamp hanging above me. I got anxious and wanted to move, but I couldn't for some reason. I then realized I was in a sort of metal hospital looking bed, with my ankles and my wrists tied at the sides with rope. I had the urge to scream for help, but soon also noticed a bandanna was tied around my mouth, preventing me from talking. I got even more anxious and started looking around really fast because of anxiety, hoping for something or someone that could help me. But instead I just found my self alone in this room.
Then I heard the door open and shot my head towards the door. I saw Oblivion walk in and she closed the door again when she entered the room. She walked towards me and now stood next to me, making eye contact. She brought her finger to my face and caressed my cheek. But because I was so scared, I moved away from her finger and whimpered in fear. She said softly, but I was still scared. She said and I slowly nodded. She murmured, removing the bandanna.
I asked in fear looking at her in the eyes, even tough she had a mask on. She said putting a hand on my shoulder. I asked as I was confused. Oblivion said. I slightly panicked at the name Dusk but didn't show I was scared. Oblivion cut me off by putting her hand over my mouth, and came closer to my face. I was getting really anxious by now.
Oblivion said with a low voice, and removed her hand from my mouth. I widen my eyes and stare at her in shock. I couldn't say anything as I was shocked. Oblivion chuckled. I shot at Oblivion.
Oblivion said. " I asked curiously with a frown on my face. Oblivion said and chuckled. I said and Oblivion just laughed in a devilish way. She said as she shaked her head, while removing a strand of hair from my face.
Just then, Omega walked in the room, closing the door behind him. He stood on the other side of the bed, next to me. I asked as I got scared. Omega and Oblivion didn't say anything and raised their hands in the air. I looked at their hands and saw there was some kind of black smoky magic forming in their hands. I widen my eyes and start to shake in fear. The smoky magic slowly make their way together and then connect, forming a kind of smoky energy ball. I begged with a shaky voice and started sobbing. But they didn't listen and continued on concentrating on the smoky energy ball.

Godfather Of Champions
This is a story about the pursuit of victory.— «I subscribe only to the theory of victory. I only pursue victory. As long as I am able to obtain victory, I don’t care if it’s total football or counterattack. What is the ultimate goal of professional soccer? In my opinion, it is victory, and the pinnacle of victory is to become the champions. I am a manager. If I don’t wish to lose my job or be forgotten by the people, there’s only one path for me to take, and that is to lead the team in obtaining victories, in obtaining championship titles!»The main character was not well-liked by people.— «⋯We conducted a survey which had been deemed by Manager Tony Twain as extremely meaningless. In a random street survey conducted, ninety-three percent of those surveyed chose the option ‘I hate Tony Twain’, while only seven percent chose the option ‘This person is rather decent, I like him’. It is worth noting that nobody chose the option ‘Who is Tony Twain? I don’t know him’. Mark, do you know why Manager Twain felt that our survey was very meaningless?» Parker, a reporter from laughed loudly and said when he was being interviewed by BBC.But there were also people who were madly in love with him.— When Tony Twain was forced to talk about the survey conducted by during an interview, his reply was : «I am happy, because Nottingham Forest’s fans make up seven percent of England’s population.»And he did not seem to care about how the others saw him.— «What are you all trying to make me say? Admit that I am not popular, and everywhere I go will be filled with jeers and middle fingers. You all think I will be afraid? Wrong! Because I am able to bring victory to my team and its supporters. I don’t care how many people hate me and can’t wait to kill me, and I also won’t change myself to accommodate the mood of these losers. You want to improve your mood? Very simple, come and defeat me.»His love story had garnered widespread attention.— «Our reporters took these pictures at Manager Tony Twain’s doorsteps. It clearly shows that Shania entered his house at 8.34pm and she did not leave the house throughout the night at all. But Manager Tony Twain firmly denies, and insists that that was merely the newest-model inflatable doll which he had ordered. He was the number one star of the team.— «⋯ Became the spokesperson of world-wide famous clothing brands, shot advertisements, frequented the fashion industry’s award ceremonies, endorsed electronic games, has a supermodel girlfriend. His earnings from advertisements exceed his club salary by seventeen times, owns a special column in various print medias, publishing his autobiography (in progress), and is even said that he is planning to shoot an inspirational film based off his own person experiences! Who can tell me which part of his life experiences is worthy of being called ‘inspirational’? Hold on⋯. Are you all thinking that I’m referring to David Beckham? You’re sorely mistaken! I’m talking about Manager Tony Twain⋯.»He was very knowledgeable about Chinese soccer.— «⋯ I’ve heard about it, that Bora gifted four books to his manager Mr. Zhu before your country’s national team’s warm up match. After which, the team lost 1:3 to a nameless American team from Major League Soccer. The new excuse that Mr. Zhu gave for losing the match, was that Bora gifted «books» (‘books’ and ‘lose’ are homophones in the Chinese language). Here, I recommend that you guys find out what that one specific book is. Which book? Of course the one that caused you all to score a goal. After that, tell me the title of the book. Before every match, I will gift ten copies of that same book to you. In that case, won’t you all be able to get a triumphant 10:0 win over your opponents every time?» An excerpt taken from Tony Twain’s special column in a certain famous Chinese sports newspaper. He was loved and hated by the press.— «He has a special column in at least four renowned print media, and he is able to get a considerable amount of remuneration just by scolding people or writing a few hundred words of nonsense weekly. While we have to contemplate hard about our drafts for three days before our boss is pleased with it. In an article inside his special column, he scolded and called all of the media ‘son of a bitch’, announcing that he hated the media the most. But every time he publishes an article, we flock towards him like flies which had spotted butter. Why? Because the readers like to read his news and see him scold people. I dare to bet with you, and Manager Tony Twain knows clearly in his heart as well, that even though he says that he hates us, he knows that the present him cannot do without us. Similarly, we also cannot do without him. Is this ultimately considered a good or a bad thing?» Bruce Pearce, a reporter from said with a face of helplessness when talking about Tony Twain. But no matter the case, his players were his most loyal believers.— Gareth Bale, «No no, we never had any pressure when playing on our home grounds. Because the pressure is all on the manager. As long as we see him standing by the side of the field, all of us will feel that we will be able to win that match. Even the football hooligans are like meek lambs in front of him!» (After saying this, he began to laugh out loudly)The reply from George Wood, the team captain of Nottingham Forest, was the most straightforward. «We follow him because he can bring us victory.»The legendary experience of Tony Twain, the richest, most successful, most controversial manager with the most unique personality!Debuting this summer.Thank you for reading.

Edward, a regular guy, is transported to another world at the wrong time and place. Slowly, he adapts, paves his way, and faces whatever misfortune awaits. This is my first work. I'm mostly messing around with different themes/characters. The first few chapters are pretty inconsistent, containing most of the rough experimentation, but if you can get past them - I'm sure you'll have a much nicer time. Do not expect anything of notable quality; however, any advice/criticism/suggestions are greatly appreciated. The story won't involve any dark themes, so no excessive violence, rape, etc. Discord

He thought that would never get the chance to defend the village from the spike feeders, the deadly creatures jutting out with hazardous spikes haphazardly all over. Only predator beast souls were given the requisite training and allowed to join the village guard. Perry just didn't meet their criteria. He was also wrong.Soon Perry will live out his wildest dreams and more, as he scales the rankings of beast soul mastery, fights innumerable dangerous spike feeders and solves mysteries related to the origin of beast souls and spike feeders. And maybe, just maybe, he'll even get to join the city guard. Genre-wise, Mortal Mewling is a GameLit story (light on the GameLit) focused on action and adventure. The Gore tag is there more as a precaution, rather than a promise to keep producing gory words. Mortal Mewling is a bit of a slow burn in terms of start, scale and capacity of the protagonist. Book 2... has now begun! Updates Monday and Thursday
