《Only you can make me feel better... (Calamity x Drift)》Chapter 1: Heartbreaking news

Hey there fellas. I'm Calamity and I live on Balfour Island. It's like the Fortnite Island, but just a tiny bit smaller. I live in a pretty big house with my parents Lionara and Rafael, and my brother Deadfire. We are a Spanish family, and were born in Colombia. Later we moved to Balfour Island. I don't want to brag but we are pretty rich. Balfour Island is full with big houses. That means pretty much everyone is rich here hehe.
Right now its 17:30 and my parents are about to leave. They are going to a restaurant to spent some time together. I'm staying home with Deadfire this evening. my mom said. Deadfire and I said goodbye to our parents. As the door closed I went into my room and put on my pajamas. (Shirt with spaghetti straps and pajama shorts) I walked back downstairs to find Deadfire on the couch searching trough some movies on Netflix. I sat on the couch next to deadfire. Deadfire asked. Iresponded smiling. Deadfireasked, as he pointed at the TV with the remote. I was looking at the description of the movie. It was a horror movie. I said. When Deadfire started the movie I went to the kitchen to get some popcorn and Cola. I could still see the TV and hear the movie because our Kitchen and living room are connected. I walked back to the living room and sat on the couch. I said as I gave him a bowl of popcorn and a glass of cola. He said.
We then just watched the movie and I have to say, it's a pretty scary movie. There are so many jumpscares, that I even spilled some cola on the floor... As 45 minutes passed, the home telephone rang. As Deadfire paused the movie, I walked towards the phone and picked it up. I wondered who it was calling... A male police officer asked. I said. The officer said. My heart started to pound a little faster. My parents? what could've happend to them? He said. After I heard that it felt like time stopped. I yelled. Deadfire immediately turned around and looked at me in shock. I yelled and started crying. The officer said. Deadfire stood up and walked over to me. He asked very curious. I hang up on the officer and placed the phone back on the small table. I yelled. I hugged Deadfire and he hugged me back. I was crying so hard by now. Deadfire was speechless. I heard Deadfire sniff a little. He was crying. He usually never cries. He was rubbing my back with his hand to sooth me. I asked. Deadfire said. I said in a sad tone. he said.

As I was walking up the stairs, I noticed Deadfire was cleaning the popcorn and cola and he turned the TV off. I continued walking to my room. As I walked inside, I closed the door and laid down on my bed. I burst into tears again about the sudden death of my parents. I just could not believe it. Why did this had to happen?! I swear, when I find out who killed my parents, that person won't live any longer... I closed my eyes and tried to get some sleep. Eventually I drifted to sleep.
Me and Deadfire recently moved to the Fortnite Island. We purchased a pretty modern looking house in Paradise Palms. With the money we received from our parents, we were able to buy this house and I gotta say, I do like it a lot. I have my own walk-in closet and bathroom, and my bedroom is also pretty big. The kitchen and living room aren't as big as the ones in our old house but it is still spacious. We moved on from the death of our parents, but we will still remember them in our hearts forever. And I will still find the person who took our parents away from us and kill that person...
Me and Deadfire were on our way to this place called Loot Lake. Apparently its a pretty beautiful lake. But there was one problem: We couldn't find the way. I mean, we do live here for already a month but we didn't really explore the whole island. When we were walking to god knows where, I saw two figures walking our way. When they came closer I saw it was a boy with blond hair, a black mask, black pants and a red jacket with a black shirt underneath it. He looked pretty cute actually... And there was a girl walking next to him with also blond hair and a red kind of jacket and red shorts. She also wore a red hat and there was 'rescue' written on it.

The boy said. I blushed a little because he had a cute male voice. But thank god no one could see me blushing under the black bandanna I was wearing and also because the blush was pretty light. Me and Deadfire said at the same time. Drift said and smiled. I said and also smiled. Drift looked at me and I looked back at him. His eyes... SO CUTE. Oh uhm but back to reality. Sunstrider asked nicely. I said. Drift asked in excitement. I chuckled a little. I simply answered. I asked smiling. Drift said happily. Sunstrider said. Deadfire said. We were all so much excited. On the way to Loot Lake Drift showed around the Island. Now we at least kind of know the way to some places. When we arrived at Loot Lake I admired how pretty it was. It was also almost sun set so the water was extra beautiful. There was a random house in the middle of the lake. Weird... But I didn't really pay much attention to that.
Sunstrider and Deadfire were just talking as they sat on the grass. Me and Calamity also sat on the grass a few meters away from them. We were also talking about just casual stuff. I told her about me and Sunstrider being part of the SSDT. I learned so much stuff about her too. I also discoverd that she is Spanish/Latina so she taught me some Spanish words, which was really fun. I already started to like her as a friend. I liked the way she was really kind, sweet, her southern accent. I think Balfour Island had a western culture sort of. Until I asked what the reason was for them to move here, which I kind of regret for asking...
I asked sweat dropping. She said. I noticed a tear left her eye. I wiped the tear away and hugged her. I said as I got a bad feeling over me. She hugged me back. She said. When I broke the hug, I could slightly see her smiling under her bandana.
Deadfire said as he was walking towards us. Calamity said disappointed. I said with confident in my voice. Deadfire said with a bright smile. Sun strider said smiling. Calamity and Deadfire started to walk towards Paradise Palms.
