My Grandma Anna wasn't lying, my mother was in fact ill. I had found out she was diagnosed with stage five leukemia. How come my parents didn't tell me?I decided to go home for the rest of the day, even if Grandma Anna didn't want me too.
"Why?" It kept repeating. It was like a never ending cycle of repeats.
I ran a hand through my hair. 'Maybe I should try to call?'
"No, don't be stupid," I slapped my palms on my cheeks.
The Heartfilia Estate. I opened the door carefully, not wanting to draw any attention.
"Lucy? Honey, why aren't you at school?" Grandma Anna asked, coming down the steps.
"I'm couldn't focus," I passed my Grandma Anna, walking up the carpeted stairs.
"Your mother wants you to call her," I froze.
"M-mama?" I twisted on the balls of me feet looking at me Grandma.
"Mm, call her dear," My feet sprinted up the stairs, and I swung my backpack to the floor calling my mom.
"Hello?" She picked up...She actually picked up.
"M-mama?" I squeaked, scared she would hang up again.
"Lucy?!"
"Mama!" I cried into the cell phone.
Mama sighed happily, "Lucy, it's so great to hear your voice!"
"You too! Mama, when are you coming home?" I held my breath, hoping to get an estimate.
"Not for another two weeks," I let my breath go.
"Two weeks?!" I was shocked, two weeks!? That's so soon!
"Yes, Lucy! We're coming home." Tears came down my face faster than I could wipe them off.
"But Lucy," I listened intently on what she had to say.

"I-I don't have much longer to live," My hands shook, dropping the phone.
'I-I don't have much longer to live,' Mama.
"Mama, we can fight this!" I cry, gripping my phone tightly.
"I'm afraid it's too late, the disease has reached over 50% of my body." I gulped, my throat tightening.
Mama hung up not too long after, I sat there in a ball, crying. Why?
"Lucy, honey?" Grandma Anna peeked her head through the door, hugging my small frame tightly.
"It'll all be oka-"
"No it won't!" I screamed at her, running out the front door and slamming it.
Why? Why weren't my parents home more? Did the realize I'm still here? Throughout the last few weeks, I've noticed a difference in myself. It was like the real me was gone. I wasn't smacking Gray in the head, or calling Gajeel Metal Face. So, in order to fix all of my problems, I went to the one place I could.

Vol.1It's currently the year 3318 in Greenterra. After the great mystical war, humans had an agreement to stop making harmful chemicals for the environment. Kings and queens limited the outcome of Chlorofluorocarbons. Winters were back at their best, and summers weren’t as burning-hot anymore. Plants and trees were growing once again all over the world; the making of downtown urban cities and cars was banned; therefore, all the human-made chemical ozone depletion stopped. Consequently, allowing the planet to produce more magic; giving people and animals more magic-flow that they could use and inherit. Unfortunately, this massive increase of magic produced by the planet also awakened a slumbered entity that was sealed off millions and millions of years ago by archangels. It made a group named, 'Black Tombstone' whose objective is to kidnap people and drain them of their magic to recover the entity's power back to its prime. Many humans and other mystical creatures have been suffering by the uprising of this terrorist group. A smart guy named, 'Rukito' is caught up in all of this; he gets targeted by one of the members to die, since his parents are one of the wealthiest people in Greenterra, and one of the few that know how to work and develop magic. While this is all happening, a new member is adopted into his family, a mysterious girl named 'Kasai' that is distant and reserved is now living with him in this colossal mansion, making matters even worse. Vol.2He starts uniting a group of people to start the search for the divine gemstones, each one of them having a tragic but hopeful past. Jamie has previously written horror and romance (sometimes together!) as well as tons and tons of riveting TPS reports. (Late 90s cultural reference? CHECK). First of all, this is my first Invader Zim story. Second of all, I never even watched the show when it first came out, considering I thought I was too old to be watching a Nickelodeon TV show. It wasn't until a couple weeks ago when one of my favorite YouTubers, Saberspark, did a review on the new Invader Zim movie. He said a lot of good stuff about the show, and how much he love jt, so I decided to give it a try. I immediately started loving the show after watching the movie first (should have started with the TV show, but I wasn't thinking at the time and wanted to see ehh Saberspark liked it so much (>w>)) Anyway, this story will be taking place AFTER the movie, Invader Zim Enter the Florpus. It will be taking place a couple weeks, maybe a month, after the Florpus incident, so not much would have changed. Again, if you know the artist of the Cover Art used for this story, please tell me so I could credit them properly.
