"Lucy!" Levy yelled, Lucy was falling.
I grabbed Lucy, falling on my butt. I looked at Lucy. She was blacked out.
"We need to get her to the nurse!" Gray suggested.
"Before we go to the nurse, we need to go get a wet wash cloth," Levy argued.
"No, I refuse to go," Juvia took out hand sanitizer, putting some on.
"GUYS-"
"J-Jellal, you s-should h-help carry Lucy." Erza suggested.
"GUYS!" They all looked at me.
"I'll take care of her, okay? Go to class." Their eyes widened.
Gajeel looked at me, smirked, then turned to the rest of the group while they protested against me. "Guys, I think we should leave this to Natsu."
I watched as the group walked away, into the school. I jumped on my motorcycle, holding Lucy in my arms, and sliding the helmet on her head. Her limp body rested against my chest, with support of my arm.
I eventually made it to my apartment complex, holding Lucy.
"Wendy!" I shouted when I came in.
Wendy ran to the door with a smile. Her smiled faded when she saw Lucy. She immediately told me to put Lucy in my room.
"Wendy what's wrong with Lucy?" Wendy looked closely at Lucy.
"Natsu-nii," Wendy giggled, "Lucy is just sleep-deprived. She'll be fine."
A huge sigh of relief washed over us.
I received millions of texts throughout the day, all of them concerning Lucy. Lucy was still knocked out. I sighed, running a hand through my hair.
"Natsu-nii, Lucy is awake." Wendy smiled when she saw me jolt up.
I knocked.
"Come in," I walked in, seeing a confused Lucy.
"Hey Luce,"
"It's Lucy. I thought I told you that already," I chuckled.

"Luce is your nickname." She smiled, then it faded.
"Why am I here?" I sighed, walking over and sitting next to her.
"Lucy, you were so sleep-deprived that it knocked you out." She giggled.
"At least I got some sleep." She yawned and stretched.
"Here you go," Wendy handed Lucy something in a cup.
"Wendy, what's this?" Lucy asked, pointing to the cup.
"Herbal tea," Lucy nodded, lifting it up to her lips.
"Mmm," Lucy hummed, "This is good." Wendy smiled.
"LUCY, ARE YOU ALIVE IN THERE?!" We heard screams coming from the apartment door.
Lucy got up and opened the door, rubbing her head, "Why are you guys so loud?!"
"Lucy!" Levy, Juvia, and Erza tackled her in a hug.
"You're alive!" Gray sang.
"Of course I'm alive! I just blacked out you idiot!" Lucy smacked Gray upside the head.
"Yeah, she's defiantly okay." Jellal remarked.
"Do you want to be next?" Lucy looked at him with a creepy grin spreading across her face.
"N-no ma'am." Jellal shivered.
"Then I suggest you shut up," Levy smirked.
"Shut up shorty," Gajeel rolled his eyes as Levy started smacking his arms, and punching his chest.
"I'm going home," Lucy waved.
"Wait Lucy!" I yelled, catching her attention.
She looked back and grinned, "You wanna give me a ride home?"
I nodded.
Everyone followed us out, after telling Wendy I'd be back in a minute. Lucy and I walked down to my bike, and I took her home.
"Goodbye Natsu, thank you for the ride home," She slipped into the gate of the Heartfilia Estate, but it didn't look like anyone was home. Guess that's a story for another time, right?

The Infinite Labyrinth
(Story complete - Book 1 "Shanghaied", 2 "Shortcuts", 3 "Secrets" and 4 "Sanctions") It is the 19th century, and war smoulders between England and France. Any hope for a quick end to Napoleon's rampage across Europe ended when the Great Gates opened in 1800. For a fortunate few, the strange world of the Infinite Labyrinth offers opportunities, strange descriptors popping in their minds, informing them of growth, and status beyond that of a mere mortal. The materials and power crystal they bring back foster a new age, both military and civilian. Aether-powered Skyships prowl the skies, as all the great nations blessed by the Gates try to turn the blessings of the Labyrinth into immediate advantages. But for Jonas, an apprentice leatherworker, his friend Ira, and so many Londoners, the fabled ones that walk the Labyrinth are distant heroes, seen from afar. They fell short when their Potential was measured, and they fill their mundane lives with distant dreams. One man wants to break the stalemate. The Tyrant of the Dominion of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, has a plan. Eighteen years after the world changed, he will force it to change again. And when civilians are caught in the fallout, the unthinkable happens. Six people, unqualified, forbidden to ever enter the Labyrinth, find themselves stranded in a distant zone, forcefully turned into Professionals. They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They need to understand what the descriptors in their minds mean, what each of the strange piece of gear waiting in treasure chests behind terrible guardians can bring them. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.

Force Majeure: A web novel
In the Qursan Empire, the grey walls of the city press down on its subjects. It is a highly divided society which is based on the magical strength of its citizens. While the most powerful are trained as Mages, the majority of citizens use their limited skills with essence to power the city in their assigned jobs. Jano is pretty much the lowest of the low in the Qursan Empire. A Class Ten citizen forced into transitory work after having his power restricted. When he gets the opportunity to change all of that, he takes it with both hands. Please note this is an edited version of my story ‘city of captives’. It follows a similar structure but I’ve ironed out some of the kinks. If you read that version, much of this will be similar though there are some differences. This is a slow burning progression fantasy. Please expect at least two chapters per week. I love writing this story but I do have unfortunate things to deal with like work and life outside of writing. I may be able to write and edit more than that, but it will never be less! If you enjoy this, consider following me on Instagram by just searching Crow J Williams.
