The pack pulls up onto the campus, "It feels like we have been gone ages but at the same, like we only just left yesterday!" Groans Kaitlyn Summer chuckles and she helps unload their bags, "A-ah Finally! At least here I don't have to worry about that scorching sun" Connor stretches, Summer looks around for something, "That's something I'd expect Kayla to say. Huh? Where is Kayla? Did she go back to the pack house already? I swear she was in the car?" Kayla hides behind the suit cases' "Kayla? Why are you hiding behind the suitcases?" Kayla peeps over the top of them, "Kayla come here " she shakes her head and pops her head back down Connor whispers to Kaitlyn, "Why is he hiding?" Kaitlyn shrugs and Zenix nods, "Hasn't she been hiding the whole time we were on the cruise back?" Connor nods, Summer pouts, "Can you at least help with the bags?"
Kayla sighs and walks out from behind the suitcases, "Ugh Fine! But don't laugh at me" Summer stares at her trying to hold the laugh in but it bursts out making everyone else laugh, Kayla, hits her "I said don't laugh!" She crosses her arms and pouts embarrassed Kaitlyn laughs and Aaron chuckles, "What happened?" Kayla stamps her foot annoyed at them, "I said don't laugh at me!... It happened on the way back home on the cruise" Kaitlyn laughs "Ha! We were only on the boat for a few days and we saw you most of them, how did this happen?" Kayla pouts embarrassed, "I fell asleep, on the deck for a few hours and I sunburn easily OKAY!" Summer laughs and hugs her, "aww I think someone needs to take a nap you probably have heatstroke or something" Kayla pushes her away, "I'm not three I don't need naps to make my temper tantrum go away!" She stamps her foot childishly, "Come on Kayla when we get back to the pack house I'll help you with your sunburn"Kayla nods and Summer takes her bag and they go back to the house.

Sometime later....
"Ow Ow Ow OW it hurts so bad!" Kayla fight in the chair as Summer puts some soothing cream on her, "Well it wouldn't hurt as much if you would sit still" Kayla groans and digs her nails into the chair, "Ugh fine I'll try but the sunburn is the worst part of the cruise Ow!" Summer laughs and rubs more cream in, Aaron walks into the room seeing the two girls, "Wow that took a lot of effort! How's Kayla's problem going?" He chuckles and Summer laughs, "I would have been done putting soothing cream on it by now if she wasn't moving so much!" Kayla pouts cutely Aaron chuckles, "I may or may not have a surprise for you baby" Summer looks up at him with sparkling eyes, "Kayla can you hold on for a second I'll be right back" Summer runs off following Aaron down stairs, "Hey you can't leave me like that!" Kayla cries out. Aaron leads Summer outside where some faintish barking can be heard, "Okay close your eyes and no peeking at all, or else the surprise will be ruined" Summer nods and closes her eyes, Aaron leads her to the side of the house the barking got a bit louder, "Okay nearly and now you can open your eyes" Summer's eyes flutter open.
"OMG AARON A DOGGY IT'S ADORABLE!" summer jumps on Aaron hugging him "w-who's is he?" Aaron chuckles, "He's all yours! Long story short I went into town to see if I could get something like a cake for commemorating us moving in together soon and I was walking down the street and I saw a pet store with this Lil guy in it for sale he was the last of the litter to go, and I just couldn't say no to his cute little face he reminded me so much of my wolf sooo...I caved in and bought him"

Summer squeaks with happiness "Thank Thank Thank you so much I love him he's just so cute OMG I'm gonna die! Wait what's his name?" She looks up at Aaron, "Well I was talking to the store clerk and she says his name was Thunder that's what they nicknamed him since he was the runt, she told me he loved to sit at the window whenever there was a storm he loved listening to the thunder It kind of surprised me normally dogs are scared of storms" Summer smiles and picks the little puppy up, "What kind of dog is he? He's such a dark colour and so fluffy god look at your big ears little baby" She holds him close and strokes his soft fur, "The breeder said he was a Black German shepherd they're quite rare she said he was smaller than the rest so he got overlooked a lot when people came in" Aaron strokes his fur, "Welcome to the pack Thunder" Summer smiles and snuggles him close, "I can't thank you enough, Aaron, I love you and him so so much" She hugs them both tightly.

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.
8 190The Novel's Sidekick
Just because you can’t explain it, doesn’t make it a miracle. Something like that happened to Aaron, an introverted youth, who expected to live a normal, boring life. But it took a little for the expectation to go wrong. Who knew he would transmigrate into his favourite Web novel, Forbidden Realms? Waking up in the mysterious land, Aaron finds himself reincarnated as Scar, the loyal sidekick. But soon he found out it was not the only change. Magic still exists in Forbidden realms, with the blessing of the twelve heroes who had stood against the end of time in the sky-breaking, catastrophic war fifteen hundred years ago. Unfortunately, the end of time comes once again. From the bleeding moons in the broken sky, to the wind of the end that sweeps across the rocky terrain to the snow-filled land, all cry the foretell of desolation. Who will decide the fate of the Forbidden realms? The twelve heroes lost in the void of time. The Knights who lost half of their dominions. The order of Magi with broken high arts. The forsakers with their policy of non-intervention. Or the religious zealots and their dead God. Bearing the responsibility and knowledge imparted to him through the book, Scar unravels the mysteries shrouded in the pages of history and myth, while slowly developing his newfound powers and others to stand against the end of time. Follow Scar as he commands the ember in his heart, shouldering the love, hate, sorrow and frustration he never deserves, on his exciting journey to conclude the tale. _____________________ Special thanks to Mysteries (Editor) and kqwxz (proofreader) for showing enthusiasm in this book and working long hours along with me.
8 94Virtual reality: Sorp
Sorp is something bordering on what it is to be human. Perhaps he is more human. He has lived in squalor, his only family are the friends he grew up with. This is their journey through the new substitution for reality. In this virtual reality, they are given a purpose they never thought to seek out for themselves. To be more than hooligans. To be more than the bottom of the barrel. They do this in their own way. Unhindered by usual moral discrepancies. Ready to fight, kill and maim on a whim. Warning: This story does contain graphic descriptions of a sexual nature, violent fights, blood shed, gore and at times, crude language. There are also acts that are considered immoral or evil committed by main characters, so this story may not be for the faint of heart.
8 80The Cat's Eve
Suddenly the world is thrust into a seemingly benevolent system and the entire world changes and Caelum just happens to be stuck in school when this occurs. With the entire school diving into chaos can Caelum get his wits together and tackle this new world with determination. It probably helps that he has a trusty cat with him as well... 8 181Can a Lich Cry
Update every 1-2 weeks. Well, I say that, but I usually write during the weekdays and chill in the weekends. Should be the other way around, but writing helps me destress with schoolwork. The cover is a make-shift drawing I made some time ago. The Seven Kingdoms moved at the will of their prophets. They were the voices of their gods, and the deities wanted blood. After being caught in the crossfire, a young man named Sura died among the endless corpses. However, he inherited the Curse, and the Curse did not allow him to rest. When Titus conquered the Seven Kingdoms, he was still there. When mages became the new prophets, he was still there. Centuries later, the lich had faded into the unknown as the aide of Fia, the bastard mage and the only descendant of Titus. A dead man did not have anything to protect, so what did he fight for? For the game was not over, and it was still his to lose.
