That was not the reaction I was expecting. I totally thought he would go into denial or start questioning me on the how's and the why's, not... well this.
Kakashi was holding on to me, tears falling out of his showed eye. "I thought you were gone for good Kat- I mean Naruko. My mask buddy was gone!"
I patted him on the head awkwardly. "There there," I started while patting the grown man's' head, "let it out, I'm here now."
We continued on like this for another 20 minutes. Finally, Kakashi had calmed down.
"We should probably go see the Hokage now," I stated, rubbing the back of my neck. I started to stand up, but Kakashi grabbed my wrist and pulled me back down. "What was that for?" I questioned.
"You need to answer a few of my questions first," Kakashi simply answered.
I let out a sigh. It was only fair. "Fine, shoot."
"Does the Hokage know?" he started.
I answered with a simple, "no."
Kakashi scratched his head. "Not even the Hokage, huh?" he said mostly to himself. "Alright then, who does know?"
"Um, I'm pretty sure Hinata knows, Shino does for sure, along with Gaara, Haku, you, Granny Tsunade, and Pervy Sage," I counted, holding my fingers out to keep track. "I think that's it?"
"Okay then," the Copy Nin trailed, "final question."
"Shoot."
"When do you plan on revealing that you're a girl?" he finally asked.
I had to think a bit on this one. When am I going to reveal myself, if I ever do?
I shrugged my shoulders. "I'm not even sure why I have to keep it a secret in the first place, so that's kinda hard to answer."

Kakashi nodded then stood up, brushing the dirt off himself before helping me up. He went to give my arm a gentle tug.
"I'm satisfied now," he said shaking his head. "Do we even need to check your seal?"
"What happened to one more question?" I joked. "And of course not. Kurama and I are pals."
Kurama said quietly, shivering to himself at the thought of what Naruko made him do.
"What'd you say fur ball?" I asked loudly. Kakashi just looked at me weirdly.
Kurama responded quickly, not wanting to face Naruko's wrath.
I gave a satisfied smirk and turned to look at Kakashi. "Welp, Kurama's scared for now, so we don't have to go to gramps' office." I started to walk away, but Kakashi grabbed the collar of my shirt.
"Nope, we still need to go talk to the Hokage, I'm sure you heard the villager..." he trailed, his single eye lost in the memory.
"Don't worry, cyclops," I said, slapping his back, "I'm basically Jonin level now."
"Two months is a long time Naruko," he chided. "They must have something big planned if they're going to wait that long. Probably something to get me out of the picture so they can take out you..."
I scoffed at his words. "What can a few civilians do against you, the Copy nin? And you know that when I wield my pool noodle, I'm practically unstoppable."
Kakashi rubbed his forehead. "But you can only wield the pool noodle when you're angry or ticked, and if they catch you by surprise..."
I slapped him in the back; hard. "Don't be such a worry wart. I'll be fine Elsa."
He looked at me incredulously, "Who's Elsa?"
Kurama yelled.

"HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO TELL YOU?!" Screamed Editor-san.
"GEEZ NARUKO!" Author-sama yelled in frustration. "I swear, these characters..."
Kakashi looked at me. "Did you hear that too, or am I going crazy?"
"Yup and no, you're not, but maybe I am."
"Does that usually happen?"
"Yup."
"Ok then."
We began to walk to the Hokage's office like the two supreme beings behind this story didn't just yell at me. After a bit of walking (and me henging back into Naruto), we finally made it to his office door- which I didn't feel like opening.
"Sup gramps?" I yelled, kicking down the door, making it fly and hit the old Hokage's face. "Kakashi wants to talk to you 'bout something."
Comically, the door slowly fell off the old man's' face- practically in slow-mo. "What did he do now?" He asked in an irritated tone.
"It's more like, what's going to happen to him in two months, sir."

8 102Kichiro's Rampage
Meet Kichiro, the son of a samurai. A social outcast, he leaves his home with nothing but a musket and a sword, determined to carve himself a niche in a chaotic world of dragons and leviathans. This fiction incorporates LitRPG elements, but it's not set in a VR. It's set in a fantastical world based loosely on East Asia in the 16th and 17th Century, when the Ming Dynasty was on its last legs, with the addition of magic and monsters. I totally stole the stat tables from Exterminatus, the author of Everybody Loves Large Chests, so let me credit him for that. I'm new to writing so please don't hesitate to criticise, and reviews would be greatly appreciated.

The Final Dungeon and its crippled Mother are forced to fight for their lives against a revolting pantheon, unhinged zealots, and the occasional adventurer. Do they even stand a chance?
