《Going Back to You (A Madara Uchiha fanfiction)》Chapter 21- Back

Madara could not believe his eyes.
Being far away from the others, he could not hear their conversation though he knew it took a serious turn. Another great enemy was right in front of him, but he wouldn't care if it was just any other enemy. He could defeat them easily. This was an entirely different matter, however, since the damned alliance expected him to fight a woman who looked so much likeher.
He could still remember how she looked, how she was in his arms, how she looked at him, how they spent the short time they had together, yet it was the best times of his life. For a moment, he could forget the problems of the clan, the village to-be, the conflict with the Senju. He felt at peace for once, yet she was cruelly snatched from his arms at the same time as his brother.
He gritted his teeth, fists clenched. He felt his blood boiling. Damn wench! How could she appear in front of him with that appearance? The even had similar strength except he couldn't believe the woman in front of her could easily overpower the Nao he had known.
He longed to touch her again, spar with her again, kiss her again, make love to her again, He knew he couldn't do that anymore. She was gone. The Senju had done this. The village. It was as if the whole world was against his happiness.
Yet as he took notice of the woman with the hokage in front of him, he remembered her. He remembered the times they spent together, their first meeting in their special place, their second meeting, their wedding, their first kiss, the walk late at night, making love. He missed them all. Hell, he even remembered her jealousy and possessiveness when a woman tried to flirt with him, and he smirked at the memory. It only made him fall for her even more. That woman managed to make him crazy after so many years. She was the only woman to have made the great Uchiha Madara fall in love.

He yearned for her touch. If he could turn back time, he would. He would've ran, gone and protect her. He was too late. The what-ifs had plagued him for years. Nightmares made him wake up in the middle of the night trying to hold her in his arms yet waking up to the reality that she was gone. Her warmth wasn't there. Her usual remarks and comforting touch wasn't there. It was all their fault. They took her away from him.
He took a deep breath.
Aimed.
Fired.
A great fireball came the alliance's way. They were prepared. In his moment of hesitation, they had managed to make big walls of earth and a big barrage of water balls came his way. It was diminished at once.
A whole fight ensued. Kaguya had even appeared. People died. The alliance was desperate. Even if they had the kages, they still seemed to be powerless.
Madara cursed. The woman in front of him made him weak.
She looked like Nao.
She acted like Nao.
She was Nao.
The sudden realization hit him like a wall of bricks. How had he not noticed before? It should've been obvious, yet he just wanted to deny it. It wasn't possible? How had this happened? He looked back at the woman in front of him but was suddenly hit by a fireball from the same woman. He had managed to barely block it with another attack but he had damage.
The others rejoiced. Madara Uchiha had been damaged, yet the woman in front of him seemed to only have shock in her face. She seemed like she didn't want to hurt him. She seemed in pain to see him hurt even if he was only a reanimated figure, not even a live human anymore.
He didn't want to see her pained face. She had grown older, he noticed, yet she was still the same beautiful woman he met in the past. He looked over to the two young teenagers beside her and that made him stop in his tracks.

Were those their children? Had he almost killed their children? He did.
He almost lost two more important people in his life, but he had to remind himself Nao was alive. She was also set on stopping him.
Suddenly, he felt as if he lost his purpose.
He walked over to her.
The spineless ninjas cowered but he didn't care.
Nao was there. Their children was there.
Only Izuna...
"Nao?"
He seemed almost afraid that he got it wrong even if he was now sure she was his.
He could've sworn he saw a faint smile cross her face as they seemed to talk telepathically. She seemed to understand him even if he didn't speak. He loved that about her. She understood.
It was almost there, his purpose. After all these years of being lost, he had found his way back, back to her.
"Why? How?"
He almost seemed broken and that broke her.
Hashirama seemed to understand as well as he grinned. His old friend had found peace. Now to end the war.
All seemed well.
It seemed the war would end until something pierced from his behind. His eyes widened. How could he have forgotten even for a moment?
Kaguya Otsutsuki
He fell.
He couldn't recall after that but he heard war cries and screams everywhere.
His eyes widened a fraction, however, when he saw just who fell beside him after a while of fighting. He felt his consciousness fading but the sight in front of his fallen figure broke him.
Nao!
She grunted in pain as she got stabbed unexpectedly through her heart as she got surrounded by the enemy. She wasn't her usual self. She was coughing violently when it occurred.
The war was over after a while, but he couldn't get over the fact that Nao fell beside him and couldn't survive until the end.
She coughed again and gave their children a reassuring smile as they fought back their tears as her dying form.
"Mom!"
"It's fine, Masato, Mai. I would've died...sooner anyway since this is...a side-effect of the jutsu. I'm just...glad I got to raise...you two," she said, gradually growing weaker. "Also, I'd..." She cast a a glance in his direction. She seemed happy.
The two followed her gaze and saw their father.
This really wasn't the ideal family reunion.
They didn't even expect to meet him.
"...Father?" Masato spoke up first.
He felt tears threatening to come out though he held them back. He wanted to hear that word.
"Is he really...?"--Mai.
Nao only nodded and they cast unsure glances at him before they smiled despite their trembling lips. They had been trained not to show emotion, but they could right? The war was over. Everyone else was crying though for a different reason though some cried for their losses.
They looked at each other and cried.
Madara, for the first time since Nao's and Izuna's death, cried.
His consciousness was fading. Any minute now...
"Thank you..., Masato. Thank...you, Mai. I...love you. Nao, I missed you."
She sent him a weak smile.
"I'm back."

Hi guys! Firstly, I'd like to thank you readers for reading this and even taking the time to actually despite the slow updates. I'm a bad writer for making you wait like this. I don't even have an excuse. I'd really like for you to tell me what you think, however! That would be a great honor! :D
It finally ended T^T
Even though I'm so lazy to write, I'd kinda miss writing this to be honest.

Double-Blind: A Modern LITRPG
Choosing a college when your family is struggling can be difficult, but it isn’t supposed to be world ending. And the falling meteor is seriously limiting Matt’s options. Now in the aftermath, his home city is locked down by a mysterious dome, corporations are looking to monopolize a wealth of new untapped resources, and people are suddenly developing powers via a system that seems to have borderline sinister intentions. In the chaos, he decides to stick to what he knows: stay out of the spotlight, grind, and survive. Watch as Matt is dragged into a dark LITRPG set in the real world, where the price of failure is death, and the prize for winning is beyond his wildest dreams. ++++++++++++++++++ There’s a couple big influences here: Solo-Leveling, Squid Game, and Code Geass. If you enjoy LITRPG stories with morally gray characters, high stakes, and smart protagonists who start weak and eventually become powerful in a unique way, you’ll probably find something to like. But be forewarned. It won’t be easy. I'll be writing this fast, so keep in mind there's likely to be typos that we'll correct as we go. Developmental Editing by Lev.

War Beast
The future is savage. Jenny Summer is a news reporter who hates her job. One day, an accident sends her through a time portal, straight into the distant future. A future of warring Beastmen tribes, deadly monsters, and magic from beyond the imagination. When the savage world is full of many threats, how will the average modern-day girl survive? Author's Note: This is a rewrite of my fiction with the original title. Instead of changing my chapters in my other draft, I made a copy with a different beginning and a few new chapters. The beginning will move straight to the fantasy world like most Isekai light novels. As usual, each chapter will go between 500 and 2,000 words. I deleted the other draft since this draft will be my focus. Enjoy and let me know what you think of this new draft. There may also be grammar and spelling errors too. This series is still in development.
