《The Entire Sky | Madara Uchiha》55

Spring was in full bloom in Konoha. The village sprung to life once more as sakura blossoms colored the treeline surrounding the small Hyuga clan graveyard. Only a handful of people had been interred here, Mina and her father among the few.
Sen and Sora walked silently through the graveyard, paying respects to the other Hyuga buried there before kneeling in front of the markers that bore their sister and father's names. They placed a handful of flowers on each mound and then sat by the graves in total silence.
Sen recalled old memories of Mina and her father. Times that hadn't felt anywhere damn near as confusing as the present did. She desperately wanted to hide herself in the past; however, she knew life was not to be spent in that fashion. With a gentle breath, she spoke, "I miss them, Sora."
"Me too," he whispered.
She wiped a single tear away from her eye and asked, "If Father were still alive, do you think he would approve of what Mizura is doing?"
Sora shook his head. "Not even Mother approves, but she has no influence over Mizura, so we're left to his whim. I wish there was more I could do, Sen. I tried speaking with him several times, but he refused to listen. I'm sorry... I feel like I'm letting you down."
"Stop," she ordered him. "We're bound to figure something out..." She paused, not believing her own words. She looked to her brother with pleading eyes, begging him for reassurance as she choked out, "Right?"
He lay his hand on her shoulder and sighed. There was no solution that either of the siblings had come up with yet that wouldn't lead to village-wide instability. Any deaths would most likely cause a riot between the clan of the killer and the slain. The last thing Sen and Sora wanted to do was cause Konohagakure to become war torn.

The thought of her and Madara defecting from Konoha had briefly crossed Sen's mind; however, she immediately negated that idea. She could never leave Karasu, Yama, Yuudai, or Sora. Madara would probably be fine with the idea, as he had mentioned before that Konoha was a failure, but Sen couldn't stomach the thought yet.
Of course, the boys always could go with them, she then thought. However, that idea was scrapped as well. Her and Madara couldn't just whisk three kids away, and convincing Sora to leave the village would be damn near impossible.
Even if Sora and the boys left the village with her and Madara, it would turn them all into criminals. They would be hunted down by the Hyuga and Senju and inevitably found. She trusted in her and Madara's ability to protect them; however, a life on the run was no childhood. She wanted to keep the boys out of this as much as possible. A clear path had yet to become apparent to Sen, but she would continue to think.
"Everything feels fuzzy nowadays..." Sen began rambling. "I'm beginning to lose faith, Sora, and I can't seem to stop it. When the boys asked me about the marriage, I promised them it was going to be okay... That we would figure something out... But now, I just don't know..."
"Ironically enough, certainty is a very uncertain thing. We never know what waits around the corner, Sen," he replied. "Keep your head up. This isn't over yet. We're gonna fight it, yeah?"
"Yeah," she mumbled quietly.
Sora sent his sister a warm smile and nudged her with his foot as he said, "You just need to go somewhere quiet, think for a bit and relax. You know?"
"Mhmm... Thanks for listening, Sora."

With a wink and a pat on her knee, he spoke, "It's what brothers are for."
She let a little smile appear as she chuckled softly, "Brothers... How did I end up with two on complete opposite spectrums?"
"Life's funny like that."
"I guess," she responded. "But Sora..."
He met her eyes while she searched his face, looking for the right words to say. She finally pursed her lips and whispered, "Thank you, really, for always being by my side. You've truly been my dearest friend since the beginning."
Sora's face was illuminated by her praise. He wore a proud smile and raised his eyes to the clouds. The sky began turning from its gentle blue hue into a warmer display of orange and pink. The colors mixed together as the clouds lay among them lazily enjoying the rest of their day. For a while, Sen kept her eyes up at the sky as well while it continued its descent into darkness.

Rupegia
"You may now kiss the bride." But no kiss ever came. I'm ripped from my wedding and thrown into a medieval fantasy world with game-like elements. It may seem like a game, but that doesn't matter to me, because this is my reality. The pain, the hunger, the cold, the fear, it's all real to me. Alone, without knowing why I'm here, in a world where I know nothing and nobody, I decide to buy a Blood Slave to have someone I can trust. She brings me comfort and so much more. She helps me raise my head high again and bravely move forward. Together, we'll grow stronger. Together, we're unbreakable. But she won't be the only one by my side. We need more than just each other, for I know that my purpose in this world can't be accomplished with only her help. Monsters and dungeons plague the land, forcing civilization to protect themselves from the hordes with tall walls and fierce determination. Killing monsters is a daily need, but they aren't the only enemy here. I have a powerful "Gift" that allows me to change my "skill points" at will, but if others were to know about it, there would be many that would try to use me by any means possible. Step by step, moment by moment, day by day, we keep moving forward, always aiming to improve our strength. One day, we'll meet our Fate, and we'll be ready for it. Swords held high, shields tightly strapped to our arms, wings spread apart, spells at the tip of our tongues, minds focused like blades, and our hearts hardened like steel. We'll take on whatever comes our way! --------------------------------------------- New chapters Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8PM US East. At least 3k words each. Additional Tags: Psychological, Romance, Magic, Male Lead, Portal Fantasy/Isekai/Transmigration, Polygamy, Slaves Content Warning: gore, profanity, sexual content (most of it has been censored) (male/female, female/female, and human/non-human(not for the faint of heart)), traumatizing content What to expect: Slow story focused on the day-to-day life of a transmigrated man rather than on the plot. The plot exists but it very slowly becomes relevant. Also, slow character progress. It's a long journey, so don't expect a hero to grow in just a few chapters. Detailed environments and extensive world-building. Realistic and tactical combat instead of flashy. Protagonist with a cheat but far from overpowered. Lots of descriptive sex scenes (though most got censored here). It's treated as just another part of life instead of merely fan-service. A harem where the members actually enjoy living with each other. Occasional weird wording and grammar, English isn't my first language. Shaman
*** Let's get this clear now: the MC is a trans woman. This is not a gender-bender. It's set in a fantasy world but the exploration of identity and gender is reality-based. Not a joke, not a kinky turn-on. If this is a problem for you, please just act like an adult and look elsewhere for something to read. *** Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 2 x 5*, 1 x 4.5*, 1 x 3*, no reasons offered. A human shaman and healer returns from several years with the mysterious shyani, accompanied by her shapeshifting puma best friend. A valued friend, from her previous identity as a male student physician, has acquired an old shyani book, and extremists will not tolerate its presence in human hands. But back in human lands, the question arises: which world does she belong in? Generations ago, human explorers found a continent inhabited by an utterly alien culture of shapeshifting weyres and the shyani, humanoids who prefer dusk and dawn. A truce of sorts was eventually reached: humans claimed the rich lowlands, and the shyani and weyres retain the highlands. Along the border, practicality often rules, but on either side, old grudges linger in some hearts. As a student physician, Corin tried to take his own life, unable to bear the countless tiny wounds inflicted over twenty-one years of lying to himself in order to be, or pretend to be, socially acceptable. At the last improbable instant, intervention came, in the form of a spirit fox, who led him away from the existence he’d known in the lowlands and into the highlands. There, a puma weyre rescued him, and a shyani shaman helped him find his true self and offered a rebirth, a life with no more lies, and an important role to fill. Now a shaman and healer in her own right, Vixen who was once Corin learns that the one human who mattered to her in her previous life, then a fellow University student, has come into possession of an old shyani book, and the more fanatical shyani and weyres will stop at nothing to reclaim it and punish Jared. Even though it means going back into the lowlands and facing Jared as a woman, she can’t bear to just look the other way. This should be a short visit, just long enough to see the book into the proper hands and make sure Jared will not be killed for having it, and then she can return to the shyani community that has accepted her as their shaman. And, of course, her feline best friend Dayr insists on coming with her. But Jared is now a Lord, with considerable wealth and power, and his response to her presence isn’t one she expected. After years living with the shyani, she sees everything around her from a new perspective, and that makes it difficult to keep to the plan of making as few waves as possible. As an honoured guest in a highborn house, with only Jared aware that she has ever been anyone else, Vixen finds herself questioning where she belongs: with Dayr and the shyani, who accept her gender without question but have to make allowances for her differences, or with humans, in the culture she grew up in even though her past would mean a major scandal? *** Trigger warning: there are scenes of Vixen's previous life, which include some difficult moments and culminate in an (obviously unsuccessful) attempt at suicide before she finds her true self and a better life. Please be careful! This is the ONLY reason for the "Traumatising Content" tag.*** Complete stand-alone novel, 96K words. Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.
