《The Entire Sky | Madara Uchiha》50

Her mind was a scrambled mess. Had Sora known about this? If he did, how could he not have told her? Or was that what Mizura and him had been discussing right before dinner? How could her mother be okay with marrying off a replacement daughter, and so soon after Mina's death? Accusatory questions rolled through her mind as she ran through the village.
Her heart ached as her feet mechanically carried her to the Uchiha compound. She saw the familiar gates with the paper fan crest and breathed easier, knowing she was close to being with Madara. As she reached his house, she saw him already standing out front.
She stopped running and stood in front of him, her breaths racing. Madara noticed how distressed she looked and it made sense why he was able to detect her chakra so strongly. With her chakra like this, she must be raging mad. I wonder what happened at their dinner, he thought.
He asked what was wrong, but she couldn't speak just yet. Instead, panting and anger prevalent in her face, she threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly. He was confused by her behavior, but wrapped his arms around her as well.
Once her breathing had settled and her anger subsided by Madara's warm hug, she pulled away from him and said, "They told me that I'm to marry Tobirama."
"Sen..." he began, "Are you serious?" Her words brought a pause to his heartbeat. Part of him had yet to process what she was saying as he searched her face for some sign of a joke. Yet, there was none.
"You are..." he whispered mostly to himself. He felt anger building throughout him, threatening to rip him into shreds as he thought of a million ways to make the Senju and Hyuga pay.

Sen watched as his face turned dark. She had never seen him look so furious as he growled, "I'm going to kill them."
"No, Madara... please don't."
"I'm not going to allow Mizura to torture you, Sen! Fuck him for thinking this is okay!" he shouted, pushing away from her and raking his hands through his hair in frustration.
The Hyuga girl's pale eyes shone up at him and she lay her hand on his arm. His eyes closed at her reassuring touch as she spoke again, "Madara... No... We'll figure it out. Okay? Okay? Just please don't do anything irrational."
Sen paused and then added, "Promise me that you'll never kill my brother. No matter what happens."
"I can't promise you that."
"Madara," she protested. "As much as I hate him, he's our clan leader. You killing him would cause a world of trouble and you know it. So don't." Her voice was borderline threatening as she held his endless dark eyes in gaze.
"Sen," he sighed, annoyed at his inability to argue with her. She didn't even have to try in order to win an argument with him and it frustrated him to no end. However, he raised his hand to her face and began whispering, "The thought of losing you..." He trailed off with a sigh as he shook his head and pulled her into his embrace.
"I'm not going anywhere without a fight, Madara," she stated reassuringly. She was no longer angry, but resolved to challenge this tooth and nail. Mizura wasn't going to control her. She refused to let him dictate her destiny.
"Let's go to the mountain, yeah?" the Uchiha asked.
She smiled in agreement and chuckled as Madara lifted her into his arms. She lay her head on his shoulder while he darted up to the top of their usual spot. He let her down and she fell back onto the grass, her long hair splaying around her wildly. She patted the grass beside her and motioned for Madara to join. He did so with little persuasion and let out a long breath, releasing the tension in his body.

They were quiet as they watched the marvelous black void. The sky seemed brighter tonight, Sen noticed. She twirled a piece of her hair and asked, "Do you think the stars ever get lonely up there?"
He hummed quietly as he thought before answering, "No, not when they have the moon."
"I always wondered as a child," she replied wistfully. Her eyes remained focused on the dark sky as she continued, "and hoped that they didn't feel alone."
Madara was silent in response. He chuckled to himself silently at her purity and way of seeing the world through realistic optimism. The greatest pleasure of his life had been getting to know and love her. She radiated calm and warmth everywhere she went, managing to bring a smile to even the most distraught of people. It was something he had never been capable of, but respected when others had the ability.
However, he knew behind her bright smile that she was terribly sad. Her father's death had simmed her smile and the subsequent loss of her sister had shattered her heart entirely. Now, her asshole brother had continued the terror with a marriage arrangement between her and Tobirama. It was seemingly one thing after another and she had carried it all so well. Madara knew that she had suffered a great deal of blows over the past months and he wasn't sure if he could even fix the type of pain she had endured. But how he longed to.
Sen whisper broke into his thoughts. In a barely audible voice, she said, "Sometimes I feel like a star... Lonely and desolate."
"You could never just be a star, Sen," Madara shook his head as a trace of a smile spread across his face. "Not when you're the entire sky."
Heat prickled at her cheeks and she was thankful that the darkness helped conceal her pink skin. She thanked Madara in a small voice as he stole small glances of her from the corner of his eye. He noticed her blush and smiled to himself, pleased that he was able to evoke emotion from such a fascinating creature.
She reached for his hand and held it gently as they silently kept their eyes on the dancing sky.

In a further future where technology advanced by leaps and bounds, the space agency Spirit Pagoda developed a new technology: a bracelet which teleports one to other planets and can extract loot from monsters in form of coins. Seven of the new-found planets are full of treasures and rare resources. The so-called Spirit Realms. Because the Spirit Realms are too massive for the Spirit Pagoda to explore and exploit on their own, they opened the Spirit Realms for everyone to live, train, and work in. Yet unknown creatures inhabit the Spirit Realms. Everyone who goes there has to set their life on the line.
