《Aquila. [Uchiha Madara ]》Chapter XXII

Seriously? Who does he think he is?
I growled menacingly to myself. Kenta started to rapidly swift on his feet towards me.
To most shockingly I started to wield some hand signs. After Aiko died he gave me something, something I could never forget him by.
Mito who stood behind me 'puffed' up her chest next to me; full of fierce and annoyed by this complexity. I wouldn't blame her either of this indignation.
I growled irritably to myself in disclosure. What is with him? Anger issues?
"Shakuton: Kajōsatsu!"
"Scorch style user?" Mito mumbled faintly beside me. "Mito get out of here! Inform the Hokage, I will deal with this!" I growled, my blood spiked underneath my skin.
I gulped deeply as flaming orbs that resemble like small suns maneuver its way towards me.
I started to quickly move out of my way to dodge the three orbs. Every move I make they seem to almost contiguous touch me.
These orbs aren't normal!
Scorch release? Some kekkei Genkai...
I started to fuse my Fire Chakra with Wind Chakra to make a stronger Fire Release within me.
Known as the Phoenix Release.
"Fenikkusu Sutairu: Fenikkusu Saisei!"
I held two fingers just beneath my chin focusing my chakra in order to perform this technique perfectly.
My features change during this Jutsu indeed. My hair isn't the dull red anyone would say. The outer eerie glow irradiated my hair in the sunlight. As the black markings that embossed my eyes advanced.
In this mode, I can sense his chakra from miles. At least I can say, I have been doing some training.
I hurriedly rushed on my feet to find Hashirama, oh why couldn't any of this not of happen?
My husband isn't even in his office.... I hung my head low; thinking of places.
"Mito!" I snapped my head up to see Senju Konjuro who bowed slightly as I held my head up.
Konjuro was a middle aged man with quite odd features for someone to be a Senju. But he is a strong capable Shinobi who stood by my husband at his fullest till this day.
"Konjuro, this is no need to chat. Have you seen Hashirama-san?" I asked and stared at him for a moment. My eyes soon landed to his injured arm that he cradled closed to him. He shook his head sternly and was about to walk away.
"You're injured?" I slanted my head off to my right side as Konjuro hadn't said a word.
"Inform the infirmary, as I...have to go." I turned around and left the building; my heart pounding in my chest constantly.
Ugh! Where could Hashi, be? I hope Aquila-san is doing alright.
Hashirama is probably with Tobirama-kun somewhere... He never tells me anything, everything is so confidential to me.
I started to hustle on my feet towards the Uchiha compound, perhaps Madara could help? Since he was close to her, I think?
Who am I kidding...
"Mito?"
I nearly gasped as I turned around on the balls of my feet.
"Hashi!" I gasped and ran towards him as he engulfed me into a warm affectionate hug that felt ardently to me... I felt so much safe in his arms and he still smells like old pine trees that I loved. Something I loved about him was his scents.
"This is unusual..." Hashirama rubbed his temple confusingly. As I parted from him gently.
"Hun, something... Something has happened," I stuttered not knowing what to say really.

"Hmm? What has?" He looked at me down placing his hands on my shoulders.
"It is Aquila," I finally spoken which took him to proceed what I said.
"What do you mean Aquila?" Another voice which I presume it belongs to.. Madara.
Both of them stood next to one and another as I explained the situation of what happened; Madara wasn't the patient one. He glared sharply as he began to speak but was cut off.
"I can feel Aquila's chakra... It is depleting somehow," Hashirama spoken nimbly not pleasant by the feeling he was showing. "Well what you aforementioned about the situation, then I am going to find her. I won't let this one go like last time," Madara turned to leave as I was stunned, couldn't move.
Like last time?
"Hashi? We can't let him face this guy alone," I placed my hand in his as we gazed softly into each other's eyes. I smiled delicately, as he nodded holding a grin.
"You're right, Aquila is now a citizen. I wouldn't let threats near the sake of this village." Hashi-kun frowned as we both relinquished from each others affection and left the scenario and towards the way Aquila was last detected.
Every hit and blow Kenta discharged his attacks and stood back. Aquila convulsed feeling agitated, her breathing was abundant in her lungs as she was close enough to collapse at any given moment.
Panting as the ground held her still; she dared not to move quite yet. Cuts and bruises formed on Aquila's ethereal skin, but she still was holding her ground cautiously.
How long can she keep up this delinquent act?
"Just give up! I can't let you live through the pain and suffering I had been through for so long! I was alone and wanted to die a long time ago, but this....is something I have longed for," Kenta snarled fusing more of his chakra as his aura changed like the dark side of the moon.
"Shakuton: Shokyaku Furea!"
Aquila couldn't move as the three flaming orbs emerged into one enormous one to combine its strength drastically.
"I guess this is the end for me..." Aquila grimaced while she astoundingly awaiting her lastingly death. Maybe this won't be as painful...
"Promise me something, that you'll protect those closest to you, even in death," Aiko-sama's words rung her head. Maybe she can see Aiko-sama again... In the afterlife?
Gritting her teeth bearably as she closed her eyes wishing she was invulnerable to this.
"Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku!"
She felt her heart pound harder like a drum in her chest. Why? Did he... She couldn't move nor lift her head up even the slightest to catch what was going on.
Her hands dug into the ground beneath her; feeling her consciousness drain away from her slowly. She tried to maintain her composer and keep her eyes expose to the light as much as possible. But the way things are heading, it may not be granted as she was hoping.
"M...Mad-" Aquila couldn't even speak as her voice cracked, even Madara frowned in disappointed and felt himself rage in content.
He hated seeing her like this, he knew she needed to retreat back but she couldn't move in her place and state in mind.
"This is not your place to be! None of this concerns you Uchiha! Aquila is the red fiery Phoenix who I will be glad to take out of this world," Kenta barked at the Uchiha who activated his Sharingan that showed enmity towards him.

"Touch her and I swear you won't leave here alive," Madara growled glaring his eyes sharply at Kenta who stood a few meters in front.
This was all a fragment of hindrance itching its way into Madara who clenched his jaw together. "Oh please, because of her and your disgraceful clan, I lost everything!" Kenta sneered in abhorrence towards the Uchiha.
But as Kenta was about to dash towards him, Hashirama and Mito arrived promptly. Mito rushed to Aquila's side; panic written on her mere face.
"Hashi! We must tend to her," Mito held Aquila close to her chest as she felt her stir uncomfortably. As for Kenta, he watches with revulsion. He loathed them all but he knew he couldn't take them the three on at once.
"This.... I won't let the Phoenix rise the next time we meet, in the meantime I will spare your pathetic lives!" Kenta roared throwing down a smoke bomb and 'poof' he was gone within a flash. His chakra was depleting meaning he wasn't anywhere nearby.
As of Hashirama, he was helping with Aquila's injuries, nothing major of course as he scanned over her body. He described her minor third-degree burns on her upper arms.
'So she did put up a fight, but who was he?' Hashirama contemplated for a bit before Madara came back after his short search for the blue hair shinobi.
"Is she alright?" Madara looked over to the two apathetically. But Hashirama and Mito couldn't put words to it; if she was alright or not.
"I... I don't know," Mito muttered as she tensed up quite a bit. Her lip trembled while laying Aquila's head back down onto her lap.
"What do you mean you don't know? No what, forget it. Just tend to her!" Madara was growing impatient at the two. Hashirama just sighed and started his Mystical Palm Technique, to help the healing process of her burns and small cuts she also had inflicted on her skin. Also to replenish some of her chakra back.
I couldn't stop staring at Aquila who's head laid peacefully in Mito's lap. I couldn't put any words to what exactly happened, but now I am more than deranged by the fact that he... Touched her, wounded her badly, raged out at her!
With Hashirama and Mito around I wouldn't want to show my demented side. I let this guy lived and for what cost? I mentally hissed myself for letting him get away so easily. There won't be no slipping away next time...
But even in the end Aquila winded up injured... again. I couldn't protect Izuna and now I couldn't protect her. I wanted to punch, kick and kill something at the thought of all of this. She could have lost her life for being so reckless. But I shouldn't be mad or even disappointed in her.
"Okay, I think that we managed to help with the injuries she had, but however.... we don't know how long she will be out for," Mito explained as I turned my head off to the side and tacit letting my ebony hair fall in front of my face. I couldn't bring my head up to have them notice the grief I had stored in me.
"Let's head back, I expect nothing of this to spread." I promptly say narrowing my eyes at the two. I slowly walked over to them and took the crimson haired woman that laid unconscious in Mito's arms and gently lifted her up close to me; her head leaning against my right shoulder comfortably.
"I will carry her back and seek through the infirmary, she will get better treatment there," I informed them as Hashirama sighed deeply; shaking his head full of thoughts.
I was growing bold at this but shook my head before Hashirama began to open his mouth to say something. "I will have a few assigned guards to keep watch over her in the meantime. No guarantee that this guy would come back though," he stated as I didn't bother to reply.
If he comes back, I wouldn't hesitate to kill him with my bare hands if he is stupid enough to come back.
I started to reminisce of what Ramiko said a few months back when Aquila wasn't around...
"Maybe... but I think Takuto has many assassins working for him, don't you think?"
I really doubt that guy would have been involved since it has been over two years from last I saw him... But no doubt that Ramiko could be right.
As we reached the village I sent a few of my clansmen to take her to the infirmary for a quick check up, I couldn't stand of the thought of this being in more less good of conditions.
Hashirama has not been feeling himself lately, someone isn't right. A lot of things isn't right, but I don't know anymore.
"Madara!" a familiar voice ripped me out of my forceful thoughts. Gaia seemed to be getting on my nerves lately. She rushed forward towards me stopping in front with a curious glint of suspicion written on her face.
"What do you want?" I growled annoyingly at the silver-haired woman. Who then smiled rationally, "I heard what happened Madara-sama. It must be a surprise not to be there when she was beaten to a pulp by the unknown shinobi that infiltrated the walls here," Nikko Gaia seethed through her teeth as my blood spiked at her acrimony comment.
"You have no right to speak to me in such manners! Aquila is none of your concern Gaia, and you should leave others alone and not be a pest." I was about to walk off before she grabbed my wrist.
"W-Why do you speak so lowly of me... your own fiancé! It was a blessing by the council and by our fathers to which they all agreed on us to be destined to be with one and another," Gaia stammered quite thoroughly as my face showing off a disdain unpleasant look at her, I gritted the bits of my teeth at the woman. She dared not go there...
"It was an arrangement between the council and our fathers, that now I took controlled of my own self, I think that I am capable of making my own decisions. Don't start thinking you could deceive me with your own tricks. I knew your father was bluffing when he said he will rage down on me with his whole army against mine. But now my business is none of yours. I don't belong to you Gaia nor you do to me." I raised my voice as she was aggravating every nerve in my body about now. But I just stormed off passed her as she stood rather shocked by my words. But I need to think now, I can't let any more stupid conundrums occur again.
