《Gentle Turbulence - Uchiha Madara Love Story》Chapter 40 - Staying

Madara pov:
Mio and I married huh? It didn't sound like a bad idea at all.
I was surprised when she said that in front of Hashirama and Tobirama. She had dragged me half way across Konoha because she had to 'announce' something but I hadn't expected it to be this. In fact, I was quite surprised at how she had changed since yesterday.
I had been holding in my anger because of how she had been avoiding me ever since we had come to Konoha after the peace treaty. She was always around Tobirama and it made me furious. Tobirama, that man who had killed Izuna....I hated seeing Mio with him all the time. But last night when she herself had submitted to me, I could not hold back any longer.
Kissing me, wrapping her slender arms around my shoulders, seeing her exposed completely below me, her ragged breaths as she called out my name in the dead of the night.....I could not stop. I had marked her, every inch of her body as mine. She had said she loved me, she had said she wouldn't take her words back....her flushed face, her voice, her eyes that were dazed because of how I ravished her....it literally drove me over the edge.
The only thing I had been slightly unhappy about before I lost myself to the night was that Mio had set the condition that I patch up my friendship with Hashirama.
What she had said wasn't completely wrong though. I didn't really hate Hashirama the way I always spoke about on the outside. I didn't like it that the Senju clan always seemed to have the upper hand in our battles. They always managed to be half a step ahead of us and in the end, Hashirama was able to bring me to my knees. I don't know what gave him so much strength, to be able to beat my clan. A clan the possessed the sharingan, a kekkei genkai unmatched by any other clan.
I was jealous too because he still had his younger brother to watch over. His younger brother had killed Izuna. It was their fault I ended up like this. If Izuna hadn't died....
I sighed. I was thinking about the past again. But I wasn't ready to let it go completely. Now I was sure Mio was going to stand by my side. All that was left was to send her to the future where I would be revived even stronger than I am now and take over the world. This wedding was just going to be a happy occasion before the Senju would begin to suffer for what they had done.
I twitched, frowning when I sensed Mio with Tobirama. I gritted my teeth. What is it that she had said yesterday, and what was she doing now?! I told her that she is not to hang around with that b******! I activated my sharingan, anger bubbling in my blood. People who were around me as I followed their chakras flinched and cowered back in fear.
I made it to a training field a few moments later to find Mio and Tobirama sitting on the grass facing each other. I clenched my fists tightly, feeling my nails pierce into the skin and draw blood. That wench! I knew I shouldn't have trusted her!
"So....you and Madara huh?" Tobirama started. Mio smiled and looked at her hands. "Yeah....I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I've liked him even before Konoha was formed....it kind of started in the Uchiha compound." "Oh....then why didn't you tell us before?" Mio sighed this time, looking at Tobirama with a smile. "Its complicated to talk about. But I'm really sorry that you had to find out this way. You're a really good friend, but nothing more. I love Madara...."

I narrowed my eyes slightly. She wasn't the one chasing after Tobirama....he was chasing after her, huh? I smirked, amused and satisfied with her answer. I chuckled to myself. Who was I thinking about? Someone as hard headed and rebellious as Mio wouldn't just let me take her and then run behind another man. She was not that kind of person.
I shook my head and turned around to head back to the Uchiha compound. Honestly, I don't know what she saw so important about having to tell my old man, but seeing his reaction when I told him I had already made her my woman would be entertaining.
Lets let the world see that she belongs to me.
Mi Ho pov:
"Lets see now....that and that and hmm, yup got that too." I stood in the middle of my house checking all the stuff that I was going to be shifting to the Uchiha compound. Now that I was going to be officially married to Madara, I had to take all my stuff with me to live with him in the Uchiha compound. It was a lot of work even though I didn't have too much luggage.
I heard a knock on the door and Madara stepped in with two other people from his clan. I smiled and thanked them as they helped carry two bags out. I had one bag over my shoulder that had my phone, hologram generators and stuff like that. As we walked through the village, Madara had his arms crossed and his usual stoic look. I sighed helplessly but linked by arm through his in an attempt to lighten the tense air around him.
"Don't be so stiff." I said with a smile when he looked at me. He watched me silently for a moment before looking ahead again with no change of expression. I shook my head with another smile.
We made it to the Uchiha compound a few minutes later and I was led to the meeting room where Tajima san, his wife and two other elders from the clan were gathered. The other two people who were carrying my bags had gone to leave it in Madara's room.
When we entered the meeting room, I let go of Madara and bowed. "I see you have decided to be with my son." Tajama san sounded a little skeptical but I just smiled and nodded. "Yup, that's right." "I expect you to be disciplined as the new lady of the Uchiha clan. Its very important that we...." I cut him off before he could go on about the clan's honor and what not's.
"Not to be rude or anything, but lets not stick to age old traditions okay? As times change, we have to accept change too. And so lets just have some fun because everything is finally peaceful here." I gave a peace sign and grinned. "Oh, and I was planning on talking to my sisters and telling them I'm done giving performances....I'd like them to meet Madara too. I didn't think you'd like it if I did it personally so I thought I'll do it here. Its fine right?"
I didn't wait for their permission and I got out my hologram generator strapping it on my wrist. I gave my sisters a call and in a few moments, they all popped up in the room. The two elders who were seeing this for the first time gasped, activating their sharingans at my sisters. I giggled before turning to face them.
"Eonni ya!" "Mi Ho? Musun irisso? [whats going on?]" I rolled my eyes at their direct to the point question. "Jeez, I call you guys after several days and this is what you ask first? Not cool, eonni. Not cool." I clicked my tongue making them roll their eyes. "Anyway....I had something to tell you guys. I....want to retire from dancing."

The minute I said that, I heard Lee Jae oppa cough, hack and splutter in the background. "M-mwo?!!! [WHAT??!!!]" He screamed and one of my eonnis' squealed as her hologram disappeared. Oppa's hologram appeared instead and he look like lightning had struck him. I couldn't help but burst out into laughter seeing his face. "Mi Ho ya!! This isn't funny!!! What are you thinking?! Wanting to quit the team just like that?!" He hollered and I wiped my tearing eyes.
When I had called down, I smiled. "Jeo neun....saranghaneun saram chajossoyo....keuronika, yeogi geu saram hante saragoshippoyo....[I....have found the person I love. So, I want to live here with him]" I finally said as I glanced at Madara. He obviously had no clue whatsoever about what I was speaking but he just sat with his arms crossed over his chest. Over that muscular, chiseled out. Smooth skinned chest. I averted my eyes from him immediately feeling flustered by my thoughts. Jeez, I'm so embarrassing!
"MWO??!!!" His eyes were ready to bug out of their sockets now. I rolled my eyes and walked to Madara. I took a grip on his arm and pulled him up. "What are you doing, woman?" He asked but I ignored his question. "Woman?! Who's the jerk calling you so informally?!" This time oppa spoke in Japanese and Madara narrowed his eyes at his hologram. I took off the band on my wrist and put it on Madara's....I have to say, I looked good on him.
He always had such broad hands and his wrists were well defined too. So wearing something like a bracelet would really suit him.
"This is the guy? Hey, he looks really handsome! Like a hunk!!" One of my eonnis' commented with a grin. "This is the guy. His name is Uchiha Madara." I introduced and Madara looked at me with a brow raised. "What are they talking about?" I smiled holding up his wrist. "Now that you're wearing this, they can see what you look like." He just scoffed and crossed his arms, completely ignoring oppa who was now hysterical about me falling for a Japanese guy and not a Korean guy.
We spent about ten minutes talking, and let me tell you, I was the most difficult time of my life. Oppa, being the useless person he is, kept being sarcastic about Madara and I had to calm down not just him, but his parent and all the elders in the room. Uchihas and insults....never put them in the same room. Or else you're in for big trouble!
After some small discussions and one last dance just for nostalgia sake, we finally got down to discussing things about our so called wedding. Madara seemed least interested in the details though and he kept spacing out. He even tried to leave the room but I had to scold him and pull him down by the arm to sit again. Finally when nothing seemed to work to make Madara stay put during the discussion, I was forced to sit between his legs as he leaned against the wall with his arms around my waist. It was quite awkward to be in that position the whole time but it was the only way to make Madara sit silently.
Finally, after almost two hours, the discussions were done. If you ask me, whatever they discussed could have been finalized in less than half an hour. But what Tajima san said, the elders wouldn't agree and what the elders said, Tajima san wouldn't agree. Jeez, old people are so picky!
The date, time and venue were decided and we all scattered to get things ready.
>>Timeskip
Two hectic days of nothing but preparation. Everything was so rushed with getting the XXL size kimono for me and the XXL size haori and hakama for Madara.
In between all this mayhem, I had managed to talk to my parents and tell them about my decision as well. I had introduced Madara, forcing him to be nice and greet my parents nicely since they weren't from the ninja world. They had accepted my decision wholeheartedly, happy that I had found someone I really loved and wanted to be with.
The wedding too was noisy and crowded, having been attended by the entire village. After all, since Madara was also one of the founders of the village, it was very important that every person of the village attended. It was actually good that this was made as a public event. Lots of the people who were afraid of Madara and the Uchiha clan changed their outlook towards them. They began to open up and talk to all the members of the clan....I was happy to see that they weren't being shunned away like usual.
Madara though, was a totally different case. He refused to socialize and he was irritated the whole time we were among the crowd. I was doing all the talking while apologizing to everyone when Madara refused to interact with anyone. How on earth did I end up falling for a guy like this? I still don't know.
Finally, after the festivities were done, we had returned to the Uchiha compound. I was so glad to get out of the heavy oversized wedding kimono and into a simple light one piece dress. Madara had gone off to talk with Tajima san for a moment and I was standing in the room looking at the garden though the window.
I smiled though, when I sensed Madara enter the room, walk to me and wrap his arms around my waist. As I expected, he placed his lips at the nape of my neck, making goosebumps erupt with his warm breath. I lifted my hand to tangle my fingers in his hair. I bent my head to the side, closing my eyes and giving him more access to my neck. I sighed at the tingling sensation it sent through me.
"Mio....its almost time...." He said and I opened my eyes. I frowned and moved away from him only to face him. "Time for what?" "Time for me to leave the village to gain more power." My eyes went slightly wide and my heart jolted. Don't tell me that even though I had stalled him for this much time, he was still going to end up as the person I saw him as in the future.
I swallowed thickly, hesitating before speaking. "What do you mean by that?" He narrowed his eyes and activated his sharingan....making me clench my jaw tightly. "I will send you to the future....in the mean time, I will gain power to bring true peace to the world. A world with no war or fighting."
I sighed closing my eyes. "Madara, I didn't get married to you so you can send me to the future and run after some crazy dream." "Its not a dream! Its something I will make into reality." He hissed, annoyed by what I was saying. We stayed silent, staring at each other for several minutes. Unlike last time, he didn't punch me in the gut without warning.
I smiled after a moment, almost laughing actually. "Dream, no dream; fighting, no fighting.....you're too concerned about what was and what will be rather than what is. The world is open to us now, Madara. There are so many possibilities, chances laid out in front of us. What is the point of aiming for something that you're not even sure of?" "I am sure of what I want and what I will get."
"Madara, let me tell you something that I heard from somewhere back in my world. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That's why they call it the present." I walked to him and wrapped my arms around his chest hugging him. "Peace isn't about having a perfect life. No one is perfect and no one can ever be in full peace. Peace is being glad for being alive, for having people to care for you....for making others happy." I pulled away from him to gaze at his eyes sadly.
"I don't want to lose you, please. I know you don't hate being here....please just try." "Mio...." His voice was low but I shook my head. "No Madara. This time, I'm not just going to sit back and watch. I want you. I want you to be here with me....with Hashirama. In reality. No one can ever attain peace....you know that too so please don't take leave Konoha....don't leave me." I watched him dead in the eye and he hesitated. He was trying to silence me but I wasn't going to back down this time. He had to learn that his plan wasn't going to work.....no, I wouldn't allow it to work.
"Mio, you...." He couldn't complete his sentence. I leaned forward, pressing my lips against his. He stiffened but soon couldn't stop from kissing back. He put one had on my back and brought the other to grip my hair tightly in his fist. I winced as it hurt. Madara groaned into my mouth as I parted my lips to let him deepen the kiss. I felt his tongue rub against mine and I felt lightheaded.
I pulled away when I felt the air supply of my lungs getting low. I didn't meet his gaze and I took the initiative to kiss his neck. He sucked in a sharp breath as I bit down on his skin gently. I obviously wasn't as rough as he was but he was quite affected by my gesture. I was yet again lifted off the ground with his hands on my thighs, making me wrap my legs around his torso. I winced as my back was roughly pushed up against the wall and Madara gripped my hair making my lips meet his again.
He groaned running his free hand on my bare waist. I had cupped his cheeks and no matter how strong I tried to be, I couldn't stop from my stinging eyes losing the battle of holding my tears in. They fell unceremoniously down my cheeks, meeting Madara's halfway. When he felt it, he pulled away from me with a frown. I was panting and I let my head fall to his shoulder.
"Madara.....Madara.....Madara.....I love you...." My voice was airy. I bit my lip to hold in my voice when he moved the dress off my shoulder and sucked on the skin there. His breath was hot, his body was hot. It drove me crazy.
"Then...." He whispered against the moist skin where he had most probably left a mark. It made me feel cold and I shuddered. "You wont ever leave?" I opened my eyes to glace at his head dazed. I brought my arms up wrapping them around his neck with one hand tangled in his hair.
I loved it when he showed his insecure side to me. I loved knowing that I was the only one he opened up to.
I turned my head to kiss his ear softly. "Never." He shivered slightly when my breath hit his ear. He forced my head to the side, gaining more access to my skin and literally making me go crazy with his warm tongue. "No one but me." I almost laughed at his statement. He was so worried that I would run away from him? Was it because of how his clan and all the villagers had pushed him away because of their fear? He really was such an adorable scared child behind his tough facade......and I loved that about him.
"I wont leave you, Madara. You were there when I said my goodbyes to my family and friends because I want to be with you." I caressed his head gently. "I'm yours, remember? Three days ago, when I let you make me yours.....that was a promise that I won't ever leave. Why are you still so uneasy?" He pulled away to gaze at me. I gazed straight into his eyes as I constantly ran my fingers through his hair, rubbing my thumbs on his cheeks, his lips and his eyebrows.
I squirmed, making him let me go from the squished up position against the wall. I took a hold of his hand and pulled him to the bed. I got in first and held out my arms to him, welcoming him into an embrace. He wavered but slowly got on the bed and let me hold him. I turned to my side slightly, pulling him to my chest. I put one arm below his head and brought him closer so that his face was tucked away in between my shoulder and chest. I held him around the shoulder with my other arm and smiled when I felt his arms around my middle, snuggling his face more into me.
I felt his lips right above my chest. He placed a ghostly kiss there and along with his warm breath that brushed over my skin, I shivered. He let out a soft chuckle, making me shiver again. I gave him a playful nudge and he settle down with a soft sigh.
I began to hum a slow tune while patting his head. I don't even think ten minutes had passed and Madara had fallen asleep. I smiled kissing the top of his head and resting my cheek against his head. "I love you, my adorable idiot." I mumbled in the silence. I pulled his head a little closer to me as I too cuddled to him.
I closed my eyes and within moments, I was enveloped by blissful slumber.
