Mi Ho pov:
"Madara....what are you really doing here?" This was the most dreaded question I had asked him. It was the worst situation and the worst question that I already knew part of the answer for.
Its not that I asked this question because I had to say something. I had yelled at him, insulted him though he wouldn't have understood what I had said in Korean, but he obviously knew I was calling him names of some sort. I had never been afraid of Madara, no matter how strong he was. Even in the past there was a significant difference in our strengths but that never stopped me from blowing up in his face. Whether my importance was because of my special ability or because he truly had feelings for me, I knew he wouldn't hurt me. So I never held back in what I wanted to say to him.
And there was no difference this time either.
Madara narrowed his eyes at my question. He looked so different now. His hair instead of that gorgeous black was white. He had the rinnegan which wasn't any different from when I had seen him after he was resurrected, he had a strange white headband that looked like it was made from bone and had two horns jutting out. His outfit was strange too; white robes and black pants with strange prints on the back of his robes. He had these black spheres floating around him and he also had a staff in hand that looked like what a sage would hold.
"What sort of stupid question is that Mio? Don't tell me that your thinking isn't as fast as it used to be." He mocked with a slightly amused smirk. I shook my head looking to the side. "That's not what I mean, Madara. What do you plan on doing? Yes, I heard of the infinite tsukiyomi plan and I have a very vague idea on what it means because of some books I read. You say its to being out peace in this world.....but at what cost?"
I had noticed that all the people who were comparatively close to where we stood were watching us warily. All of their chakras showed obvious fear, nervousness.....and zero hope. Had Madara really broken their will to fight to such an extent? Just being around people who seemed so terrified made me shiver in discomfort. Imagining what all Madara had done during the war, how many people he must have killed.....with his power, he must have been merciless.
Madara only frowned again. "Look around you Madara. Look at how many people are scared of you. Look at how many people are on the brink of death because of what you've done. You can feel their chakras cant you? Is this what you call peace? Instilling fear, pain, death on people.....is this your idea of peace? You've changed a lot from the time I knew you."
"That's right! People change Mi Ho! The whole world changes, and people change! And to make this foolish world attain true peace, this is necessary!" He yelled annoyed. I smiled slightly, laughing at the irony. "People change? Is that what you think?" I lost my smile to a look of anger. "People change only when they lose their way. When they stray away from the path they know is right. Just like you."
"Mio!!" He snarled and everyone's chakra spiked as his chakra raged around him. I shut my eyes as debris was flown all around from where Madara stood. When the dust settled, I opened my eyes again to look at his rage filled eyes.

"The way I see it, you've lost your way by following your selfish desires to rule this world and become the strongest person to have existed. That is a fact and no matter how much you deny it, I know how different you are from before. What do you truly achieve with your power? Nothing but loneliness; no friends, no comrade, nothing." He watched me silently for a while. The whole battlefield was dead silent, nervousness swirling within everyone.
Finally, Madara closed his eyes and scoffed. "It doesn't matter what you think. I had you brought here to ensure my victory in this war. I am more than capable of blocking any pathetic attack that these people try to hit me with but I wont take any chances. You will predict the danger for me and I will silence every last person who decides to defy me. Come."
He turned around and began to walk away assuming that I would follow. This time, it was my turn to scoff. Putting a hand on my hip, I gave a defiant pose. "Forget it!" Madara stopped walking and turned to look at me, his eyes glowing menacingly. I would be lying if I said I wasn't intimidated by him because of how furious he looked now. But I refused to show any weakness in front of him. I wasn't going to let him order me around.
"Mio." His voice came out as a hiss. "I don't love you, Madara and I won't help people I don't love." The minute those words left my lips, I was rewarded with a hard slap across my cheek. I hadn't even seen Madara move to get right in front of me. He was so fast. My eyes stung and blood trickled down my chin because of the force of the slap. With how strong Madara was, I was surprised that my jaw didn't break. I guess he was holding back.
I licked the side of my lip where I could taste the blood and I lifted my hand to touch my now tender cheek. "I seem to get a lot of bruises when I'm around you." I said rather jokingly. "You should watch what you say if you don't want me to really kill you." Madara hissed out again.
I laughed, running a hand through my hair once before watching Madara with a sad smile. "You've really turned into someone I don't know....the Madara I loved wasn't as tainted as you are in heart. The Madara I loved was crude on the outside but gentle at heart....you used to do everything in your power to attain peace. You wanted to protect Izuna. You founded Konoha along with Hashirama so you could protect your people. And what are you doing now?"
"Don't you dare say that fool's name in front of me!" "That's enough of your attitude, Madara! You and Hashirama were friends when you were kids! You probably knew that each of you was from the enemy clan, didn't you? All those days when you went out to spar, to talk about building Konoha even though it sounded like a crazy idea! You went against your own fathers till the very last moment before you ended up separating completely.....and yet you still had the wish to make the world a place where children wouldn't have to die fighting, didn't you?! Now you're the one killing children! There's not even an ounce of the word peace in what you're doing now!"
"Who are you to talk about my past, Mio?! You don't know anything!" He yelled gripping my arm in a crushing and painful grip. I let out a wince but glared back defiantly. I was sure his hold was going to leave a bruise. It hurt like crazy and I hated how I always ended up fighting with Madara. Couldn't there be just one time where we wouldn't have a difference in opinion? Why couldn't we just get along, darn it?!

"I know more than what you think I know!" I roughly pulled my arm away from him as I yelled. Sighing at the tension that had built up between my eyebrows, I pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Mi Ho? Mi Ho ya!" I looked to the side to see Lee Jae oppa running to me. "Oppa?" My eyes went wide, surprised to see him wearing a joining coat and a ninja pouch strapped to his right leg. He ran to me and collided with me in a tight hug. Yet again, the wind was knocked out of me. "O-opp-pa....c-cant bre-reathe...."
He pulled away and I coughed regaining my breath. "Ah, mihyane....olmana kokchonghesso doh aro? Yeogi wae wasso?! [ah, sorry....do you know how worried I was? Why did you come here?!" He scolded and I rolled my eyes looking back at Madara. "Why don't you ask Mr. Fancy Pants over there? I was quite happy being with Ryoshi in the village." I muttered still glaring at Madara. Seriously, this guy had major issues! He keeps dragging people wherever he wants and doing whatever he wants to, whenever he wants to!
"Mi Ho ya...." I looked back at oppa and furrowed my brows. "Chagam....doh yeogi waeniriya? [wait....why are you here?]" Oppa rubbed the back of his head. "Ah that? Apparently Iwa sent out everyone to fight....your eonni and Jae Hee are still in the village though." I shook my head completely baffled at the way this world worked.
"You should be glad. I remembered your precious brother and made sure not to hurt him. As a thank you, helping me is the least you can do." Madara broke my reunion and I gave him a 'are-you-seriously-saying-that-to-me?' look. "You know what? Don't act all huffy just because you didn't hurt my brother. I still wont help you." He narrowed his eyes but turned away and shrugged.
"Fine, have it your way." I furrowed my brows further. Why did that sound really bad? Arguing and getting Madara to agree with me was never an easy task and this was way too easy for my liking.
But the next moment, one of those black spheres elongated and wrapped around my waist. Madara jumped up to the sky and I was violently pulled after him. I screamed reaching out to oppa who helplessly watched as I was taken away as well. We finally stopped more than a hundred feet from the ground. I was freaking out because there was nothing for me to hold onto.
"Madara!! What the hell are you doing?! Put me down!! I'm going to fall!!" I hollered desperately. Madara just chuckled and smirked at me. "Will you look at that? The great Jung Mi Ho is afraid of heights!" I glared at him. "Anyone would be afraid of being in this situation if they cant fly! Stop taking this like a joke and let me down now!"
He laughed again and floated closer to me. "Well, since you are my woman, I suppose I can make an exception." He snaked his arm around my waist and without wasting a single second, I wrapped my arms around his neck tightly holding on for dear life. Madara chuckled, turning his head to nibble my ear. And yes, just as he had guessed last time, I am ticklish there. I let out an unwanted squeak as I turned my head away from him immediately.
"Alright alright!! Just don't let me fall!" I yelled as I tightened my hold around his neck. He chuckled again, kissing my exposed shoulder once before getting back into battle mode.
"Absorb....absorb it all! Absorb!" there was a crunching sound I shot my eyes open hearing a strange voice. Despite my situation, I tried to look around to find the source. I couldn't though and I looked sideways at Madara when he tightened his arm around my waist. "Is that so? The secret to real power....." I squeaked when the noise continued roaring through the air and Madara shot out towards its source.
My eyes went wide when I turned around to see the tree or plant or whatever it was falling right on top of us. "Madara! Get out of the way!! That tree is going to crush us!!" I yelled, my heart pounding a mile a minute. But he didn't move and only held our his hands at his sides, wide open, leaving me just clinging to him on my own.
"Gwahh! I told you not to let go!!" As I said that, the black sphere that was around me coiled around Madara's waist giving some sort of support to me. As I watched horrified by the thoughts of getting squished by this huge plant, something crazy happened instead. Madara himself began to....absorb the tree into himself. In by inch, every last bit of the tree was being absorbed into Madara. I could feel his and the tree's power combining only to get stronger and stronger.
After a few moments, the whole tree had disappeared and Madara was standing with his eyes closed. I pulled my arms away from his neck, instead resting them on his shoulders to watch him warily. "Um....Madara?" He shot his eyes open to watch me with a piercing gaze when I called his name. I couldn't help but flinch, feeling the dark power that was now swirling within and around him.
He grinned maniacally and then broke out into a laugh. "What power! What amazing power! So this is what is really needed to use the infinite tsukiyomi!! Amazing!" I was really starting to freak out by the way Madara was acting now. He had really lost it, hadn't he?
He brought his arm around my waist once again and flew up even higher in the sky. "The true power, reflected in the moon to cast the eternal genjutsu. It is time for the world to finally see true peace!" I turned my head slightly and realized that Madara was in fact staring at the moon. But the moon was a sinister blood red. I didn't like this feeling. I didn't like this feeling at all.
Madara lifted his free hand and took a hold of the band in his head. I heard a sickening crunch as he broke it off to expose his forehead. It made me flinch and squeak, clutching his shoulders even tighter when he staggered in mid air. He closed his eyes and brought his right hand up in a handsign.
"When one possessing the power of the Rinne draws near to the moon, the eye that can reflect off the moon and grant the Infinite Dream shall open." He mumbled. My stomach churned as I saw a slit on his forehead open to reveal a red eye. It looked like the sharingan and rinnegan combined.....it was so sickening to look at the eye that I gagged slightly. "Shine upon the world, Infinite Tsukiyomi." Madara hissed out and I looked at the moon to see it get the same pattern that was in Madara's third eye.
Some battles that were still taking place below came to a halt, debris and boulders and what not's falling with loud rumbling. A strange purple thing that was flying around destroying huge meteorites that fell from the sky too swooped down and created a sheild on the ground. I was almost sure that I could sense Naruto, Kakashi and even Sakura there but the minute the purple thing covered then up, I could no longer sense their chakras.
"Now, become one!" Madara was still grinning madly. A few moments later, the moon began to glow and I shielded my eyes from the blinding light. When I opened my eyes again, instead of it being night now it had become day. All the people who were standing on the ground stopped moving and they looked like they were in a daze. They were too far from me for me to actually figure out what was going on with them so I looked around to spot someone who was closer. When I did, I saw that his eyes had turned into the rinnegan, just like Madara's.
"This light can penetrate and see through even shadows. No one can hide from it." I looked around frantically for oppa, suddenly concerned about his situation as well. I couldn't pinpoint where he was though because I was too high up in the air.
Madara let go of me again and I floated a few feet away from him. He literally had to peel me off him because I was like a cat, not wanting to let go of him. "Madara!!" I yelled in a scolding tone but he just ignored me. He clapped his hands together in a hand sign again. "Divine: Deep Forest Emergence." The ground shook again as huge branches came out from it. Thankfully, one of them came all the way to where we were and Madara's black sphere slowly placed me on it. I was finally glad that I had something to stand on but being a small platform more than 100 feet above solid ground still wasn't as comfortable.
As the branches came out, some sort of cloth like things began to come out of it. It began to wrap itself around every single person on the battlefield pulling them up so they looked like cocoons hanging from it. "Let the world of dreams now begin, a world without abysmal chakra!"
A few moments later, there was nothing but hundreds of cocoons and not a single person. The only ones who seemed still intact were the reanimated ones. Unfortunately, I could see two people I felt extremely guilty towards. "Hashirama, Tobirama...." They had spotted me as well, watching me with betrayal in their eyes. For the first time in coming to this world, my chest felt tight, my eyes stung and tears rolled down my cheeks.
What....what was Madara doing?!
"Madara stop this! What is happening?! What are you doing?!" I yelled at him desperately to hear me out. "Mi Ho ya!" I looked down, glad that oppa wasn't hurt. Madara was concentrating on his justu, he hadn't bothered to hear what I had said. "Argh jincha! [seriously]" Muttering to myself, I decided to climb don't this huge branch.
I started climbing down and I glanced down. Big mistake; my head spun at how high I really was. I couldn't climb down further, all I could do was grasp the branch tightly.
"Madara!!" I called again which made him finally look at me. He had a look of distaste. "Mio....you have something to say?" I was taken aback by his indifference. I was about to fall here and he was just standing there and questioning me. He had to help me, that moron!!
"Help!" "Help? You want me to help you when all you'll do us nag me about my ambition? You said that if it was in the past, you could have beat me. If you're so strong, why don't you help yourself?" My jaw went slack. "W-what? Madara....don't tell me you....have you really gone so far away?" I asked, my heart hurting for more than one reason now. "Far away? I suppose you could say that....I am at a level no one can reach." He looked around the battlefield again....the lifeless battlefield.
Understanding that he wasn't going to help me, I tried to climb back up myself. Thankfully I hadn't climbed down too far so I was able to get to the platform on the branch after huffing and puffing. I was sweating, out of breath by the time I had balanced myself and I too looked at the battlefield.
There was nothing. Barren land, huge stems, cocoons, no life.
I collapsed to my knees. Why wasn't I affected? Why hadn't I become a cocoon like everyone else? The ones who were revived, oppa and I were the onely ones standing. The purple thing at the distance too probably had a few people being protected. But that's it.....wait, was it because we were from a different world? We weren't affected by what had happened here....or Madara himself had prevented it from harming us.
I looked back at him, coolly standing there, his hair swaying in the wind as he watched everything. He looked back at me. My heart pounded in sudden fear under his gaze and I stiffened as he began to come closer to me. When he reached the place I was landing on his feet, I flinched and scooted back a little. It was a reflex and he narrowed his eyes.
"Are you finally afraid of me, Mio? Do you finally see the difference in our strengths?" He asked and my eyes stung again as tears fell. "Madara...." My voice was soft, pained, broken; I sounded pathetic. "How.....how could you? Is...is this....is all this your definition of peace? What kind of world is this? No people....no life.....is this the world you want to rule?" I asked him, the pain in my chest increasing. "This is eternal peace. Where everyone will live in a world of dreams, no fighting, no killing. Isn't that what you wanted too?"
He took steps closer to me. Taking a painfully tight grip on my arm he pulled me up to stand. He looked scary now. I never knew he could go to this extent. He was frightening and the tears from my eyes wouldn't stop at my weakness of loving him despite what he had done. Looking around while breathing heavily, I managed a small laugh at the insanity of the situation. I looked back at him, my smile dropping.
