Mi Ho pov:

"I got you lunch!" I grinned as my door was opened and oppa stepped into the room. I was getting bored out of my brains just staring out of the window and watching the people walking around below. I was so high up, that all the people almost looked like little specks in the distance. Besides, I had nothing to do here. They didn't even let me read books!

The two ninjas who were watching me left and I jumped off the bed to walk to oppa. "Oppa! You took so long! I got so bored!" I complained and he chuckled. "Yes yes, I know. You're the kind of person who cant sit doing nothing even for few minutes. I really pity seeing you here like this." I gave him and angry pout, getting another chuckle in return.

"Okay, eat up! I got your favorite today! I had Yin Sae cook it for you!" My pout disappeared, replaced with a big grin as the heavenly smell of kimchi and ja jang myun noodles reached my nose. "Wah! Masshitta! [looks tasty!]" I rubbed my hands together as he opened the boxes and placed them on the small table in the room. I sat down on the chair and darted my eyes at all the delicious dishes on the table. I didn't bother waiting for him to sit down and I reached for the chopsticks and began eating.

As the first bit literally melted in my mouth, I couldn't help but float away into La La Land. Oh how I had missed the taste of Korean food! And having Yin Sae eonni cook it, it was just perfect!

When I was done eating, well actually, I had licked off every speck of kimchi left and I sat with a hand on my full satisfied stomach. "Ah....jal mogosso [I ate well]." I mumbled earning a chuckle from oppa. "Well, I can certainly see you've eaten well." He teased and I laughed.

"Haaahh....oppa, do you know how boring it is here? They don't let me go anything besides stare put the window. I'm going to go crazy if I have to do this for any longer! Man, I wish they could at least get my music stiff from Konoha.....at least then I wouldn't be so bored." I whined out as oppa packed up the dishes. But as I said that, he stopped and looked up at me with a strange look on his face. "Mwo ya? [What?]" I asked him and he frowned.

"Mi Ho ya....yeogi...i sesang eso onje wasso? [Mi Ho....here....this world, when did you come here?] No....when was the last time you contacted us?" He asked. I put a finger to my chin as I thought through all the events that had happened. "Well, judging from everything that has happened, I would say that the last dance we did, Hello by SHINee was about a week ago; before I was unceremoniously thrown into Konoha 100 years in the future." I made a face of slight distaste as I said that. Oppa didn't seem too happy about my answer though, which only made my discomfort increase.

"Mi Ho ya....since how long have you been in this world?" "Oppa, why all the questions suddenly?" I asked back, hoping for some explanation at the change in seriousness. He just shook his head, coaxing me to answer the question and I sighed. "I came to this world, I don't know how, but I came here when I left for home about six months ago. I have been able to get in contact with all of you because of the hologram equipment and I was able to come for all the recordings." Oppa seemed deep in thought for a few minutes before he sighed and shook his head. He sat down on the bed and rubbed his face as if he were stressed about something.

"Mi Ho....it doesn't add up." "What doesn't add up? Oppa, you're not making any sense! C'mon, tell me so I can understand!" I asked getting slightly worried about his reaction now. "Mi Ho, you've been missing for more than a year now! After the recording for Hello, we couldn't contact you, we couldn't find you...its like you disappeared! We had the police look for you for almost two months but they closed the case because they couldn't find you still."

I narrowed my eyes. "What? Oppa, that's just crazy! I spoke to you guys just a week ago!! Unless you consider the magical leap of 100 years I got here...." I grumbled. "That's it....I think the time slip you had here caused a time rift in our world too. I've been here since half a year too and not once did i imagine I would run into you. You don't know how relieved I was when I saw you alive and well." He smiled at me. Well, what he said did make sense. After all, a time leap of 100 years was crazy....its not actually surprising if there was some sort of time distortion in my world too.

But wait....did that mean that I wouldn't be able to dance and sing anymore? The hologram bracelets didn't work anymore and I didn't have phone signal in this world to begin with. And obviously without any charging source, I was surprised that they held out so long. Even if I did get them back now, their batteries were probably dead so they'd be useless. So now that mu situation was pretty ambiguous....what was going to happen now? Would oppa and I have to be here forever? Or when we returned, we'd probably end up in more of a time slip where people wouldn't even remember us.....

I scratched the back of my neck, suddenly burdened by the situation. I sighed, shaking my head from side to side to ease the stiffness. "Keurom.....jigum mwo hae? [then....what now?]" I asked him and he sighed as well. "Molla....jincha mollayo. Sashireun....yeogi choa. [I don't know....I really don't know. Actually, I like it here] I like my job, the people, the simplicity if the life here. Its comfortable and more easier than the job back in our world. For now, I don't want to leave from here." He said and I chuckled. "I can see that....but is there any way you can get me out of this place? There has to be another town I can go to without anyone knowing about my powers...."

I was seriously getting bored out of my brains here. I hate being locked up! I was a human being too! I had feelings, emotions and I wanted to do some kind of job too. I can't live locked up in a tower forever.....I'm not Rapunzel. I had to start looking out for myself too.

"Hmmm....well, there aren't many people who actually know about you. Well, they know about you but there's no information on how you looked. So people shouldn't be able to recognize you....the adjoining village is a non ninja village and probably the best place for you to escape to." An adjoining village? Well, I suppose that could work. "But how do I escape from here? I'm being guarded 24/7." I deadpanned and oppa chuckled as he stood up.

He picked up the lunch box in his hands and walked to the door. "I'll take care of that, don't worry. I'll create a situation so that you can escape....and knowing your skills of deduction, you'll be able to use the chance when you see it." He smiled and walked out of the door leaving me blinking with a hundred thoughts swirling in my head. I would know when I got the chance? Well, yeah. I am CIA material. I'd obviously figure out something if I saw something out if the ordinary. Guess I just have to wait till then.

"Man, I can believe the whole village is enjoying the festival while we're stuck here guarding this annoying chic!" My eyebrow twitched at the comment that fell on my ears but I did my best not to react to it. "I know! This chic can't even do anything to entertain us...." The other guard muttered as I grinded my teeth together.

Honestly! Did these guys think I couldn't hear them?! They were being so loud and clear....maybe they did want me to hear them and get all annoyed. And let me tell you, they were doing a rather good job at that. "Useless brat." Okay that's it! he had hit my end of the line!

"Hey you palm tree head!" I turned around and glared at the guy who had messy brown hair that pretty much stuck out in all directions like leaves of a palm tree. He sent a rather harsh glare which I returned with equal anger. "Yeah you! I suggest you shut that mouth of yours if you don't want me to shut it for you!" I pointed a daring finger at him and he stomped towards me. "What did you say?! You loud mouthed b****!" He held up his hand to slap me but I caught it with ease.

I took the chance to twist his arm behind his back, making him yelp in pain. The other guy got angry as well and ran to me as well. Holding the palm tree head in place, I lifted my leg up backwards and kicked the other guy in his shins. He held his jaw as he collapsed to the floor with blood dripping down his chin. I looked back to palm tree head and hit him on the soft spot behind his neck to make him fall to the ground unconscious.

I looked back at the other guy as he got out a kunai to attack me. I dodged all his stabs easily and finally caught his hand. I hit his wrist across the table, making him drop the kunai with a clatter. I took support of his shoulders and jumped up. I did a summersault in the air, the tips of my toes almost touching the ceiling in the process and I pulled him along with me to throw him forward. It wasn't very effective because he was a ninja, he was both strong and heavy for me to throw like any other normal person. But I still managed to throw him over my shoulder and he landed with a hard thud.

He got up yet again; he was annoyingly persistent. But I jumped high in the air and kicked him across his face and he finally fell sideways unconscious as well. I waved my arms in the air and winced as they hurt. Then I kneeled next to palm tree head and took the keys from his belt. I unlocked the doors of my room and looked on either side.

The halls were deserted and I couldn't hear anyone in the building. I guess this is what oppa meant when he spoke about me getting a chance to escape. I guess he knew about the festival, didn't he? I chuckled to myself and headed down the stairs to the ground. When I made it there, I hid next to the door and peered out to make sure no one was there to see me. I could hear cheers and chatter from the other side of the building; probably where the festival was being celebrated. It worked out well for me and I ran out, hiding behind buildings and darting my eyes around to make sure I wasn't discovered.

I hid my chakra, making it as low and insignificant as possible. I looked up at the sky, looking for the Polaris star. The North Star that would give me which direction I was supposed to take to get to the adjoining village. I had to go west and when I was sure of the direction, I darted out of the village, sneaking past the gate as well since there were no guards.

I think I just kept running for a couple of hours. I was drenched in sweat, panting and out of breath. A few more minutes passed and I could finally see light from a rather small village. I stopped several feet away, hiding behind the trees as I looked at the village. Okay, so now I had reached this village. How do I get in? I mean, I cant just barge in, right? They would ask me details of who I am and what I was doing in their village! I needed some solid reasons for me being here.

"Miss Mio?" I stiffened when someone called my name from behind me and I didn't even hesitate to lift my leg to kick them in the face. But the person was strong and quick and he caught my leg in mid air quite easily. I got a really bad feeling in my gut as I saw a man. He was wearing quite ordinary clothes; well, normal in terms of the ninja world and he had messy black hair with blue tips and green eyes. He was also carrying a katana and I didn't like the feel of this guy's physical strength.

But he didn't look angry or suspicious of me suddenly popping up here. And how did he know my name?!

"Are you miss Mio?" he asked again, his voice gentle. I narrowed my eyes slightly. "And if I am?" I asked warily. He let go of my leg and I put a few feet distance between us. I stayes stiff in case he decided to attack me. Lee Jae nii sama asked me to help you into my village after you escaped Iwa tonight." Nii sama? He was calling my oppa as nii sama?

I frowned but relaxed slightly. "Who...who are you and how do know him?" I asked. The man smiled slightly and walked past me. "My name is Ryoshi and I met your brother a few months ago. Follow me, you will be living with me in this village from now on." He walked away from me and into the village. I lifted my hand to stop him and ask him for more details, but my guts were telling me to trust this guy. I never get this kind of feeling for people easily but when I did, I was always the best option. So I went ahead and followed him into the village.

"How exactly did you meet my brother?" I broke the silence between us as I fell in pace next to him. He glanced at me and then looked ahead again as he led the way through the pleasantly chattering village. Several people greeted him on the way and he returned their gestures with very small smiles and a short bow of his head. He didn't look like the kind who showed much emotion or even spoke much to anyone. But I could tell that he was a good guy.

"I heard you're not blood related to him." He finally spoke and I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, I'm not. But we've known each other long enough for me to consider him as a brother." Ryoshi just nodded and came to a stop at a small apartment. Well, I wouldn't call it an apartment, I guess. It was three stories tall and probably had one house on each floor. I followed Ryoshi as he climbed up to the third floor and unlocked the house. He stepped in, holding the door open for me so I could step in as well. When I was inside, he closed the door and went to sit down on the couch.

I raised a brow and followed suit. I sat down in front of him on the couch with a glare as he took off his shoes. "Are you going to answer my question or not? As much as I appreciate you helping me into your village, I'd be more comfortable with a little more information." He met my annoyed gaze, staring at me for a few moments before looking away with some sort of depth in his eyes.

"I owe my life to your brother." I blinked, sensing the sudden seriousness of the conversation. "I met him three months ago in the midst of a battle with some rogue ninjas. I was close to dying and the rogues had managed to loot almost every house in this village. Just before they could kill me and an innocent family that I had been trying to protect, Lee Jae nii sama came in between us and the rogues and stopped them."

"He wasn't a ninja, but the bravery that he showed.....I don't think even I could do that. He offered the rogues gold jewelry that was quite a lot and made them spare our lives and the village. After the rogues left, he treated my wounds and helped me stay alive. I owe him everything of my life and this village." He looked up at me and I was taken aback. Oppa had done that? He had given away eonni's gold jewelry to save the lives of all these people? Wow....I never knew.

"Wow....I didn't know that." He smiled a little again. "This is not a ninja village. There are only ten people including myself who are ninjas. We are probably at jounin level after all of the training we have done so we can just protect ourselves from weaker rogue ninjas. If Lee Jae nii sama hadn't come that day, many innocent people would have died along with myself.....because of my lack of power." I couldn't help but smile, respecting his desire to protect his people.

I placed a hand on his arm and smiled as he looked at me. "You're a good guy Ryoshi. Thanks for helping me....and I hope I can help you protect your people. I shouldn't boast, but I've got some pretty decent fighting skills myself." He nodded with a smile and I blushed when my stomach let out a loud growl in hunger. He chuckled and stood up. "I'll get you something to eat and then you can rest for the night. You must be pretty exhausted after running all the way from Iwa."

"Yeah, that sounds good. Thanks Ryoshi. Oh, and I hope you don't mind if I use the bath and some of your clothes." He shook his head. "No problem. This is your house too now. My room is the one on the right." He pointed to the side and I thanked him as he left to the kitchen. I walked to his room, shamelessly taking a spare towel and some of his clothes and headed to the bathroom.

I would have to manage washing my underclothes and wearing them wet until I bought some for myself, but I was glad to have fresh clothes nonetheless.

Ryoshi really seemed like a nice guy. And seeing the respect he had for oppa, I was sure that I wouldn't have any problems staying here. I could trust him and I could probably find myself a job to not be a burden for him. I guess things wouldn't be as lively and active for me as it was when I sang and danced, but it was better than being locked up in that stupid tower in Iwa. Even if Ryoshi knew about my abilities, he wouldn't tell anyone or use it for himself. I was sure of that.

Oh well, might as well enjoy the freedom I had now, right? New friends, new allies and hopefully a calm and crazy adventure free life from now on.
