《Gentle Turbulence - Uchiha Madara Love Story》Chapter 21 - Futuristic Konoha

Mi Ho pov:
“Jeez that Madara! Literally kicking me into this place!” Who gave him permission to send me here anyway? Did I ask him? No. Did he ask me? NO! more than asking me, I was freaking out because he had said ‘we’ll meet in time’. Well obviously, I knew he meant he would send me to the future, but what I was seeing was ridiculous!
This had to be a dream. This had to be a torturous and realistic dream. I mean, how could I have been thrown into the future like this? True, it wasn't surprising and I would probably understand if Madara did send me to a few years in the future, but this far ahead? What was he thinking? How did he expect me to see him if he sent me to a time that was at least three generations ahead of him?
I made it to the gates. I craned my neck up to look at the top of the compound. I shook my head with a sigh and stepped into the village. The minute I stepped in, two people who were sitting at the security post besides the gate noticed me and stood up. They narrowed their eyes at me and walked to me rather stiffly. "Who are you and what business do you have in Konoha?" I rolled my eyes and put a hand on my hip. "Well, excuse me, but I live here." I said matter of factly. They only frowned more and looked between each other in confusion.
I sighed at the situation and decided that instead of talking to these people, it was best if I spoke directly to the current Hokage. "Look, there's a lot of things that have been happening. I know its not easy to understand, but I think its best if I meet the Hokage. I happen to have come from the past....at least 100 years judging from the development of the village so if I can talk to the right person, I could get some help and figure out why I'm here." They watched me for a few seconds but then nodded. "We'll just have a look through your bag and then we'll take you to Hokage sama." I handed my bag to them and they seemed a little surprised that I didn't show even the slightest refusal. Hey, its not like I had anything dangerous or suspicious in my bag.
Once they had checked every pouch in my bag, they handed it back to me and one of the guys asked me to follow him. As we walked through the village, I could make out that it was very different from what I remembered. The buildings were bigger and the buildings to trees ratio had close to tripled. There were so many more people here, most of which I didn't know which clan they came from. I remember seeing only a few clans that joined up and settled in Konoha. Over the years, so many more had moved in and I couldn't tell the difference between the Senjus and the other clans.
Well, I was sure the Uchiha would be rather easy to spot. They'd have black hair, black eyes, probably their clan symbol on their shirts and not to forget, their signature wrinkly faces.
I couldn't spot any of them as we made it to the Hokage building and I assumed that they were still slightly isolated from the rest of the village. Well, they liked their privacy too so they'd probably be seen only if they needed something from the main part of the village. I could talk to the Hokage and visit their compound later.

We made it to the big circular red building which hadn't seemed to have changed in the past century or so. The guys escorting me led me all the way to the top of the building and we stopped outside a pair of doors. The guy knocked and I heard a woman's voice give us permission to enter. Looks like the hokage is a woman....well, the carving on the cliffs looked like a woman. A really strict woman.
I shrugged and walked in with the guard. When we entered, I saw a lady with a rather large chest sitting at a table with stacks of paper on either side. She had a stern look on her face and somehow reminded me of Tobirama. Actually, she reminded me of both Hashirama and Tobirama with those facial features and the aura around her. I couldn't stop myself and I just blurted pit a question to her. "Are you anyhow related to Tobirama? The look on your face is just like his when he's annoyed about something." She narrowed her eyes at me as I observed her.
I realized that what I asked must have sounded pretty rude so I scratched my cheek awkwardly. "Ah, sorry about that. It just slipped out." "Who are you?" She asked in a stern voice. "The name's Jung Mi Ho. If your history records were kept in tact and studied by people here, you should know of my existence. I used to live with Hashirama and Madara after the peace treaty was made." She was about to speak but I held up my hand telling her not to say anything. "Before you ask, no, I don't know how I got my butt kicked all the way to the future."
I waited after that and she just observed me. "So you're saying, you're the person who could predict danger and hear peoples thoughts." She said. I shrugged. "Yeah, pretty much. But my thought hearing ability was sealed off. I still have the Uchiha seal." I put my bag down and moved my hair to the side. I pulled the kimono slightly off my neck to show the Uchiha seal that was still there. The hokage hummed out a response and I set my kimono properly.
"And is it true that you speak a different language?" I nodded. "I speak Korean and I dance and sing in performances." "I'm afraid we cant trust what you say without proof." She leaned back in her chair causing me to roll my eyes. I reached into my bag and the people in the room stiffened. I reached out to my hologram bracelet and tried to switch it on. It didn't switch on and I frowned. "Ottokedwen goya....[what's going on..]" I mumbled to myself.
I shook my head with a sigh realizing that the charge had gone. I looked up at the Hokage. "I'm just going to need some sunlight to charge this." I said and she nodded. I walked to the window and held the bracelet in the sun. It took a few minutes for the bracelet to charge, and a white light popped up on I when it had enough charge. I switched it on and selected a random song on the memory of the bracelet.
Since it was night time, I didn't want to disturb my sisters and have them talk to me. I turned to the Hokage when the music started playing and she and the person who had escorted me here were watching me cautiously. After a few seconds of the song, the Hokage nodded and I turned it off. I walked back to my bag and put the bracelet inside.

"Hmmm....I see you are not lying." I rolled my eyes at her statement. "Duh, that's what I've been telling you all this time." She leaned back in her seat and watched me for a few minutes before speaking. "You asked me why I resemble Senju Hashirama, correct?" I nodded and sat down in front of her desk as she waved yo the chairs with her hand. "My name is Tsunade. I am the fifth Hokage of Konoha and I am the grand daughter of Hashirama."
"Woah! Grand daughter? That's like two generations forward! How much time has it really been since Konoha was first formed?" I asked surprised at the time lapse I had been through. "It has been 127 years since Konoha was formed." 127? That was insane! Madara had sent me 127 years into the future? For what joy?
I shook my head with a sigh. He was so complicated and I could never really tell what was going through that head of his. He could have at least told me some information before randomly punching me in the gut and making me land so far off in the future. I looked back at Tsunade san and frowned. "Uh, I think you should be a little careful about your right hand. It's not serious, but you'll probably get hurt soon." She narrowed her eyes at my statement and reached for some papers. "I will give you a place to stay for the time being, but you will be kept under 24 hour strict surveillance. Do not think that you can escape or try something funny."
I nodded and she blinked and looked down at her right hand. When she had reached out for the paper, the had cut her finger. "Looks like you are the same person." She muttered as she wiped off the blood on her dress. I smiled awkwardly and she reached into her drawer to get out some keys. "Izumo, take her to Kakashi's apartment and inform Kakashi about what happened here. Make sure no one else gets to know about her true abilities for now." "I understand, Tsunade sama." The one who had escorted me here bowed and turned to me. "Please follow me, Mio san."
I bowed to Tsunade san and walked to the door with Izumo san. But I paused at the door and looked back at her. "By the way, I cant really recognize many of the clans living here since when Konoha was formed, there weren't many who had allied with Konoha yet. But I was wondering, do the Uchihas still stay in the North East part of the village? I'd like to visit them sometime, if that's okay." Tsunade san frowned at my question. "I'm afraid you cannot see them." She leaned her chin on her arms on the table as she watched me. "Why not? Is it some security reason?"
"A lot of things happen as time passes. Its not wise to assume things have remained the same after a century has passed." I furrowed my brows in confusion. "I don't quite get what you're saying...." She took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment. Then she looked at me again and spoke. "The Uchiha clan was massacred more than eight years ago. No one is allowed to enter the Uchiha compound without permission."
My eyes nearly popped out of their sockets when I heard this. The clan was massacred? No Uchiha was left alive?!
"Wait, what do you mean massacred?! Why were they massacred?" I asked turning to face her completely. "One of their own sought after power and killed the whole clan. As of now, there are only two Uchihas alive....both of which are traitors to Konoha and the shinobi as a whole." "I still don't understand....why would someone from their own clan kill the others for power? it doesn’t make sense!"
I just couldn't believe the words I was hearing. The Uchihas were gone? Totally wiped out from existence? And there were just two left! But why did that happen? How could that happen? The Uchiha and Senju were the ones who started the village. It was only fair that they continued to be the support system for the village. But one of their own kind had wiped out the clan for personal gain?
"Its best if you don't dwell on that which has happened and you look at what is in front of you." Tsunade san brought me out of my thoughts. I hadn't even realized that my eyes were stinging and a thin layer of water had blurred out my vision. My chest felt tight and I averted my gaze from hers. "I guess....thank you for letting me stay here." I bowed and walked out of her office without another word.
I followed Izumo san as he led me through the village to the place where I would be staying. I hadn't looked up even once since I left her office and my eyes kept stinging occasionally. Even though I didn't have any connection to the Uchiha clan directly, I had still lived with them and they were like family to me in the past. I had fallen in love with Madara and I knew that our feelings were mutual. And I respected him, his clan and his feelings for his clan.
I knew how much he cared for his clan. Even though he never showed it on the outside, he always wanted his clan to be recognized and respected at a high level. He always spoke rashly and used violence to punish those he thought had made a mistake. And even though it wasn't the best way to inspire and motivate the clan to fight and win, he strived for perfection. And knowing that all the efforts that he had put in to bring his clan to such a height and for it to have ended in a massacre....it pained me to see all his efforts to waste.
All he wanted was to protect the Uchiha clan and protect his brother. After Izuna died, he had confessed that he didn't have anything to look forward for. Somehow, I had convinced him that he still had his clan and he could protect them as his own family. It had worked too. The peace treaty that was signed and things were starting to become okay. True, they weren't completely accepted yet, but there were changes, right? And we had to give time for the changes to work in our favor. After all, the peace treaty was in a sense a way in which two opposing clans came together to use their strength and protect those important to them.
Then....why was Madara so depressed and upset when I saw him? The way he had held me, the way he had kissed me....it was almost desperate for me to acknowledge and return his gesture. And I had. More like, I couldn't refuse because I loved him too.
But why had he sent me here? To a future where neither he nor the Uchihas existed? What was the purpose of me coming here if he himself didn't exist anyway? Jeez he was so frustrating sometimes!
"Mio san, this is where you'll be staying." We stopped in front of an apartment complex and I looked up at it. Izumo san led me to the first floor and unlocked one of the apartments. I stepped inside and looked around. It was a simple one bedroom house with some furniture already in it. "I will call Kakashi san and have him introduce himself to you. Of there is anything you need, you can ask him." I nodded with a smile. "Thank you, Izumo san." He nodded back and left the apartment.
I closed the door and walked into the bedroom. I was exhausted from the day's events and I fell face first onto the soft and welcoming bed. I sighed ans closed my eyes tiredly. I cant believe I'm saying this....but I was missing him already. Why couldn't he have just agreed to what I said and stayed with me until I ended up going back yo my world? Why did he have to be so stubborn?
And look where I ended up! I ended up in a place where he doesn't exist! That idiot....honestly, what was he thinking?
I opened my eyes to look at the sheets in front of me and I sighed again. I slowly sat up on my knees and looked out of the window. It was a peaceful night with almost bo clouds. I could see so many stars shining brightly. I felt homesick and Madara-sick. Talk about being dramatic....and I hate being dramatic. But what can I do? I was Madara-sick. And it was going to be this way for God knows how long.
I shook my head at my hopelessness and looked at the moon in the sky. "Madara, why on earth did you send me here?" I mumbled into the silence.
