Mi Ho pov:
Jeez! I cannot believe I forgot about the recording again!
The last time when I had danced, back in the Senju compound, my eonnis had told me that on May 15th, we would have to record the dance for the song Lucifer by SHINee. I had been practicing for it at the Senju compound, but ever since I came here, I hadn't been able to practice even a step. I mean, my phone and other stuff had been confiscated and I was given chores that kept me busy for the whole day. And in the night, I would sleep in a congested room with almost twenty other women while being watched by guards....besides I was too tired to practice at the end of the hectic day anyway.
But recoding dances was really important to me and I somehow had to get Madara to give me permission to get this done.
I followed the guards to a room and the minute I entered, a wave of dizziness hit me. The room had a thick aroma of sake and my eyes stung as the vapours irritated my nose and throat. I coughed and made a face of distaste seeing Madara, Izuna and the ten other people I had seen earlier sitting there with women pouring them sake. There was one woman serving sake to two men. Madara and Izuna had separate persons to serve them and the room was filed with chatter. All of them were lying around lazily, their faces slightly flushed and grinning while talking to each other.
When I entered, the chattering in the room stopped and all of them looked at me in disgust. I refrained from rolling my eyes and I walked to Madara. I didn't sit down and I looked down at him. He had his eyes closed as he sipped his sake and he didn't bother to look at me even though I had come to stand in front if him.
"You know, its not nice to ignore people when they've come to talk to you." I said and I could feel multiple glares from the people around me. Madara paused with the sake cup at his lips. He pulled it away and opened his eyes to look at me. I clenched my fists seeing his sharingan but I didn't look away from him. I knew he was trying to intimidate me and I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of seeing me submit.
"Who do you think you're talking to?" He asked. His voice was slightly husky from the sake and his eyes narrowed at me. I sighed and shifted on my feet. "You've asked me that questions a million times already. I believe that you know what kind of person I am and the way I talk to people especially when you ask me these kind of things. So asking that question.....I would think its unnecessary."
"Hn." He scoffed and sipped his sake again. "And why are you here? I don't want you to ruin my mood." I rolled my eyes again at his attitude. "I came here to ask for my bag. There's something I have to do which I even did in front of the Senju. Its really important to me, so I need my stuff and a room to give a performance." I said and he looked at me suspiciously. "Performance?" I nodded. He just watched silently for a minute and I noticed the woman serving him sake watch him nervously. "I decline."
I huffed. "Look, I'm not doing anything suspicious and besides, it's entertainment. Its something you can watch too." I was trying a different method to convince him. This recording was important to me and I had to get him agree in one way or another so I tried being nice. "Oh? And what entertainment is it?" He pushed. "Dancing." "Dancing? So you dance to impress the men." I clenched my fist. "No, I dance because I like it and because people of any age and place like it."

He chuckled and held his sake cup out. The woman poured him more sake and he watched me with a smirk. "I will let you do your dancing.....on one condition." Obviously. I thought. "And that is?" "An apology." I frowned at his condition. "Apology? For what?" I laughed and he lost his smirk. He narrowed his eyes at me and so did Izuna. "You owe aniki an apology for your disrespectful behavior."
"Excuse me? For your information, I wouldn't have acted that way if you guys had been nicer to me. For all I know, I think you totally deserved everything I did." I crossed my arms and he growled. He stood up, throwing the sake cup to the floor and shattering it in the process. In a split second, he grabbed my collar and shoved me against the wall. "Watch your tongue girl." He sneered. I stuck my tongue out and squinted my eyes....and I was rewarded with a hard slap.
"Are you making a fool out of me?!" He yelled and I licked the blood from my busted lip. "Why should I, oh great Madara sama? You asked me to watch my tongue, and that's what I did." I replied smartly and he grabbed my neck. He snarled out causing me to flinch for the first time in front of him. "Wench!!" He yelled and I pulled at his hand that was now close to choking me. He seemed to realize that he was suffocating me and he threw me sideways to the floor. I coughed, holding my neck which was sure to have red marks now.
"You dare to insult someone who is at a level much above you?! If it were anyone else, I would have sliced off their tongue and limbs!" He yelled and I stood up. "Again with the ego." "Silence or I'll...." I didn't let him complete his sentence. "Yeah yeah, you'll cut off my tongue. I get it. But seriously, your attitude is the one that needs an adjustment. You cant make people like you or follow you because of the fear they have to your strength. You have to reach out with your heart. But I guess people like you wouldn't know something like that, would you?"
"What did you say?!" "Besides...." I continued as I dusted my clothes. "..if you're really as great as you say, why don't you actually prove it instead of trying to silence my insults with violence? Because if you don't do anything besides silencing me, I'll be very tempted to think that what I say is actually right." Madara and Izuna gritted their teeth and sent dangerously threatening glares at me. For a moment, I regretted for saying what I did, but Madara closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths to compose himself.
"If you wish to do your so called dancing..." He sneered out. "...I expect and apology as well as acceptance that you wont complain about doing chores anymore." "Uh huh? Apology to some extent in understandable, but I refuse to do chores." I said and they sat down again. The woman got out another cup and poured more sake for him and he sipped it. "Its either you agree to these conditions or you might as well give up on your dancing."
"This is totally not fair!" I yelled but he didn't even react. "Your choice." He said and I clenched my jaw. But right now, dancing was more important than my pride in front of this jerk. Either way, I didn't think I really care what this noodle brain thought of me in the first place. I guess I would have to live with doing some annoying chores if I wanted to continue doing what I loved. So swallowing all my pride, I looked at the ground beside me.

"I will do my chores without complaints from now on. And I'm sorry for everything I did to you until now." Not. I said and Madara watched me. I didn't look at him but I could feel him watching me. The other people in the room chuckled hearing my apology. It was embarrassing but I clenched my jaw to stop the anger that wanted to be thrown out.
"You. Take her to her bag and let her get what she wants." Madara said and the girl serving him for up and gave a deep bow. "As you wish, Madara sama. Please follow me." She said to me and I swiftly walked out of the room.
When I was a good distance away, I stopped walking as I fumed in anger. "That jerk! I cant believe I actually apologized to him. In front of all those people! Aarrgghh! Sometimes, I just want to...." I let out another growl in anger as I punched my palm hard several times. I was imagining that Madara was a bug in my hand and I was squashing him in my palm in anger.....and I was so tempted to do that if it wasn't for the differences in out strengths. I fisted both hands and closed my eyes trying to calm down. I wonder what I did in my past life to end up with a guy like Madara.
"You shouldn't talk to Madara sama that way. He is a prodigy. The strongest ninja and the pride of our clan. He's a very generous leader and the Uchihas have become one of the strongest because of him and Tajima san." I looked at the girl who was leading me and I raised a brow. "I'm sorry, but I don't need any advice from someone who doesn't know anything besides grovelling at his feet." I said and she turned red. "I do not grovel! And I am honored to be the one to serve Madara sama sake! I love him very much and this is a chance for me to be submissive and serve him to prove my worth to be his future wife!" I frowned at what she said. She loves him? She wanted to be his future wife?
"I don't know what you see in him....and I don't know why you told me this either." I said with a hint of amusement and she turned even redder. "I-I....I mean, well...." "Never mind. Just take me to my bag." I rolled my eyes as she stuttered out incoherent words. She was quite flustered by her confession and in a way, I found her naivety sort of cute....even though it was towards Madara. She just nodded and turned around to walk to where my bag was and I followed her silently.
Madara pov:
"Tch! Foolish wench thinks she can insult me! If she says something like that one more time, I really will end up killing her!" I yelled as I punched my fist into the wall leaving a hole. "Aniki..." "Dancing she says. I'm sure that what she does will be an insult to dancing. Foolish woman cant even clean the floors right and now she tells me she wants to dance!"
"Aniki, calm down. If we're not happy with what she is doing, we can always lock her up. She's even lesser than child's play. But we need her ability so we cant harm her." Izuna said and I scoffed. "Obviously. At least she has learnt to behave in one way. Keeping that aside, where is she? She's taking too long." I said annoyed. But I felt her chakra and I narrowed my eyes as she neared the gathering room.
I narrowed my eyes further when she came into view. She had somehow shortened her hair and she was wearing strange clothes that made her look slightly boyish. She wore a short shirt over which she had a full sleeve loose coat. She also wore a strange cloth around her neck and she tight pants. She had a slim body and the clothes pretty much stuck to her figure, emphasising her curves to some extent.
All of my men in the room fell silent and watched her. It would be a lie to say that she wasn't a sight any man would want to see, but I wasn't going to fall for her tricks. No matter what good a body she had, it didn't mean that she was worth looking at....even though I did think she was beautiful.
She looked passive and she walked to me. "I'm going to need space to move around when I dance. So I will need at least half of this hall clear." I narrowed my eyes. She looked calm and confident now and I got a sudden desire to say yes to her requests just to see what she would do. I just nodded and I asked my men to move and give her place. Well, its not like she could escape or try anything funny when there were so many of us here, so might as well enjoy her stupidity.
She wore a bracelet and she set up another strange object in the middle of the room. She fumbled with it and a few seconds later images of four other people appeared. They weren't clear; they were hazy outlines. But sensing danger, all of us in the room activated our sharingan as a reaction. But the minute the outlines appeared, Mio's face lit up brightly. All signs of the anger and irritation she had earlier were gone and a wide smile broke out on her face.
"Eonniya!!" "Mi Ho ya!" She and the hazy outlines communicated. I frowned suspiciously but it was as if Mio had forgotten about the people in this room. Without the attitude, she looked very beautiful, a calm serene aura around her. The atmosphere around me that had been dense and irritating suddenly cleared out and became lighter as she smiled in happiness.
"Pogoshipposso [I missed you!]" Mio said and I didn't understand what she said. In fact, she was talking with those hazy figures in a different language the whole time and I didn't understand a single word despite having my sharingan activated. But it looked like she was apologizing sheepishly for something and the other people were playfully scolding her. It was like she was a completely different person at the moment.
Besides that, all the people Mio was talking to were women. But they were dressed boyishly like her.
"Yah yah....onje kaji gidaryo ba? Palli shijakeyo! [oi oi....how long should I wait? Start quickly!]" we heard another voice. A male voice. I activated my sharing an but I could neither sense anyone nor see anyone. Mio stuck out her tongue to the side with a smile and laughed. "Araso oppa! [alright big bro!]" she said and all of them came together.
They put their hands one on top of the other and moved it in the air several times. "Aja aja fighting!" They cheered and Mio walked to the wall of the room and gathered with he other hazy people in a straight line. Mio rotated her head and did some short stretches. I was skeptical about her behavior now. It looked like she was working on flexibility and that was usually done before a fight. Was she planning ti figrh? But she said she was going to dance....
She took a deep breath and all of them lowered their heads. I frowned and all of us stiffened when we heard a strange noise. For the first few seconda, no one moved. But voices singing was heard and Mio stepped forward along with the others.
Her expression was passive, cool and slightly bossy. And I didn't like it one bit.
[a/n: Consider Mio to be the person in the video, second from the left. That guy has more center stage time :P]
Within seconds, she skipped on her feet and threw out a punch in the air. She was watching mw specifically and holding out a fist like that was a way of challenging your opponent. I stood up as I cracked my knuckles, but then she lip synced some of the lyrics and turned away. And then she began to do random movements.
Is this what she called dancing? It was strange and yet her movements were fluid and well practiced. And all of the people who were dancing were perfectly in sync. They moved around in the space backwards, forwards, sideways as they danced and I didn't understand even an ounce of the lyrics. Only at the end, I understood the words 'loveholic' and 'lovetronic'.
But she was good. Her movements were precise and fluid and unfortunately I couldn't take my eyes off her.
They all danced for several minutes and they stopped while holding their hands up. They were all mouthing the lyrics and they changed their stance as the song came to an end. They didn't move for a few minutes and I narrowed my eyes. "Aaaaaaaand cut!" The male voice called again and they all relaxed. "Yo yo yo! Moshinne!! [that was cool!]" The voice said and Mio grinned.
Her behavior was definitely something I hadn't expected to see. She was always talking back with no respect whatsoever, she was complaining about chores and we all hated her guts. She reached for her hair and undid the constraints that were holding it up and she shook her head from side to side as her hair fell smoothly on her back.
I couldn't take my eyes off her. I clenched my fists as my chest felt uncomfortably tight and some sort of possessiveness shot through me. She was smiling and laughing. Her cheeks were slightly flushed because of the dancing and I felt a tight lump in my throat. I swallowed thickly and clenched my jaw. She had another few minutes of conversation with those women and waved as they disappeared.
Mio gave a sigh and turned to me. As soon as she saw me, she lost the serene and happy look on her face and she sighed. She shook her head and picked up the objects on the floor and took off the bracelet. She stopped in front of me and crossed her arms as she looked up at me. "Do you believe me now?" She asked and I narrowed my eyes.
I was still very uncomfortable with her standing in front of me. I couldn't tell what I was feeling, but I disliked it and liked it at the same time. And I knew I had to get away from her if I wanted the feeling to go away. I threw the sake cup to the floor causing the woman serving me to flinch and I turned around. I walked to the door and paused. "Get back to your chores." I said without looking at her and I heard a sigh.
"Party pooper." She mumbled but ignored it and walked away. It was probably the effect if the sake. I was drunk and I wasn't in the right mind. I should get some sleep and everything would be back to normal by the time I woke up.
"Wait! Madara!" I gritted my teeth as I felt her presence behind ne. I turned around stiffly and glared. "What do you want now?" I hissed and she gave an awkward smile. "Well....I wanted to say thank you for letting me do the dance. Even though we will probably go back to being oil and water tomorrow, I just though I should say thanks. And I do have a request. I want to keep at least my phone with me so I can listen to music as I work. Of I have music, it will be easier for me to work and I wont bother you with any whining."
I watched her silently for a moment, the strange possessiveness coming over me. Dammit! I turned away and clenched my fists until I could feel it piercing the skin of my palms. "Do as you wish." I hissed out and walked away. "Thank you!" She called out from the distance and I finally made it to my room. I walked in and slammed the door shut. I leaned against the door and glared at the ground. What was wrong with me? What had happened to me back there? I don't understand!
Tch! It doesn't matter. I just had too much sake today. I walked to the bed and took off my shirt. I threw it to the side annoyed, letting it land in a heap. I got into the bed and under the covers. I lay on my back and looked at the ceiling. The room was dark and an image of Mio smiling flashed in front of my eyes. I cursed and turned to the side. "Stupid woman." I muttered and closed my eyes.
The effect of the sake took over rather quickly making dreamless sleep take over my senses.
