《Gentle Turbulence - Uchiha Madara Love Story》Chapter 9 - The Uchihas

Mi Ho pov:
How long till we get there?!! Ugh, my stomach was killing me! If I had known I was going to be manhandled like this, I would have skipped doing stomach crunches and making my abs so sore! And having this guy carry me on his shoulder like some rag doll wasn't helping my already sore abs!!!
I don't know how long it took for us to reach the compound of this clan, but when we did reach, I was dropped to the ground unceremoniously. I coughed as I landed in the hard ground and I clutched the cloth over my stomach. I coughed more and I heard a scoff from the person who had carried me here. "Appo....[that hurts]" I mumbled and looked up at the man to give him a glare. Ha narrowed his eyes at my behavior and glared back.
"Cant you be gentler?!" I yelled at him and he looked irritated. "Don't you know how to talk to superiors? Especially sine you are talking to men? And its not my fault that you're so pathetically weak." He sneered and I rolled my eyes. I winced as I stood up slowly while still holding my stomach. "I am not weak, okay? I've been exercising and concentrating on my core since the past week and I'm sore there. And carrying me on your shoulder like a rag doll didn't help my already aching abs. And what's with the 'you have to know how to talk to men' part? Talk about a major ego issue." I said and crossed my arms.
"And who are you anyway? I mean, you just randomly pop up in the Senju compound and you take me away without even telling me who you are. That's real rude, you know?" He narrowed his eyes and so did the men who were standing behind him. "I am Uchiha Madara, leader of the Uchiha clan." "Ah! So you're the clan with the sharingan. The red eye thing." I said and he frowned more. "I see you have been informed."
"Yeah, well the Senjus kept mentioning your clan for a lot if things. It was starting to get to me so I asked to know about your clan. I read a few books about your clan and your abilities, but there wasn't anything in detail." I shrugged as I picked up my bag from the floor. I dusted it and put it over my shoulder before looking at this Madara person again. "So, do I have to meet your father as well? Hashirama and Tobirama were particular about that when I first arrived there." "Don't you dare say his name in front of me!" I cringed back slightly as he yelled. He looked really pissed and I gave him a 'stop-giving-me-that-look' expression. I took in a breath from my mouth and rolled my eyes. "Alright, alright! No need to get so huffy! Jeez...."
"Aniki." I looked begin him and a person looking just like him came into view. "Oh! So you have a younger brother too. You two look really alike....unlike Hashi, I mean, unlike the Senjus." I corrected as he gave me another signature glare. Wow, this guys face seemed to be scrunched up all the time. He'd probably get wrinkles early.
"So this is her?" The younger one said and I held up a peace sign and grinned. "Hey! Pleasure to meet you." "What is your name?" He asked with a narrow gaze. "You know, its not nice to ask people's names before introducing yourself....especially when you guys kidnapped me." "Hold your tongue wench!" Madara yelled and I raised a brow at him. "Why is everyone here so stiff? Haven't you heard, give respect to get respect?"

"Wench!" Madara yelled and shot forward. I gasped as I was pushed on my back onto the ground and he was hovering over me with a tight grip on my throat. It was suffocating. His hold was really tight a d I was choking. I held his hand and tried to pull it off but it wouldn't budge. I pushed on his chest desperately and he loosned his hold. I opened my eyes to look at him and saw his red eyes. The minute I net his gaze, I was plunged into a world of black, red and white.
I blinked ad I looked around. I couldn't tell where I was and I was pretty much standing on thin air. It was weird and a little uncomfortable. "Are you afraid?" I turned around to see Madara. I frowned and pouted. "Not really....where exactly are we?" I asked and he narrowed his eyes. "You are in my tsukiyomi. Do you know what that means?" I nodded and thought for a moment. "Um...if my memory serves right, its a illusion technique that you possess because of your sharingan. So you can make the opponent see what you want them to, right?"
"Not bad. It looks like you've done some research." "Yeah, I mentioned before remember? I read books." He narrowed his eyes and walked towards me. I walked around me observing me and I rolled my eyes. "Do you know what I can do in the tsukiyomi?" He asked and I shrugged. "Nope. There wasn't any information on that." The minute those words left my mouth, I gasped feeling intense pain in my stomach.
I looked down and my eyes went wide when I saw the blade of a sword sticking out of me. It was stained red with my blood and I coughed. Blood dribbled down my chin as I coughed. I threw up more blood as the sword was pulled out if me and I fell to my knees clutching the wound. My eyes were wide and I was sweating. I panted and looked up as Madara came to stand in front of me. He crouched in front if me with an amused look on his face and he used the blade of the bloody sword to lift my chin.
"It seems that you have no comeback now." He said and I narrowed my eyes. I spat out blood to the side and glared. "Pathetic. You use abuse and violence to silence someone when you feel insulted?" I said and he narrowed his eyes dangerously. His sharingan was glowing but I wasn't afraid. I wasn't going to back down. I knew I was important because if my power and Madara wouldn't really kill me, but if he thought he could threaten me by doing something like this, he was dead wrong.
Hr stood up and pieced the sword through my shoulder. I choked back a scream and bit my lip hard as I closed my eyes tightly. He twisted the blade in my shoulder and I couldn't help but yell in pain this time. "Y-you're....sick!" I said as he laughed. "Oh?" He thrust the sword into my shoulder till the hold and I screamed. He crouched in front of me again and grabbed my jaw in a tight grip. I squinted one eye to look at him. I was panting and sweating profusely and he was smirking at me. "Not so strong now are you? And I'm not even using one quarter of my true power."

I let out a shuddery breath and lost balance of my arm as he twisted the sword again. I fell forward against him with my cheek against his shoulder. The pain was too intense and I gritted my teeth. "It would be wise for you to behave from now on. Learn some respect or I'll just have to make your experience even more painful than this. I don't care how the Senjus treated you, but don't compare us with them. I will not tolerate such imprudence." He hissed out into my ear.
I blinked and the next minute, I wad back in the normal world. I saw him, his younger brother and the clansmen watching me. I tried to move my hand but a wave of pain hit my body and I collapsed to the ground on my knees. I coughed feeling like I couldn't breathe and every muscle in my body burned. I breathed heavily and stayed motionless until the burning sensation in my muscles went away.
I closed my eyes as my breathing regularized and I looked up at Madara with a defiant glare. But I didn't say a word. I knew what he was capable of now. I thought that causing an illusion was similar to hypnosis, but this was insane. I gritted my teeth as I held in the line of insults I wanted to throw at him. I took a deep breath and nanged to stand up as I watching his smirking face. "Now, answer the question." He said. "My name is Jung Mi Ho. But you can call me Mio."
"Jung Mi Ho.....thats a rather strange name. I'm Izuna, Madara's younger brother." He said but I just looked away. Madara chuckled at my silence. He turned around and the other men behind him came to stand around me. Tobirama had taught me how to control hearing people's thoughts so I took a chance to hear what Madara was thinking.
Foolish wench. She dares to talk back to me? A woman should know her place! Talking up to a man let alone me, Uchiha Madara! If she opens her mouth again, I’ll have to show her her place!
I rolled my eyes as I followed him. These Uchihas had some major ego issues. If I thought the way Butsuma san and Tobirama acted was annoying, these guys seemed to be over the top! Madara was probably the one with the most ego though. I mentally groaned for getting stuck with these people now.
I didn’t want to have to go through that kind of mental torture again, so I would be obedient…..partially. if he tried to bully me or insult me, oh yes, I was so gonna kick him back! Heck, I was CIA material and some stupid illusion that made my muscles sore wasn’t going to keep me on the floor. And if he thought he could push me around with his physical strength, I was going to attack him with my intelligence!
We made it to a room a few minutes later and Madara walked in without bothering to knock. “Hey old man!” He called and I frowned. I blinked when I man and woman walked out from behind a curtain and I gave a bow in acknowledgement with my head. “Madara! Is that the way to talk to your father?” The woman scolded lightly and I resisted from sighing.
That’s definitely a question to ask. I mean, he called his father ‘old man’! That was just plain rude! “Tou sama.” Izuna bowed in respect as Madara sat down with a scoff. At least one of them has some respect for their parents. I thought. “Madara, I know that you are the leader of the clan now, but don’t forget that I was the one who raised you to who you are.” “Yeah yeah, don’t make it too mushy, old man.” Madara muttered and I coughed out a laugh.
Thankfully the pain in my body was gone now. It was momentary so I was feeling totally normal now. And when I coughed, the man, woman and three other elderly people who were in the room looked at me. I just looked away without saying anything.
“And who is this?” Madara’s father asked and Madara motioned for me to sit next to him. “This is that girl Izuna told you about. The one who can predict danger and who was helping the Senjus protect themselves from our attacks.” Madara’s father looked over me and I watched him passively as well. “She seems to lack submissiveness in the presence of a man.” He commented and I sighed inaudibly. Here we go again…..
“What is your name girl? And your age?” He changed the topic. “My name is Jung Mi Ho, but you can call me Mio. And I’m 18 years old.” “Where do you come from?” “Seoul, South Korea.” “Is it true that you can detect danger?” What was this? 20 questions? I was being interrogated like some criminal here….that how the atmosphere felt anyway.
“Yes, I can.” I decided to keep the ‘hearing people’s thoughts’ part a secret for the time being. I could use it to my advantage and figure out what these people were thinking and what they would do with me and my abilities. Well, it was obvious that they would use my ability to defend themselves while fighting other clans, but there’s nothing wrong in being a little cautious, is there?
“And how do you know it?” He narrowed his eyes and I could feel the stares of everyone in the room in me. Well, Madara’s stare was more of a glare and it was annoying, but I pushed the feeling away to keep my cool while answering the questions thrown at me. “I tend to get a bad vibe from the person who gets attacked. Its like a dark aura of sorts and I can somehow tell where they are going to get hurt. The attack cannot be missed completely as I have observed, but it can be prevented from being a fatal blow.”
Madara’s father watched me intently for a few minutes. No one spoke and I didn’t interrupt the silence either.
“I am Uchiha Tajima, former leader of the Uchiha clan and father to Madara and Izuna. This is my wife Uchiha Mioki.” He said and I bowed my head slightly at the woman. It was quite a coincidence that her name was similar to mine. But I had also noticed that throughout the meeting, she hadn’t lifted her gaze even once. She sat silently, her head down and her hands in her lap. She didn’t say a word after what she said to Madara and she looked calm and….submissive.
I controlled my expression as a look of annoyance wanted to surface. is this what Madara meant by ‘submissive’? Not talking, not raising your head with dignity, and letting the men be completely dominant? Alright, there was absolutely NO way I was going to be ‘submissive’. Nuh uh! I was proud, dignified and I was going to show them that. Thinking so I lifted my chin a little higher and Tajima san narrowed his eyes.
Hmmm, she seems rather disobedient. No matter, a few days in the compound she will come around.
I heard Tajima san think and I mentally scoffed. Yeah right.
“Madara, make sure she gets out of those disgusting Senju clothes and take her to the main house. “Hn.” Madara said and stood up. “What are you still sitting for? Get up!” He yelled at me. I rolled my eyes but stood up and picked up my bag. “Wait, what do you have in the bag?” Tajima san asked and immediately, Izuna snatched the bag from my hands.
“Hey! Give it back!” I yelled and tried to reach for it, but he took a hold of my arm and twisted it behind my back. “Ow! Ow! Ow!!!” I yelped and I sighed irritated. “I just have clothes, a few books and my cell phone! Stop acting like a bunch of jerks and give it back!” Izuna twisted my hand more and I cursed under my breath. “What is this…..cell phone that you mentioned?”
I glared as everything in my bag was dumped to the ground and finally my phone fell out. Tajima san picked it up and turned it around to observe it. “That….is my cell phone. It’s a communication device used in my dimension and so are the other two things you can see there.” I motioned with my eyes to the hologram bracelet and display. He picked those up as well and looked at them.
“Communication device? So you can easily communicate with the Senju?” Madara growled and I huffed. “Hello?! Are all of you deaf or something? I said from my dimension.” I stressed. “Your dimension? What do you mean?” I narrowed my eyes and deadpanned. “Which word from the sentence don’t you understand?”
I was given a hard slap on my cheek from Madara as a return to my attitude. “Wench!” He yelled and I glared back at him. He pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes as hi gritted his teeth. “Pick up your trash and lets go. I want to get you out of my sight before I end up killing you in annoyance!” He hissed and Izuna let me go. I clenched my jaw and picked up the clothes and stuffed them into my bag again.
I stood up straight bringing the bad over my shoulders and glared at the ground. “Jincha micchosso….[this is really crazy]” I muttered and Madara led me out of the room.
We made it to another building in a few minutes and women scurried around with their heads low as Madara walked through the hallways. “G-good morning, M-madara sama! I-izuna sama!” Their voices were filled with fear as they greeted him and the men who were there bowed their heads as well and greeted them with respect. They weren’t scared like the women. But I noticed that not even a single person dared to look at Madara’s or Izuna’s eyes and I frowned.
We stepped into a room and three women got on their knees and bowed. “Madara sama, how can we assist you?” These three women didn’t seem worried like the others. They were calm and business like but of course, they didn’t lift their eyes to see Madara. “Have this wench cleaned out of the Senju clothes. Burn the clothes later. And have her learn some manners before you assign her with chores.”
I blinked. What? “Chores? Why should I do any chores?” I asked turning to him and the women in the room gasped softly. “Because you are a woman! And women have just three jobs – chores, satisfying their husbands and bearing heirs for the clan. Now get to your chores!” I gave an amused laughed. “You are so primeval. There is no way I am going to do chores of any sorts.” “Oh, then you would rather spend a good time with me in my tsukiyomi?” He sneered and I cringed.
I looked away angry but with no words leaving my mouth as a back answer. “That’s what I thought.” He ripped my bag away from me and I glared. “Give me back my bag. You already saw what was in it.” I said and he threw the bag to one of the women. “Make sure you keep that out of her reach. She doesn’t need it while she’s here.” Saying so, he turned around and walked away followed by Izuna.
I clenched my fists as I watched him till he disappeared. “Kimakyo….[unbelieveable]” This was completely unbelievable. Women were only for three reasons? Give me a break! I was here for barely a few hours and I already hated his haughty attitude! And he wanted me to do chores here?! If not I would have to experience his tsukiyomi?!!
Alright, I’ll listen to you for now. But just wait and see, Mr. Noodle brain! This wasn’t enough to silence me. This meant war.

Think of this as a combination of Dr Stone and Black Clover! I am writing this story using similar structures to anime seasons, and the chapters in itself are structured more like manga chapters. The first two seasons are already planned out, and it is likely going to be daily upload (12 noon EST) of chapters from ~ 2 k words in length during the 'season' when there is backlog of chapters, with a week or two of a break in between seasons if no backlog. If you liked this story, please drop a rating and review. If you hated it, please drop a review and help me get better. Don't just spam a 0.5 rating and leave like a coward lol.
