《Madara x Oc》Chapter 19

(Time skip something around three years)
I woke up to a soft crying and my door creaking open. I opened my eyes blearily and looked at the celing for a moment before turning my head to see what the noise was. I immediatly sat straight up, suddenly wide away as I looked down at Ami who was slumped on her knees in the doorframe.
"Mommy" She sobbed
"Ami what happened?" I asked quickly kneeling down in front of her, I removed her glasses so I could unstick her hair from her tearstained cheeks. She shook her head and buried her face in my shoulder, letting out another sob
"Naria?" Madara mumbled from behind me and I glanced back, seeing his form silhouetted by moonlight as he sat up. I felt Ami jerk in my arms and immediately got up and tugged her hand so she stumbled with me towards the bathroom.. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was happening as she huddled around my toilet.. I had been in this same exact place and if I was being completely honest I had to stop myself from chuckling as she leaned back and wiped her mouth.
"Why are you crying sweetie?" I asked as I scooted a bit closer to her and moved some hair behind her ear
"Because I'm barely eighteen" she whined and I actually let out a chuckle as I wiped her eyes
"So?" I asked and she lurched forward again. I rubbed her back soothingly and looked up when I saw movement by the door frame. Madara walked in and gently pulled her hair back and tied it in a loose bun for her at the base of her neck. His hand joined mine on her back as she leaned back again, choking out another weak sob
"Dadd" She whined, turning her body slightly so she could wrap her arms around his waist. He fell back against the wall and I covered my mouth so I didn't show the smile that spread across my face
"What's going on?" Madara asked as he rubbed her back soothingly
"Ami's pregnant" I said simply and I saw the hand she had fisted in his black shirt tightened its hold. Madara's mouth fell open as he looked at me over her shoulder
"Are you serious?" He asked, all signs of sleep gone from his voice and I nodded. Before he could say anything about murdering Kagami I sent him a warning glance and moved to lean my back against the wall next to him.
"Ami look at me" I said softly and she pulled her face away from Madara to do as I said
"I still don't understand why you are crying" I said finally and she shuddered again
"I'm a kid mom.. I still live with you. I still doodle on every single mission report I give to Uncle Hashi.. I still eat cereal right from the box and.. And I still play kids games with Masura.. I can't be a parent" she choked out and I smiled
"Those things have nothing to do with being a parent.. The first few years after I had you I was more of a child then half of the children in the Senju.. I mean, I still act like a big kid and there is nothing wrong with that" I said softly
"Plus the games you play with Masura are only going to help with having a child" Madara added, wiping the fresh tears from her cheeks
"Look Ami, I still got you beat by a few months.. I got pregnant with you the day of my eighteenth birthday and you are already so much better off than I was" I said, scotching a bit closer so I could rub her back softly

"There isn't a massive war going on.. You are living in a village that is safe.. You don't have to worry about sending your child to war when they turn six annnd have your parents to help you... you also have Masura who is going to be over the moon about this and if we aren't of any use to you then you have Uncle Hashi, Uncle Tobi and Auntie Mito.. but most importantly you still have Kagami" I said and she whined
"He's on a mission right now what.. What if he doesn't come back" She hiccuped and I actually let out a laugh
"Why are you laughinggg?" She whined and I smiled at her
"Ami, Kagami is one of the strongest shinobi in this village.. That's like if I worried about Madara not coming back from a mission. Some part of me actually believes Madara is immortal...Kagami will come back" I said and she nodded and cracked a little smile
"Having a kid is probably the best thing in the world Ami and the beautiful thing is that when you have children you get to act like a kid still.. I mean do you remember all the stuff we did when you were really young, we would pull pranks on everyone we could and we would make huge messes in Hashirama's kitchen when we would have food fights" I said and she smiled
"And the forts" She said and I laughed remembering the forts we would make both in and outside Hashirama and Tobirama's house
"So you really don't have to worry too much sweetie, I will be here to help and you have a mini army of others" I said and she moved to wrap one arm around me as well as Madara. The sweet moment was broken as she leaned towards the toilet again
"How long does this lasttt" She whined and I giggled a bit as I patted her on the back
"Longer than you want it to" I said and she whined. I glanced at Madara's shocked expression as he looked at Ami's heaving form and I smiled over at him
"Yeah you missed out big time when I was pregnant" I said lightly as I got to my feet
"What do I do?" Ami asked standing up shakily and moving to the sink
"Drink a lot of water" I said almost immediately and I smiled as I got up and wrapped my arms around her tightly
"Aww you are going to be such a great mom Ami" I said excitedly as she hugged me back
"If I am anything like you then I will" She said and I felt my heart swell in my chest at her words. It seemed so long ago that Ami was a little girl sneaking away to hang out with Madara.. she had grown up so fast and now I was holding a woman in my arms instead of a smart ass kid.
"You should probably get back to sleep" I said and she sighed against my shoulder
"I was going to make you and Masura breakfast because of his first real real mission" She muttered and I smiled and kissed the side of her head
"Don't worry about it, I think being pregnant is a good excuse to skip out on making breakfast" I said and she giggled a bit, taking the glasses that I handed back to her
"Okay.. thanks mom, dad" She said quietly giving each of us a kiss on the cheek before wandering back out of the room.
"I feel like I immediately just aged ten years" I said once she was downstairs and Madara chuckled

"Me too" he added, kissing me on the forehead gently
"I am still winning though.. I got her by a few months at least" I said jokingly as I walked over to the bed and leaned back against the pillows.. I didn't intend to go back to sleep, there was no point in it now seeing as I would have to wake up again in twenty minutes
"Oh yes, I guess I forgot to pick up your award for getting pregnant so young" Madara said and I snorted with laughter as he sat next to me. It was silent for a bit as I leaned my head on his shoulder then I heard him sigh and I glanced up at his face
"Too bad I have to murder Kagami now.. I really liked him" He muttered and I had to stifle my laughter into his shirt
"I don't think that would be the best idea, few months too late for that" I said lightly once I had calmed myself down. We sat in silence for a bit, I was tracing shapes on Madara's chest, the prospect of dealing with a overly hormonal Ami not sitting well in my mind.
"I was supposed to go on a mission today too" Madara said absently and I puffed out a cheek
"I will talk to Hashi, I don't like the idea of leaving Ami alone in the house" I said thoughtfully and he hummed
"That's what I was thinking too" he said and smiled against the soft fabric of his night shirt. The sweet moment of quiet was broken but a loud thud as if someone had rolled out of bed. I giggled a bit and glanced to the door just as it opened revealing a disheveled looking Masura
"Mom why didn't you wake me! I need time to get ready" he exclaimed and I chuckled
"We are fine on time, it's not like we have a particular schedule anyways" I said and he threw his hands in the air dramatically
"This is my first real assignment as a Jonin I can't be late" He said darting out to the hall.
"Welp I guess I should get ready too" I said attempting to get up but Madara's long, slender fingers grasped around my waist and pulled me back against his chest. I rolled slightly so we were facing each other and I smiled at the affectionate look he gave me
"You don't get to leave so easily" he half growled and I smiled and pressed my lips to his for a soft kiss. One of his hands traced up the curve of my spine until he cupped the back of my neck, his thumb moving lazily across my cheek. When I pulled back his fingers let go of me and a pleased smile played across his lips. I crawled out of bed and pulled the black shirt off my body and smiled at the Uchiha crest it had on the back
"You know, I don't get why everyone thinks you are so evil Madara.. I mean I get why they think you are dangerous.. Obviously.. But you are like the nicest person around" I mused absently as I pulled on a black long sleeve under shirt
"You ever consider that I'm only friendly to you and the kids?" he asked and I shrugged, looking over my shoulder at him only to find him standing right behind me
"If so, it's impressive that you can just shut it on and off just like that.. I mean I don't think I could do that.. I am just nice to everyone.. or mostly everyone" I said and he smiled
"You are special Naria, you bring out the best in everybody you meet" he said and I smiled widely and looked in the mirror hung above our dresser. He wrapped his muscular arms around me and leaned his cheek to the side of my head, some of his pitch black bangs tickling my cheek.
"I hope you never see me the way others see me" he said quietly, closing his eyes. I frowned briefly but let the thought of his behavior on missions slip to the back of my mind
"Maa I love you no matter what" I said turning around and throwing my arms around his neck.
"Hard to believe" He said absently and I rolled my eyes and leaned up to press a kiss to his lips
"Stop making out and come on!!" Masura called coming into the room with his pants only pulled up one leg. I looked at him, and raised an eyebrow seeing that he was wearing bright red boxers with little Uchiha symbols on them. I sighed quietly and I opened my mouth but Madara beat me to it
"Calm down Masura the sun has barely risen, go get dressed properly you are old enough that none of us need to see you in your underwear anymore" he said firmly and I heard another thump as Masura fell in the hallway, no doubt trying to hop into the other leg of his sweats.
"I will go make food for you two" he said after a moment and I smiled thankfully as he walked to the door with a grace he normally didn't carry in the morning. I moved to grab a pair of pants but I froze when I heard Madara's voice again
"Oh Naria" He called, poking his head back in the door.
"Hmm?" I hummed glancing at him
"You forgot to put on a bra" He said with a barely noticeable wink before leaving the room once more. I sighed quietly and pulled off my shirt again to slip on a sports bra before putting it back on.
"Perv" I muttered as I slipped out of my pants and pulled on sweats. I went to the closet and browsed my options before pulling out a dark purple, long sleeve kimono shirt that had an Uchiha symbol printed on the back. I slipped it on easily and tied it before going to my side table drawer and pulling out wrappings to tie around my ankles. After I was fully dressed I brushed my teeth and hair before lazily making my way downstairs. Masura was already sitting at the table, scarfing down the breakfast Madara had made and I smiled seeing another plate across from him.
"Thanks love" I said looking at Madara's back as he threw food into bento boxes for us to take on our mission.
"No problem" He said glancing back and the immediate smirk that spread across his face made me laugh.
"I thought you were too stubborn to wear that because it looked so similar to my robes" he mused leaning back against the counter
"Well I thought about it and figured, either way I am going to wear it better than you" I said lightly a devilish grin spreading across his face
"We will have to discuss that when you come back" he said and I heard Masura choke behind me
"Stop flirting" He groaned and I smiled sitting down at the table.
"Hardly flirting, if you actually heard us flirting I don't think you would want to come home" Madara muttered and I nearly choked on my bite of food as I laughed. Masura sent a horrified glare at Madara who I knew would just be laughing in return. I glanced over my shoulder at Madara once I had got my breathing back to normal and as I thought he had a smile playing across his lips. He looked cutest this way, in his pajamas, his hair a bit disheveled from sleep, a glint in his eye that showed how happy he really was and a smile playing across his lips. I looked at him for a moment, appreciating him before I turned back and started to eat again. I ate breakfast quickly, mainly because Masura seemed so antsy to get on with the mission. Once done I stuffed the bento box in my extra pouch and Masura did the same
"Bye dad" He called already walking out the door and I rolled my eyes as I walked up to Madara
"Be safe" he said smoothly and I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck
"Always" I murmered and I leaned back to smile up at him
"Give Ami whatever she asks for, for your own safety.. Being naucious all the time can make a girl grumpy" I said and he chuckled
"Thanks for the warning" he said and I smiled
"Come on mom!" Masura called outside and I giggled
"Bye sweetie" I said pressing my lips to his
"See you in a few days" he said as I walked out the door. I caught up with Masura who was doing a little anxious dance off to the side between ours and Tobirama's house. I debated breifly if we should stop to say 'hi' but with how much Masura wanted to go get our mission I decided we better not. We made it to the office quickly enough and waited as the team before us got assigned a mission. Once we were called in I smiled widely at the two brothers who were in the room.
"Morning" I said cheerily giving them both a hug
"Morning you two, are you excited for your first mission as a Jonin, Masura?" Hashirama asked and Masura grinned widely
"So excited!! What is it!?" He asked as Hashirama flicked through the papers on his desk. He stopped at one and glanced up at me
"Madara was supposed to get a mission today too, is he coming later?" He asked and I shook my head
"Funny story.. Although I don't think I should be the one to tell you it. He can't do a mission until I come back" I said and he raised an eyebrow at me
"You can't say that and then not tell me!!" he whined loudly and I rolled my eyes at how childish he sounded. I walked over and firmly covered Masura's ears and whispered, barely audably 'Ami's pregnant' to them both. Tobirama seemed to get it immediately because his eyes grew wide but Hashirama just looked at me quizzically. I tried again and his jaw nearly hit the table as he stood to his feet.
"Don't talk I don't want Masura to know yet" I said quietly enough that the annoyed boy didn't hear
"Oh sorry" Hashirama said but I could tell he was all but jumping out of his sandals.
"I don't want him to leave her home alone since Kagami is out on a mission too" I whispered and he nodded once. I let go of Masura and he turned to glare at me
"Why are there secrets being kept from me" he whined and I shrugged
"No idea what you're talking about" I said, trying to keep a straight face. He opened his mouth again to protest but Tobirama cut in
"Why don't you take over the mission your father was supposed to go on" He said swiftly and I saw joy radiate from Masura's body almost as if someone had flipped a switch to change his mood instantly.
"Are you serious?! One of dad's missions" He exclaimed and I gave Tobirama a wary look
"What's the mission?" I asked and he shrugged
"Infiltration and assassination" he said and I bit the inside of my cheek looking at the boy who looked as though he would faint at the idea of pulling off one of Madara's missions
"Alright, we can do it" I said firmly and Hashirama grinned and tossed me a scroll
"Shouldn't take too long, but be careful this man was responsible for the destruction of a few villages between here and the Land of Wind. He has more than a few henchmen" Hashirama said and I nodded
"Okay sounds good" I said as I made my way to the door. Masura followed excitedly behind me after waving goodbye and we traipsed down the stairs.

8 252Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
