"Mom....Mommm" I heard a whisper above me accompanied by the shaking of my shoulders. I opened my eyes and moved my arm from around Madara so I could roll onto my back. I looked up at Masura who was on his knees on the other side of me

"What's wrong baby?" I asked, rubbing the sleep from one of my eyes

"I had a nightmare" He mumbled and I frowned

"Do you want to sleep in here?" I asked and he nodded his head. I moved so my back was facing Madara but there wasn't much room on the bed for Masura to sleep. I reached my hand back and grabbed hold of Madara's thigh to shake it

"Madara, move back" I muttered but he just grunted. I shook his leg again and he moved his hand to my side almost instinctively

"What?" He mumbled

"Move back.. You take up so much room" I muttered with a little laugh as he let out a annoyed grunt

"You are the one who moves while asleep" He muttered as he moved back

"I guess that's pretty accurate" I said as I moved back against him and lifted the blanket for Masura to get under.

"Why am I moving again?" he asked sleepily as he moved his arm around my waist

"Masura had a nightmare" I whispered as I ran my hand through Masura's hair

"Oh, well you have nothing to worry about Masura" He said as he moved his hand from my waist to rest on Masura's chest. I giggled a bit at the smile Masura got as he looked down at Masura's hand that seemed so big in comparison to Masura's small body

"Thanks dad" He said quietly as he closed his eyes. I put my hand next to Madara's and ran my thumb across his belly. I listened until his quiet snores filled the room and almost screamed when I heard Madara's voice because I thought he had fallen back asleep too

"I wish I had a mother to go to when I had nightmares as a child" He said quietly

"Yeah.. me too" I whispered

"At least I can give him something I never had, and now that you are here he has two parents to rely on" I said quietly and Madara leaned his forehead to the back of my head

"I'm glad I came back" He whispered and I smiled slightly as I pulled Masura a bit closer to me.

"Me too" I whispered as I closed my eyes and drifted back to sleep. I woke up agian when I felt another chakra signature in my house but once I was awake enough to sense the person I relaxed. The door slid open and Hashirama let out a chuckle

"Well isn't this a sight" He muttered looking at Masura, who had his arm wrapped around my shoulders and Madara who had his arm wrapped around my waist from behind

"Yeah I am in an Uchiha sandwich" I said quietly and he laughed again

"What brings you here?" I asked and he nodded his head towards Madara

"I need to borrow the longer haired one, nobody answered the door" He said and I chuckled as I bent my leg so I could push him towards the edge of the bed. I felt him jolt a bit and giggled quietly as he grabbed tighter to my waist to keep himself from landing on the ground

"I'm up" He said sleepily and I giggled as I looked over at him

"Morning Madara" Hashirama said amusedly and Madara looked up towards the door

"Oh" was all Madara said as he got to his feet. He quickly threw on his robes and came over to give me and Masura a kiss before he left through the door with Hashirama.

Madara's Pov:

After showing me around the newer part of the village Hashirama took a seat on a bench and motioned me to do the same

"So I assume I don't need to explain to you why you shouldn't leave" He said in a more serious voice than he had used so far

"I don't intend on leaving" I said firmly and he smiled over at me

"Good" he said happily

"Masura is a good kid, he obviously takes after you in appearance but he often reminds me of how you were when we were kids" He said

"Really? I was never really shy" I said and Hashirama laughed

"No of course not, that is very much from Naria but when he gets more comfortable with you, you will see it... he is a perfectionist when it comes to jutsu and he is very competitive" He said and I couldn't help but smile slightly thinking back to all the competitions I had with Hashirama when I was younger

"Ami and Masura are quite literally mini versions of you and Naria it's actually kind of scary" He said and I laughed quietly

"I heard you are a grandparent now" I said, glancing over at him and he grinned

"Oh yes you will have to meet her, little Tsunade, she is so young yet she has such an attitude" he said, laughter filling his voice. It was quiet for a bit but then I thought of something and turned to face Hashirama again

"I've asked Naria to marry me" I said simply and his mouth fell open as he leaned forward

"Did you really?" He asked excitedly and I nodded

"How did you do it? I didn't really have much choice with Mito but I have seen so many men in this village do extravagant things when they propose" He said excitedly and I raised an eyebrow

"I just said we should get married.. I didn't do anything extravagant.. Isn't that a bit unnecessary?" I asked and he stood to his feet immediately

"Of course it is! you have to do something nice for her, she is special" he said grabbing hold of my arm and pulling me to my feet. He started to weave through people as he led me down the streets

"Where are we going?" I asked as I followed him

"A jewelry store of course, it's customary to give her a ring, I even got one for Mito after the wedding" He explained as he stopped in front of a stand that had several pieces of jewelry behind it. I glanced around at all of them but frowned and turned to Hashirama

"I have no money" I said simply and he grinned as he moved to reach in his pocket

"I will not have you pay for it either, if I am going to buy her a ring then I will get money to do so" I said firmly and he nodded

"I am sure I can give you a S ranked mission that will give enough money to afford one of these" He said excitedly and I nodded my head and followed him towards the big red tower

"Uncle Hashi, Madara!!" I heard a familiar yell and I turned around to see Ami hunch over to catch her breath

"Perfect I need both of you" she said as she grabbed hold of both of our hands and dragged us back down the street. I smiled slightly at the familiar feeling of being dragged around by this girl and I let out a little laugh

"What's so funny?" she asked glancing back at me

"Nothing, this just seems so familiar" I said and a wide smile spread across her face

"I thought you said you were going to be gone two days" I said as we turned a corner

"Well I wanted to give myself shopping time" she said stopping in front of a large weaponry store. We walked in and she immediately went to the back wall that held several swords and tanto's

"Sooo I was going to get Masura this tanto" she said, picking up a tanto that had a black sheath and handle

"But this looks nice too" She said picking up a sword with the same coloring as the tanto

"I prefer swords" I said as I picked it up from her hand and pulled the blade from its sheath to feel the weight of it

"The tanto will be easier for him to wield at his age though" I added as I sheathed it again and looked at the tanto.

"That's what I was thinking too but he is growing sooo fast" She said quickly

"Well he has many more birthdays to celebrate, get him the sword next year" Hashirama offered and she grinned

"Good idea" She said excitedly as she snatched up the tanto and walked towards the counter

"I thought you needed money from your mission to get this" Hashirama said and she giggled

"I did, but you weren't there so Tobirama paid us" She said as she pulled out her wallet

"Tobirama's in the office?" He asked and I sighed slightly at the thought of him being the leader of the village

"Shouldn't you know?" I asked and he grinned, scratching the back of his head

"Probably" He said simply as we started to walk back out of the store

"So what were you two up to?" She asked us

"We were on our way to get Madara his first mission since he has been back" Hashirama said excitedly and I felt as though he was talking about a child

"Why so soon?" She asked, slowing her pace slightly and looking at me

"I need money to get.." I started but Hashirama nudged my side

"Don't tell her she is terrible at keeping secrets especially from Naria" He said quietly and Ami narrowed her eyes

"Am not.. Plus why are you keeping secrets?" She asked quickly

"You will find out soon.. We got to go" Hashirama said quickly moving towards the tower

"I should be home soon" I said before swiftly going off after him. I felt an uneasy feeling in my stomach and knew I would have to explain when I got back. As soon as we opened the door Tobirama stood from the Hokage chair

"What have I told you about leaving the office without someone to stand in for you elder brother, you were lucky I came to deliver documents there were people lined up to deliver mission reports" He said and Hashirama frantically moved to his desk and searched through the papers

"Sorry Tobirama it slipped my mind" he said and Tobirama rolled his eyes then glanced over at me. I expected him to throw an insult at me or say something about me leaving the village but instead he smiled slightly

"I'm glad you are back in the village, Naria already seems happier" He said and I didn't respond immediately from surprise

"I just regret leaving in the first place" I said and he nodded

"Guess what Tobirama?" Hashirama said excitedly and I sighed

"They are getting married" He said, jumping on his toes with a wide grin on his face

"Are you really?" Tobirama asked and I nodded

"That will make her happy, how did you ask her?" He asked curiously and I rolled my eyes at Hashirama as he stepped forward

"That is the problem, he didn't do it well.. I am going to send him on a mission so he can get her a ring" He said and I frowned

"Hey I did it just fine! The goal is for the woman to agree and she did, I don't know why this is such a big deal" I growled and Tobirama gave me a somewhat sympathetic look

"Well ask yourself this" Hashirama started and I raised my eyebrows at him as he stepped closer to me

"Does Naria deserve it" He said and I sighed

"Your right, I did put her through a lot" I mumbled and Hashirama grinned as he walked back to the desk

"So what do I have to do?" I asked as I walked forward

"Here, I will have you deliver this scroll to the Hidden Sand village" he said and I frowned

"Do you have anything better than that?" I asked and he glanced down the scroll

"I just got word of a rouge shinobi from the Hidden Mist Village, you could track him down" He said and I nodded

"I would prefer that one" I said and he smiled, handing me a scroll with information on it

"I doubt it will take you too long" He said

"Within three days" I said glancing down the document

"Good to here, leave whenever you are ready" He said and I nodded and turned to the door

"Oh Madara" He called and I turned around and quickly caught what he had thrown at me, I looked down at the forehead protector

"Do I have to wear this?" I asked quickly as I looked into Hashirama's grinning face

"Yes" He said and I sighed again as I walked out the door. I made my way back to the house and when I opened the door I immediately smelled food cooking

"Hey" Naria said, peeking her head out the kitchen door. I smiled slightly as I walked over to her and pressed a kiss to the side of her head

"Hey" I mumbled back and she smiled

"I heard you are keeping secrets from me, are you and Hashi scheming something?" she asked but her voice was light as though this news didn't faze her at all

"Is that what Ami said?" I asked and she nodded

"But you aren't worried?" I asked confusedly

"Do I need to be?" She countered and I smiled slightly

"Not at all" I said, wrapping my arms around her shoulders

"Then I trust you" She said, hugging me back

"So what did Hashirama want?" She asked, breaking away to check on the food

"To catch up, show me a bit of the village.. He is sending me on a mission" I said and she glanced back at me

"What rank?" she asked quickly

"S-rank, just a rouge shinobi" I said, leaning against the counter. She frowned and turned to look back at the food and I pushed off the counter to wrap my arms around her again

"Why are you upset?" I asked, worried that she believed I would just leave again

"Just be safe" She said and I had to stop myself from laughing outright

"Come now Naria, I am stronger than I was before I left.. I even got the nine tails to do what I wanted, I can handle a rouge shinobi" I said, leaning my head onto her shoulder

"Your cockiness is going to get you in trouble one day" she said and I chuckled

"Not a chance" I said and I saw a smile twitch at her lips out of the corner of my eye

"Go ahead and get ready to go I will pack you a bento box" she said and I leaned in to kiss her cheek

"Thank you" I said as I backed away but she snatched my wrist and twisted so she could see what was in my hand.

"Ohh whats this" She said and I could hear the amusement in her voice as she took the headband from my hand.

"I'm not going to wear it" I said adamantly but she ignored my statement as she lifted it under my bangs and tied it around the back of my head. She immediately stuck out her lip and flicked a few strands of my hair to the side and I couldn't help but chuckle

"You can't even the symbol" she said pouty and I smiled as I reached my hands up and untied it and instead hung it across my belt

"Is this okay?" I asked and she smiled widely

"It will do" She said and I smiled, pressing a kiss to her forehead. Once I was changed and had my pouches attached to my belt I went back downstairs to get the box of food. Ami and Masura were sitting at the table already but Naria was standing by the counter. As soon as she saw me she brought me the box and leaned up to give me a kiss on the cheek

"Be safe" She said, looking up at me through her long eyelashes

"Of course" I said and she smiled

"When will u be back?" Ami asked and I could sense the tension coming from her

"Within three days" I said and she nodded her head

"Bye dad! Kick that rouge shinobi's butt" Masura said, standing on his chair and looking at me with a grin. I couldn't help but smile back at him as I wrapped him up in my arms

"Will do" I whispered giving him a pat on the head as I let go. I walked around to Ami and gave her a kiss right between her pony tails seeing as she made no move to stand up

"See you soon Ami" I said lightly as I walked to the door.

Naria's Pov:

(Time skip 3 days)

I was getting ready for bed when I heard voices downstairs, I followed the sound and saw Masura and Ami sitting at the table.

"Hey I just put you to bed" I said in a slightly whiney voice and Masura slouched down in his chair

"Sorry mom" He said quickly as I took a seat across from Ami

"What's up with you two?" I asked, looking between the two children. Ami looked disgruntled while Masura just looked a bit confused

"Madara said within three days" She said and I let out a sigh

"Ami you know missions like that all depend on how long it takes to track down the target" I said and she frowned and looked at the wall

"Why don't we just go sit by the gate and wait, he will be back" Masura said excitedly

"You just want a reason to stay up late" Ami said and I chuckled

"That's a great idea, go put on a jacket Masura" I said, getting up from my chair and ushering him upstairs

"It's stupid to go and wait, we have spent too long waiting out there by that gate for him" Ami growled but I smiled

"Do it for Masura then, he is excited about it" I said and she grunted as she got up. I went upstairs to change into a jacket as well and once everyone had their shoes on we walked to the gate. Once we got there I sat down with my back against the wood and Masura happily settled in my lap. Ami leaned up against the wall as we waited, looking out into the darkness of the woods outside the village. After about an hour Masura fell asleep and another half an hour Ami let out an annoyed sound

"Masura is asleep and we came out here for him, let's just go home" She growled and I smiled, sensing Madara's chakra nearing

"No we came out here for you, you needed this" I said as I pushed myself to my feet, careful not to wake Masura

"What? To wait out here and freeze my ass off like I did all the time when I was little" She snapped and I just smiled seeing her quickly turn her head to the forest.

"Well the odds of him coming back are more in our favor this time" I said with a chuckle as she quickly darted off.

Madara's Pov:

I was nearing the village when I heard a twig snap near me, I quickly activated my Sharingan and looked around and had just enough time to open my arms for Ami as she ran towards me. I had to back up a few steps from the force of her embrace and I enveloped her in my arms tightly

"What's wrong? Did something happen?" I asked quickly, worried that something had happened to Naria or Masura but she shook her head against my chest. I let out a little breath of relief and rubbed her back soothingly and set my chin on her head

"Are you alright?" I asked after a moment and she nodded

"I was just worried you wouldn't come back" She muffled against my robes and I frowned as I hugged her tighter

"I told you I wouldn't leave again and I meant it" I whispered and she let out a little laugh as she pulled away from me

"I know.." She said as she rubbed her eyes under her glasses. I leaned down to press my lips to her forehead and I wrapped my arm around her shoulders as I started to walk back to the village. Once the gate was within view I smiled seeing Naria leaning against them. She walked over to us and gave me a kiss that made me smile

"I was only gone for three days, you guys didn't need to worry so much" I said and she smiled up at me

"I wasn't, she was" she said nodding to Ami who still had her arm wrapped around my waist

"I see" I said pulling Ami into my side a bit more.

"We should get home, poor guy has been asleep for awhile" Naria said with a chuckle as she started to walk towards the house. Once we got there I let go of Ami

"I am just going to go give Hashirama my report" I said and they both nodded and walked inside while I turned to the red tower
