I woke up to something heavy shaking my shoulders and frowned slightly as I opened my only to see my room was still fairly dark

"Nariaaa" Hashirama whined and I sighed

"What?" I asked, raising one hand to rub my eye

"The Uzumaki clan agreed to let me see my wife-to-be before the wedding, but I have to go to them" He said and I smiled

"See I told you it would work" I muttered as I rolled over to try to go back to sleep

"You are going to come with me" he said and I smiled, keeping my eyes closed

"Cool Hashirama, I can't wait" I muttered but I sighed when I felt him shake me again

"We are leaving in an hour" He added and my eyes snapped open

"I don't know why I expected any more time to prepare myself" I muttered looking into his dark excited eyes

"Okay fine fine, I'm up and I will be ready" I said as I swung my legs over the bed. He cheered excitedly before jumping straight back out my window

"Ughh" I sighed as I rubbed my temples and wandered to my bathroom to take a quick shower. When I was done I changed into some sweats and black shirt, then I threw some extra clothes in my heavily worn out backpack and slung it over one shoulder as I walked down the hall to Ami's room. I shook her awake and she groaned

"I know I don't want to be awake either sweetie, but you gotta get up" I said and she groaned again and attempted to throw a pillow at me

"Hashirama just told me we are going on a mission and it will probably be a few days so pack up a bag to go to uncle Tobirama's" I said and she groaned as she sat up

"If I get up right now I want to stay with Madara" She said poutily and I sighed

"I don't think it would be the best idea.. Baby sitting you might not be in his comfort zone" I said and she crossed her arms

"We could at least ask" She said and I sighed

"Fine we will ask but pack your bag and get ready quickly please" I muttered and mentally cursed at her request.. We had left on a good note last night.. What if this just made things weird.. But I was too tired and annoyed to do anything other than agree. I wandered downstairs and grabbed a few quick snacks and tossed them in my bag before closing it and going to the door to pull on my sandals

"What time is it anyways?" Ami asked and I peeked out the window with a sigh

"Like three" I muttered and she let out a loud groan

"I know...At least you can just go back to sleep" I muttered as she pulled on her sandals.

"Let's go" I said as I opened the door and tugged her out with me. Halfway there she made a whining noise and raised her arms to me, I sighed and picked her up to carry her the rest of the way. It was only when I got to his house that I realized that I would probably be waking up and I sighed slightly as I raised my hand to knock on the wooden door. Before my knuckles could make contact, the door opened and Madara stood there with a sleepy look on his face. I had to quickly stop myself from accidentally hitting him and let my hand fall to my side with a small swing

"Are you a sensor?" I asked, my curiosity getting the better of me and he nodded

"Huh" I hummed and he raised an eyebrow in amusement

"Oh I'm sorry for waking you up but Ami insisted that I ask you first" I muttered and he looked questioningly at the now sleeping form of Ami hanging over my shoulder

"Hashirama just woke me up to go on a mission with him and we leave innnn fifteen minutes.." I said quietly

"Do you think you could watch Ami? If not it's really not a problem, Tobirama would do it, she just wanted me to ask you first" I said awkwardly as he yawned

"Sure, I don't mind" He said and smiled at him thankfully

"Thank you so much Madara, I am sorry again that it's so early" I said but he raised his hand dismissively before carefully taking Ami from me

"I should be back in a few days and if she starts to bug you or anything just hand her off to Tobirama" I said and he smiled slightly

"I am sure it will be fine, the Uzumaki clan resides in the land of Eddies right?" He asked curiously and I nodded

"Do you have heavier clothing to wear?" He asked and I thought for a moment

"No.. why is it cold there?" I asked and he nodded and ushered me into his house

"I haven't been but my father went at some point in time and one of the things he mentioned was how cold it got at night" He said as he gently laid Ami on the couch

"One moment" he said as he disappeared up the stairs. I looked around and noticed their house was built similarly to mine and Ami's except it didn't have the big window in the front and large kitchen that Ami had specifically requested for our house. Madara came back down with a black cloak that looked surprisingly cozy

"Here" He said handing it to me and I smiled

"Thank you, I don't have a lot of winter clothes" I said thinking of the thin black turtlenecks that I wore under my armor.. They were better at letting sweat out then keeping heat in.

"Not a problem" He said simply

"I better go before Hashirama throws a fit.. Thank you for everything I am sure Ami will have a blast here" I said, clutching the cloak to my chest as he smiled down at me, his eyes crinkling slightly

"I am sure we will" He said as he opened the door for me. I gave him a quick wave before darting off to where the front gate was being built.

"There you are! You normally are quicker than me" Hashirama commented as I ran up, carefully laying the cloke in my bag before throwing it back over my shoulder

"Well I had to get Ami ready too" I said and Hashirama got a confused look

"She wanted to stay with Madara" I said and his mouth fell into an almost perfect O shape

"And Madara agreed?" He asked curiously and I nodded

"Yeah he seemed kind of excited about it too" I said and he grinned

"It is so nice to see my best friends getting along so well" he said giving me a big hug

"Can..t breathhhh" I choked out and he quickly let go

"Sorry sorry, let's get going! We are going to go meet my future wife" He said cheerily as he took off into the trees. I giggled slightly as I quickly followed him then fell into step with his long strides.

(time skip two and a half days)

We finally were getting on a boat to take us to the island and I was a little off put with how nervous Hashirama seemed. When we got on the boat and the men started to take us to the land of Eddies I walked up with Hashirama to the front of the boat and smiled seeing how beautifully blue the water was.

"Why are you nervous?" I asked glancing over at Hashirama

"I feel as though I do not fit with a lot of women's tastes" He said and I frowned

"That's not true at all, you are a very lovable person Hashi" I said

"I thought women enjoy more calm and collective men.. Like Tobirama" He said and I thought for a moment

"Not all women, we all have different tastes" I started and he smiled slightly

"Plus you bring a lot of excitement and energy to everything you do and I think that is a desirable trait, I like when people are passionate about something" I said as the wind whipped through our hair

"I guess that is true" He said and I smiled. A shiver rippled through my body so I pulled off my pack and pulled out the nice black cloak and threw it over my shoulders.

"Is that Madara's?" Hashirama asked almost immediately and I raised an eyebrow

"How did you know?" I asked curiously and he laughed

"It has the Uchiha crest on the back" he said simply and I looked over my shoulder to see he was right

"Huh, oh well it's warm" I said, tugging the fabric closer around my shoulders

"You two are getting close huh?" He said teasingly as he nudged me with his elbow. I couldn't help the blush that overcame my cheeks.

"So do you like him?" He asked curiously and I smiled

"Yeah" I said barely above a whisper and I heard Hashirama boom with laughter. I buried myself deeper in the fabric and realized it smelled absolutely wonderful.

"Have you done anything about it other than let him babysit Ami and take his clothing?" he asked curiously and my blush deepened, basically answering his question for me.

"Uuu what happened?" He asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity

"Well..when we were sparring the other day he pinned me and I got curious about what a Sharingan really looks like up close" I said and he nodded understandably

"So anyways he showed me then sucked me into a genjutsu and we kissed then when I opened my eyes we were back in the normal world and Ami was hovering over me looking worried about me getting caught in a genjutsu" I explained and he got a grin

"That sounds like something Madara would do" He said lightly and I giggled

"We are five minutes from the Island" Someone yelled and I saw Hashirama's grin falter slightly

"Hey, no matter what be yourself and if she doesn't like it then it's her problem not yours okay?" I asked as I gave him a hug

"Yeah okay" he hummed as he hugged me back. Soon enough our boat arrived and we jumped off onto the grass

"Welcome Hokage" An elder man immediately greeted, bowing his head politely. Hashirama and I both did the same and I smiled at the man

"I am Ashina Uzumaki" He said professionally

"Nice to meet you, this is my sister Naria, I thank you for letting us come meet you on such short notice" Hashirama said and I smiled a little wider with Hashirama introducing me as his sister.

"It is nice to have you, come this way we have a lovely dinner prepared" He said as he turned on his heel, I smiled up to Hashirama who grinned back as we followed the man. It didn't take long to reach a beautiful, large wooden home that looked like it was at least forty years old. When we went in there were significantly less people than I thought there would be around but when the man led us into the dining room there were three other women sitting at the table. They all stood up when we got in the room and I couldn't help but smile seeing Hashirama's eyes light up seeing the woman who was closest to our age.

"This is my wife Mitsuki" He said referring to the older woman sitting towards the head of the table with grey hair that was tied tightly back in a bun.

"My daughter Mia" he said gesturing to the middle aged woman with long, straight red hair that laid over her shoulders perfectly

"And my granddaughter Mito" he finished and the girl our age with her red hair tied into two tight buns bowed her head slightly at us.

"It's an honor to meet you all" Hashirama said as he took the seat across from Mito and I took the one across from Mia

"Who is this?" Mitsuki asked glancing at me and I smiled

"I'm Hashirama's sister, Naria" I said and she smiled

"Oh I should have guessed, you two look so alike" She said and I laughed slightly. The dinner went by smoothly and I was happy to see how kind everyone was to both Hashirama and I. Mito seemed a little wary of Hashirama's upbeat attitude but I don't think she particularly minded.. He was just different from how her family was. By the end of the night we were shown to a nice room with two massive beds and told that breakfast would be at about nine.

"See it wasn't that bad was it?" I asked and Hashirama grinned widely

"You were right, she is so beautiful Naria! I don't know why I was worried" He said excitedly jumping on his toes

"Yeah she is" I said with a giggle as Hashirama fell back on his bed with his arms outstretched

"It's a shame we have to leave tomorrow, such a long trip for only a day visiting" he said and I shrugged

"Soon enough you two will be married and she will be living with you so it's not too bad" I said and he grinned wider

"That's true" he said and quickly sat up

"Isn't that a crazy thought? I am getting married" He said and I laughed

"I told you awhile ago that you would get married and be all happy, you can have kids of your own and build a little family" I said and he got sparkles in his eyes

"Now we just have to get someone for Tobirama" he said and I laughed as I looked through my bag

"One boy at a time, we can find someone for Tobirama later" I said as I pulled out a change of clothes

"I am going to take a much needed shower" I said pointing to the bathroom and he nodded. By the time I was done and ready for bed Hashirama was fast asleep, sprawled out on his bed. I gently picked up Madara's cloke in my hand and enjoyed the feeling of the soft fabric in my hands. I smiled to myself as I curled up in bed and laid a bit of the cloak over the pillow and inhaled Madara's sent. It smelled like maple, a camp fire and something else that I couldn't pin point but it reminded me of something sweet. I quickly fell asleep with my face buried in the cloak, enjoying the scent that surrounded me

I woke up with a start when I heard a familiar boom of laughter

"Kami Hashirama, you are so loud" I muttered as I buried my face deeper into the sweet fabric

"And I have never seen you so infatuated" He said and I felt the fabric being tugged from under me. I made a whining noise and Hashirama laughed again

"How terrible would it be if you returned it with drool all over it" he said and I quickly sat up and snatched the cloak from him, suddenly wide awake

"Do I drool?" I questioned quickly as I looked over the cloak

"No, just wanted to see how quick you would check" he said with a laugh as he gathered up some of his clothes

"You are the worst, best friend ever" I muttered as he walked over to the bathroom

"Love you too Naria" He said sweetly and I growled at him as he closed the door. Just for good measure I checked the cloak for anything weird and debated if I really wanted to risk getting it dirty by wearing it again.. Suddenly I found myself caring more about the cleanliness of this cloak than anything else and I sighed

"Jeez I am so weird" I muttered as I quickly changed and threw the cloak over my shoulders. By the time I was done Hashirama came out, brushing out his long brown hair.

"Want me to braid it for you?" I teased and he chuckled

"I will have to say no.. but thanks for the offer" he said as he went over and got together the rest of his stuff.

"So breakfast then we have to head home?" I asked and he nodded. I grabbed my bag and we made our way downstairs, following the enticing smells wafting up the stairs

"Good morning" Mito said bowing her head and I smiled

"Good morning" I said cheerily as I hung my bag over one of the chairs

"Is that the Uchiha clan symbol?" She asked curiously as she walked behind me and I nodded

"Yeah, a friend let me borrow his cloak" I said and she smiled

"It is good to hear you are forming friendships between your clans" She said lightly as she took a seat across from us. Just then the door opened and the others filed in and sat in the same places as yesterday.

"It is a shame you have to leave so soon, but I was so grateful that you wanted to meet my granddaughter before the wedding" Ashina said around a bite of food

"I wish we could stay longer as well but I have business to attend too and Naria doesn't like being away from her daughter too long" Hashirama said and I smiled

"Oh you have a daughter? How old?" Mitsuki said

"She is about six and a half now" I said and she smiled along with Mito

"That is such a wonderful age, they are so interested in the world" She said reminiscently and I laughed slightly

"Ami grew up a little too fast because of the war, she acts much older than she actually is but she is smart enough to pull it off" I said and Hashirama chuckled

"Yeah I have never seen a child learn so much so easily, she is able to perform jutsu that took me years to figure out myself.. She is really an impressive girl" Hashirama commented and I saw a sparkle in Mito's eye when Hashirama talked about Ami

"Do you like kids?" I asked curiously and she smiled

"I adore children, your daughter sounds lovely" She said firmly and I grinned

"She can be at times" I said with a little laugh and she joined in. The rest of breakfast went by fast and by the time it was about ten we were escorted back to the boat and I quickly bored while Hashirama spoke to Mito alone.. I did see her give him a kiss on the cheek before they parted though. When Hashirama jumped onto the boat next to me he had a stupid grin on his face that made me laugh

"Aw Hashirama it's so cute to see you so in love" I said and he just giggled girlishly, still in somewhat of a stupor.

(Time skip two days)

Having some alone time with Hashirama was fun, I hadn't been able to hang out with him one on one and just enjoy ourselves in years.. Normally Tobirama was around or more recently Ami but it was nice to have just some stupid, goofy fun. We were about a half days journey from home when there was a sudden spike in chakra nearby. I naturally moved closer to Hashirama and gave him a sideways glance as I carefully set down my bag and pulled out a kunai. There was a sudden whizz in the air and we both turned around quickly. Hashirama easily caught the kunai that was heading towards us by the handle and he glanced around to see who was attacking.

"Senju and Uchiha work together in harmony? How well will that work out when an Uchiha and the Hokage kill each other" a voice from the shadow said and I raised an eyebrow in confusion

"Cloak" Hashirama said and I let out a little breath

"Oh yeah" I said quietly but I shrugged

"Not an Uchiha, just wearing an Uchiha's cloak" I said as I hurled my kunai into the trees nearby. I smiled in satisfaction when I heard a surprised grunt then a squelching sound, then finally the sound of a body hitting the ground. Immediately several kunai came whizzing at us and Hashirama easily built a dome to protect us from the barrage while I kneeled down and felt the earth for footsteps. Three of them I could sense easily but the others were far up in the trees and harder to sense from my position. I quickly wrapped vines and grass around the three I could and when we heard sounds of confusion Hashirama lowered the dome and I threw three kunai hitting each dead center in the forehead

"We really don't want to harm anyone else" Hashirama said in a flat tone, keeping his guard up

"You think you can take all of us!?" The voice said and suddenly there was a massive surge in chakra around us and I sensed nearly thirty men surround us

"Shit.." I muttered as I moved to stand back to back with Hashirama

"What do you want to do?!" I asked worriedly

"You have been the one complaining about not having a good fight" he said and I frowned

"Thats a lot of people for the two of us" I said and I felt his muscles tense as he shrugged

"If you need help call out" he said and I hummed in acknowledgement as I made quick hand signs and shot fire from my mouth in the hopes of illuminating the dark area. Unfortunately with the illumination I could see all the men baring down on us..

"Hagoromo.." I whispered to myself when I saw the familiar symbol on their shoulder plates, I only had a minute to register that information before a wave of water created by several of the men shot towards me
