《Madara x Oc》Chapter 5

(Time skip about a week)
I was wearing a pair of pajamas and making breakfast when Ami came storming down the stairs
"Morning mom I am going to go hang out with Uncle Hashi and Tobi!" She called as she darted past but I quickly grabbed her wrist
"Eat breakfast first" I muttered as I set it on the table
"But mommmm I'm not hungry" She whined and I rolled my eyes
"When has that ever stopped you from eating breakfast, it's important" I said as I grabbed my own plate. She quickly ate all the food and offered me a wave before darting out the door. I let out a little sigh and continued eating my breakfast slowly before cleaning up our dishes and meandering upstairs for a shower. When I got out I wrapped my chest and pulled on a pair of black spandex shorts before starting to clean the house. I started with my room and Ami's surprisingly dirty room then I started working downstairs. Normally when Ami said she was going out to hang out with Hashirama and Tobirama it was only a few hours because of their busy schedules so I was surprised when It was four and she still wasn't back. I was about to go throw on some clothes and look for them but the front door creaked open and I immediately felt blush coat my cheeks seeing a familiar Uchiha whose hand was being tightly gripped by Ami.
Madara's Pov:
I was walking out of my house when I felt a familiar chakra rocket towards me. I quickly turned around to see a excited looking Ami bouncing up and down on her toes.
"Morning Ami, where you looking for me?" I asked, curious as to why she would be around the Uchiha houses
"Yes!" She said excitedly and I couldn't help but smile looking at the happy girl
"How can I help you?" I asked, kneeling down to her height
"Can you teach me more fire jutsu?" She asked pleadingly and I raised my eyebrows
"Didn't you say your mom could use fire? Why don't you have her teach you?" I asked, I didn't mind teaching her I was just curious as to why she chose me
"She teaches me everythingg, I like learning from new people" She said and I nodded
"Alright then, but you have to show me one of your jutsu too" I said and a grin spread across her face that could have rivaled Hashirama's. I honestly loved children, their innocence and ability to learn always amazed me. Ami reminded me of a younger Hashirama and she had the strength to rival even myself when I was her age. The door behind me opened again and Izuna blearily walked out, stretching his arms above his head
"Hey elder brother did you make breakfast?" He asked, his eyes still shut
"Yes.. for myself.." I said with a little smile as I watched him open his eyes and pout slightly. His eyes traveled to Ami and he looked rather surprised to see her.
"Hi Izuna!" She said cheerily and I actually saw him lean back in surprise at her strong voice.
"Hello, I'm sorry I forgot your name" He said and she only smiled wider
"Ami, but that is totally understandable, you were very injured and low on blood last we met" She said and he raised his eyebrows slightly
"Thank you for saving me.. Is your sister around?" He asked and I chuckled
"Mother" I muttered and his surprise only grew

"Oh.." He said
"No she is probably cleaning or cooking or something boring" She said and I chuckled again
"You should speak of your parents with more respect" Izuna said and she shrugged
"Parent" She clarified
"Plus she knows I love her, she is the best person ever... she just does boring stuff sometimes" She clarified and I smiled
"Anyways we are going to train, make your own breakfast Izuna" I said as I patted his shoulder
"Fine.." He muttered as he waved and turned back around to go into his house.
"How fast are you?" I asked and her eyes lit up
"Pretty fast" She said excitedly and I smiled
"Race you to the training grounds?" I asked and she nodded and turned her body to face the grounds. I tossed a rock in the air and when it hit the ground we both took off. She was definitely fast for her age, but my strides were longer and my chakra was stronger than hers. I kept my chakra low and stayed even with her as she sped through the trees to the training grounds. When she got there she turned to me with a slight pout
"I know you slowed down, all of you adults are faster than me" She said and I smiled
"When you grow up you might rival Tobirama" I said and even though I wanted to vomit giving that man a compliment, I knew it would make her smile. I was right when she closed her eyes and tilted her head to the side with a smile, her hair bobbing with the movement. I got a weird flashback of her mother doing that same smile when we were by the river and had to shake my head slightly to clear the image away.
"Okay so next jutsu" I said as I thought of other fire jutsu to teach her, a small smile spread across my face when I thought of a jutsu I had come up with years ago.
"I think you will enjoy this one, I call it Dragon Flame Caterwaul" I said and I saw her grin
"This one is more about chakra control then the signs, you need to compress chakra within your chest into individual parts then force it through your mouth" I explained and she nodded watching me carefully. I made the sign for tiger and opened my mouth shooting out four dragon head shaped fireballs towards the trees.
"You can make them as big or small as you want but I don't really want to destroy the area you and your mother worked so hard on" I said and she grinned
"It's okay I can grow them back" she said glancing at the trees now on fire.
"Okay okay" She said absently as she closed her eyes. I stood slightly back from her, ready to catch her incase it blew up in her face and she was propelled back. She opened her eyes and mouth at the same moment and instantly she was shot back but not because it blew up in her face, because the force of her jutsu was so strong. I caught her and watched as one large dragon head shot towards the trees that were already on fire.
"I'm impressed I thought it would take longer for you" I said as the flames surrounding the trees grew
"I didn't get it into small balls though.. Hold on I will get it" She said as she pushed away from me and closed her eyes again
"You should try not to practice a jutsu with your eyes closed, closing your eyes on the battlefield can be a deadly mistake" I said and she nodded

"Yeah I almost did that one time.. Mom had to step in" She said absently as she squinted her eyes in focus. I smiled slightly as she tried the jutsu again but it was still one ball. I took a seat and watched her as she tried again and again. About an hour and a half later, four precise balls of fire shot from her mouth in the shape of dragons heads.
"That is so cool" She cheered and I stiffened slightly as she wrapped her small arms around my neck and flopped slightly against my chest panting slightly. It took me a moment to register the hug because it had been so long since I had either received or given one.. Izuna and I were not physically affectionate people and I had become accomplished in dodging any form of hug Hashirama tired to entrap me in. When I had finally processed the hug I wrapped one arm around her small form and held her up slightly.
"I think we should get you home, you can show me one of your jutsu another time" I said and she sighed
"Fine, but that just means you have to come train with me again" she said cheerily as she pulled away from me. I smiled and got to my feet, dusting off my robes slightly then remembered I didn't really know where she lived, I figured it must be close to where Hashirama and Tobirama stayed but it would be bad if I walked to the wrong house. She seemed to catch on to what I was thinking because she laughed and grabbed hold of my hand in her surprisingly firm grip and dragged me off towards the center of the village. I easily kept pace with her but it felt weird to have someone dragging me around.. Not necessarily bad.. Just odd. She stopped in front of a nice wooden door and I raised my hand to knock but she just gave me a weird look
"You don't have to knock.. I live here" she said as she turned the knob to walk in. When I looked around the house was absolutely pristinely clean and the wood floor almost glistened. My eyes were caught by something completely different though.. Naria was standing at the doorway to the kitchen wearing just a wrapping around her chest and almost unnecessarily tight black shorts. She was a lot bustier than I thought and she wasn't necessarily lacking in other areas either. Her stomach was flat and well toned from years of training and fighting and her thighs looked as though she could crush a weak man's bone easily. I blinked and quickly looked to the side to hopefully dispel the awkward thoughts running through my head and I was silently thankful I was wearing thick robes today.
"Uh.. hi Madara?" She half asked half greeted and for a moment I wondered if she even realized she was half naked but I was distracted by the sound of her voice.. Had it always sounded.. Alluring?..
Naria's Pov:
"Uh.. hi Madara?" I half asked but then I glared down at Ami
"I thought you said you were going to see Hashirama and Tobirama?!" I growled and her eyes widened in fear
"Wait before you get mad.. I learned a awesome jutsu" She said and I clenched my fists but quickly looked up to Madara
"Come in Madara.. I am sorry for my daughter.. It seems she has no respect for people's time" I muttered as I grabbed Ami by the arm and tugged her in
"Ami Senju I swear to the gods that if you lie to me again I won't even drag you to the training grounds to kick your ass, I will burn down this damn house and have Hashirama build us a new one!" I hissed in a dangerous voice as I tugged her over to the couch and kneeled down in front of her. Fear appeared in her eyes but it quickly vanished and was replaced by annoyance
"Why would I tell you? You would probably get mad that I was with Madara" She said and I furrowed my brows in confusion
"I don't give a damn if you hang out with Madara! I just need to know who's chakra I need to track down if you vanish, your chakra is not as easy to track as theirs" I growled and she pouted
"Fine!" She yelled throwing her hands up in the air before hopping off the couch and darting upstairs quickly. I let out a long breath and let my head fall forward onto the couch
"I apologize, she didn't tell me that she was supposed to be with Hashirama" Madara said and I almost jumped in surprise hearing his voice. I quickly got to my feet and turned around
"Oh please I should be apologizing, she normally tells me where she is going.." I said absently and I moved to play with the end of my shirt like I do when I'm nervous but found no fabric to tug at. I quickly looked down and felt my face heat up when I saw I was wearing nearly nothing.
"S-sorry.. I'll be right back" I said and I quickly ran up the stairs and to my room listening to Madara's light chuckle as I went. I threw on a shirt and sweats before going back downstairs with hopefully more composure than I just showed.
"Uh.. sorry.. I wasn't really expecting anyone and I was cleaning all day and it was warm" I muttered awkwardly, cursing myself for not having any more composure
"It's no problem" He said turning to face me from where he stood near my bookshelf
"Would you like some tea.. Or food.. Or anything?" I offered and I saw a small smile pull at his lips as I stumbled over what I wanted to say
"You really aren't good at talking are you?" He said almost jokingly and I pouted
"I am great at speaking thank you very much" I muttered but I had little conviction behind my voice
"Tea sounds nice" He said and I smiled and dipped into the kitchen and slammed my head against the cupboard to hopefully stop myself from being stupid.
"So how do you like living in peace?" Madara asked and I heard one of my chairs move against the floor and assumed he was taking a seat at the table
"It's.. different" I said as I put the tea on and turned to stand in the doorway
"It is good and I am happy that we no longer fight constantly.. But it's so weird" I said and he nodded, his dark black hair shifting as he moved
"I almost miss having something to do and someone to fight" He said and I smiled
"I'm sure Hashirama would still battle with you any day of the week" I said as the pot started to hiss.
"Yes I'm sure he would" He said as I pulled the water off and poured it into the teapot with leaves in it then poured it into two cups and carried them out to Madara.
"Thank you" He said as he took one of them and I took the other, taking the seat across from him. I hummed and took a sip
"So you are getting bored being cooped up? I thought you would keep busy, being the leader of your clan and co founder of the village" I said and he chuckled softly and for a moment I took in the sound and figured I would never get tired of hearing his laugh.. Maybe Ami is right... nahh
"Doing paperwork and planning is not the same as fighting.. battling is so simple and primal" He said and I nodded
"Very true, when I was pregnant with Ami and while she grew up I worked mainly as a medical ninja and all I could do was train with Hashirama and Tobirama, it was uncomfortable not fighting, it kind felt nice to go back into battle..even if that only lasted for a little bit" I said with a laugh
"If you can hold your own in a battle with Hashirama I would enjoy sparring with you sometime, we didn't really get to battle last time" He said and I smiled slightly
"I would enjoy that" I said lightly and I yelped when my door slammed open
"Nariaaa" Hashirama called in a borderline whining voice.
"What Hashirama, jeez there is such a thing as knocking" I muttered even though he was too distracted by Madara's presents to hear me
"What are you doing here?" he asked and Madara shrugged slightly
"I was training with Ami today" He said and Hashirama nodded, accepting his answer
"What is is Hashirama?" I asked half worried, half annoyed that my alone time with Madara had been disrupted
"Oh" He said, quickly striding across the room to take a spot next to Madara
"The Uzumaki clan has decided to join our village but they want something from me" He said in a whining voice and I nodded
"They want to marry me off" he said and I raised my eyebrows then chuckled and leaned back in my chair
"You and Tobirama thought it was soooo funny when I said you would get married one day but I was right" I muttered and he made another whining noise
"I don't see what the problem is, is she ugly or something?" I asked and he nearly knocked his chair over when he stood up, pressing his palms flat to the table
"That's the thing! I don't know.. And I won't know until she comes here for the wedding" He said and I let my mouth fall open in surprise
"Ohhh" I said and he nodded and sat back down
"Well you really wanted this alliance with the Uzumaki to be solidified, you should just do it" Madara said and I shrugged
"What if she doesn't like me?" Hashirama said sadly and I laughed
"Hashirama, you are handsome and funny and the leader of the village.. Of course she will like you.. And if she doesn't I will deal with her" I said and he smiled
"Really?" He said and I laughed slightly
"Promise, but you gotta make sure I don't fall into the clutches of some terrible guy later on" I said and I saw a glint in Madara's eyes that I didn't expect
"Like I would let that happen anyways" he said lightly as he stood to his feet
"I heard the women from the Uzumaki clan are beautiful so don't worry about that too much" I said and he grinned
"Also if you are still worried about it then you can request a meeting before hand and go to meet her in the village.." I said and he snapped his fingers
"Smart! I will write to them right away" he said
"See you two later" He said as he darted back out of the house.
"Man is like a tornado" I muttered as I got up and picked up some of the papers that had flown around the room by the door being shut so quickly
"It's interesting that they would request a marriage" Madara muttered and I shrugged when I straightened up
"It does create a healthy relationship between the two sides, maybe they will marry someone off to you, I am sure a lot of clans want a strong alliance with the Uchiha" I said absently
"I would never agree to such a thing" he said and I smiled slightly as I sat back down across from him
"What if it was some beautiful woman from the Hyuuga clan or I don't know another clan known for having strong dojutsu" I said absently swirling around my tea. I looked up when he made a odd grunting sound and I saw a slight look of disgust in his eyes
"I don't enjoy the idea of a woman being able to see through walls to watch me.. I don't even understand how people marry Uchiha, we can kill people simply with our eyes.. That seems like an odd thing to want in your house.." He said and I smiled
"Not too bad, you would know your family is protected at all times..especially if the man is as strong as you" I said and his eyebrows raised slightly
"Either way, I would require a special kind of woman who can.. Handle me" He said and almost awkwardly and I giggled
"Yes that is the true goal, to find someone who can 'handle you'" I said and for a moment I saw the faintest blush dust his cheeks but it quickly vanished
"Would you ever let yourself be married off for the good of your clan?" He asked curiously and I thought for a moment
"I don't see why I would be married off but if that happened.. I don't know. I need to make sure whatever man I marry is okay with Ami and, more importantly, that Ami likes him.. She is the top priority" I said and he smiled
"Speaking of, I am sorry again for her bothering you" I said and he raised his hand in dismissal
"Like I said earlier most of my days are filled with boring work with Hashirama, she is pleasant to be around.. I really don't mind" He said and I smlied
"She seems to have that effect on people" I said lightly
"I should go home, it is getting late" Madara said, glancing outside
"Yeah of course" I said getting up and clearing the tea from the table
"When are you able to spar?" He asked and I shrugged
"Whenever really, I don't have much to do at the moment" I said and he nodded
"Tomorrow afternoon?" He asked
"Sounds good, meet at training ground four" I said and he nodded and raised his hand as a goodbye before vanishing out the door.
"Told you!" Ami said and I turned to glare at the small girl
"You are the absolute worst little girl in the world" I muttered, glaring at her and she just stuck out her tongue
"You are just mad I realized it before you" She said and I frowned

Thanks for reading! 💙] No one ever knows the whole story. Deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, the fading town of Rallsburg stumbles upon an amazing discovery—magic itself. Faced with potentially world-shattering power, the people of Rallsburg keep the secret for themselves. Led by Rachel DuValle, a perpetually underestimated college student with grand ambitions, they seek to found a new society. The world beyond suspects nothing, but magic cannot stay hidden forever. A train arrives in Rallsburg carrying Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate. To him, magic could represent meaning for his life, an explanation for his empty existence. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever—or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series, focused on the modern world with a twist. New societies bud and grow, but the people who make them up are imperfect and flawed. The story includes elements of mystery, action, crime, interpersonal drama, relationships, philosophy, sociology, politics, and much more, all centered on the perspective characters driving the tale. This is the "Scraps Edition" of the story, where the chapters have been split up into bite-size chunks (roughly 1500-3000 words), for your convenience. The prose has been edited from its original form, with some improvements, but there are no content differences from the original. New chapters will be posted throughout each week starting on Friday and appearing on multiple days thereafter, depending on the length of the chapter. Content Warning (by request): This series delves into some topics and situations which may be upsetting for some readers. In American rating parlance, the narrative would be rated PG-13 (except for language), but some have noted the story can get pretty dark on occasion.
