Dark.. alone.. and now, it's cold..
Then suddenly, there was a red spark. A string.. reaching for him through the dark. It curled around him, breathing life in to him, making him warm, making him glow.
And then came the voice. Powerful. Authorative. Undeniable.
"Shift, my Omega."

Junghyun was on his knees, looking at the lifeless body of his son, when it started to change. He could hear the sounds of bone snapping, as it was normal for the first shift. It should be agonisingly painful, but of course, Jungkook wasn't making any sound.
It only took few second to complete the shift, the fastest Junghyun had ever seen a first timer do. And that was not the only first thing he saw though.
The Omegas are naturally light coloured wolves. Lighter shades of gray, brown, silver, beige etc. But this was the first time he saw a pure white wolf. A wolf white as snow.
But that whiteness was now being tainted by the red, as the wolf started to slowly bleed from the wound in his neck.
The wound is fatal for a human, but not for a werewolf. Specially a one who is bonded with a powerful alpha.
V lowered his face and breathed on to the white wolf.
"" JK's feeble voice reached V and Taehyung's mind, confirming them of the fully formed two way mind link.
"" V answered in a proud voice.
His Omega must be the prettiest werewolf to walk on earth, ever.
""
""
""
""
JK looked in to his mind, searching for the presence of his human. His friend.
"" JK's answer made both V and Taehyung sigh in relief. "
Taehyung's gratitude spread to JK's mind like a warm ray of sunshine.
""
That was all JK heard, before he fell in to a deep sleep. He wasn't feeling tired or weak anymore. The red glow was still covering him, providing him with strength and warmth.

He was finally safe.

Cedarwood. The air was thick with that familiar scent. And Jungkook knew that he was safe, before even opening his eyes.
His neck didn't hurt anymore, nor did he had that compelling voice in his head. The voice that kept on urging him to hurt his father. The voice that he couldn't disobey, no matter how hard he tried.
He saw and heard everything, he was there. He watched as his own hand holding the knife, and later the gun that was pointed at his father. He knew what he was doing, just couldn't stop it.
How peaceful it is without the voice.
"" Another voice in his head, cautiously made it's presences know. ""
The relief that he felt for his wolf's presence stayed in his mind for only few seconds. Until he understood what JK was saying.
Taehyung.. Jungkook tried to force the eyelids to open. Taehyung is important, even if nothing else was.
Jungkook could feel JK scoffing at that. But he couldn't care less about it right now.
The first thing he noticed was the bright light. And the familiar white walls. He was at the local doctor's place. He pushed that thought aside and looked at the man sitting on the chair next to his bed, their hands already intertwined.
The words refused to go beyond his throat but Jungkook pushed them out. "H-hyungie.."
"Hey.." Taehyung's voice was soft like a feather. "How are you feeling?"
"T-thirsty."
Taehyung quickly got up and poured water from the jug to the glass on the bedside table. Jungkook tried to sit on the bed but he was still rather weak so Taehyung had to help him. The elder then sat behind Jungkook, made the younger lean on his chest, while holding the glass to his mouth.

"T-thank you." Jungkook whispered after he emptied about half of the glass, sinking even more in to Taehyung's chest.
"You're welcome, baby."
They sat in silence like that for few minutes. Taehyung gently ran his fingers through Jungkook's soft hair while the younger was deep in thoughts.
"Hyungie.."
"Hmm..?"
"Is dad angry with me?"
Taehyung tightened the hold on Jungkook's body a little more. "Koo, how much do you remember from what happened?"
"Everything. I knew what I was doing but couldn't stop myself. I remember everything until.."
"Until?"
"Until you bit me."
Jungkook raised his hand to the side of his neck and felt the slight bump on his skin. He gently ran his finger along it. It was huge.
"Sorry." Taehyung's voice was apologetic. "It'll leave a huge scar."
Jungkook smiled softly. "It's your claim mark. I'll wear it with pride."
"It's actually V's."
Taehyung chuckled and gave a soft kiss to Jungkook's head when the latter let out a whine at that.
"I don't think anyone will have a huge mark like this. Ever. I feel special."
"You are special. You shifted, you know."
"Oh.. I did?"
"Yeah. And I don't think anyone has ever seen a prettier wolf."
Jungkook blushed a bit as he hid his face on Taehyung's chest. "I think you might be little biased Hyungie."
"I'm not. JK is pure white, Koo. As white as snow."
"Wow!"
"Yeah, wow!"
Jungkook ran his finger along the bite mark again. "It's fully healed. How long was I in here?"
"About two days."
Taehyung could sense Jungkook's frown, even without actually seeing his face. "Everyone must have been so worried."
"Yeah, they were. Even the hyungs are here. Auntie and Uncle are outside right now. Well, auntie never left actually. They are just giving us a moment to get used to it."
"Huh?" Jungkook twisted his neck a bit to look at Taehyung. "Get used to what?"
"This."
Jungkook gasped at the mental voice that rang through his mind. He looked at Taehyung with wide eyes, while the latter softly smiled.
"Come on, try to say something back."
Jungkook didn't knew how to, so he just voiced his question in his mind. "How the hell do I do that?!"
"You just did, Koo. I heard you."
"Woah! This is so cool."
"It is." Taehyung gave a soft peck to younger's forehead. "Ready to see your parents?"
"Yeah."
"Okay. I'll call them."
Taehyung gently got up from the bed and adjusted it so that Jungkook can easily stay in a sitting position. He was almost at the door when Jungkook's voice rang in his mind again.
"Hyungie."
Taehyung turned to look at his baby, who was having a beautiful smile on his face. "Koo?"
"I love you."
The warmth that filled Taehyung's heart felt magical. And he knew Jungkook felt it too. After all, they are now bonded to each other for life.
"I love you too."
